About: I have 25 years of dog/cat experience working/living with different breeds and ages from babies to seniors. Including pet experiences with indoor, indoor/outdoor, outdoor only and even strays. From 2018-2020 I had volunteered at the Elk Grove Petco’s pet adoption center. I am an Army veteran and a lifeguard and I will provide safety, attention and the care that your pet deserves. I have an open and flexible schedule and can walk dogs as early as 6:30 am and as late as 9:30 pm. I work weekday and weekends including most holidays. I can even schedule same day dog walks. My military training has taught me how to be reliable and on time. When sitting your pets food, water, potty breaks, litter and/or messes are my priority. Some pet like cats will hide and I will only observe to see if there are any concerns. Playing, brushing and cuddling/pettings/attention will be provided to friendly pets. By request I can preform other duties when pet sitting, such as vacuuming litter area/shedding hair areas, garbage moving and pool checks.

“Joseph was great, sent lots of pictures and videos while he dog sat during our week vacation. Took our dog for walks, brought in our delivered packages and even took out the garbage!”

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! We had the absolute pleasure of having Florene house sit and care for our dog Charlie, and she exceeded every expectation. From the moment we met her, she was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and professional. She didn’t just care for Charlie…she trained her, loved her like her own, and made sure she was happy, healthy, and engaged the entire time. Florene is truly like Mary Poppins for dogs. We can’t recommend her enough! She’s a rare gem!”

“Nicole was great!!! She spent so much time with my fur babies, my house was super clean when we got home, she washed the couch blankets and did everything that I asked of her. She eased my mind, and I knew my animals and home were being well take care of. Thank you Nicole!!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10, and I don’t just “watch” pets—I build a relationship with them. My own dog, Gadget, is almost 12 years old, and I’ve been his lifelong best friend, snuggle buddy, walker, and groomer. Whether it’s trail hikes, neighborhood strolls, or indoor games like hide-and-seek, I tailor care to what each dog enjoys most. What makes me different is my calm, caring approach. I pay close attention to body language and behavior to respond to a pet’s needs, not just follow a routine. I believe clear communication, trust, and creating a safe environment are essential to happy pets. From house training to meal routines to peaceful walks, I care for every dog like they’re part of my family—because to me, they are. As a stay-at-home dad, my schedule is flexible day or night and pet care is a natural part of our daily rhythm. I’m available on weekdays, evenings, and weekends to care for your pup with the same attention and love I give my own buddy, Gadget. My two daughters are also part of our pet-loving household—they enjoy going on walks and sharing snuggles with our furry visitors. Whether it’s a calm companion or a playful pup, your dog will be part of a warm, active, and caring environment throughout the day. I’d like to be mindful of creating a safe, trusting, and interactive environment for your pup in your home. I’d like to think I have a great attention to detail and like to keep things organized and clean just the way you need it.

About: I’ve had experience with a variety of pets throughout my whole life. Since I was young we always had pets in our house. We’ve had chickens, puppies, senior dogs, rabbits, and a few others. This means that I have had loads of experience caring for and simply loving all different types of animals. In addition to all of this I’ve been pet sitting for a variety of my neighbors since I was ten. So I also have loads of experience caring for other people’s pets. I’m currently a high school student with no job which means I have a lot of time to effectively care for your pets. I am available most hours of the day, including weekdays, so I will be able to tend to your pets anytime needed. There are some days where I have basketball practice which would make me unavailable in the later hours of the day but I will still be available in the mornings. I ended my last year with a 4.2 gpa while doing extracurriculars. This shows that I am a very hard working individual that can be entrusted with the care of your pets. I also just love being around animals so you can trust that they will be loved like my own.

Hi! I’m Xaiviea, I’m 29, and animals have been the biggest part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for just about everything—puppies, kittens, parrots, reptiles, ferrets, chinchillas, barn animals—you name it! I spent a couple years as a professional dog trainer at Petco, regularly volunteer at local shelters, and have been an emergency placement foster many times. I’ve even dabbled in reptile husbandry and helped get my own mom into reptiles—she now has five, and I help her care for them! Right now I live with family to help out my elderly parents, and I share my life with four lovable Frenchies and my sphynx cat, Chicken. (Yes, his name is Chicken. Yes, he lives up to it. 😂) My long-term dream is to open two animal rescues—one just for French Bulldogs and one for all animals—with tons of space for everything from horses to hedgehogs. I also hope to go back to school for biology and zoology, and I’m using Rover to help save for that goal. I treat every pet like my own—furry kids with unique needs, personalities, and big emotions. You can trust me to keep them safe, loved, and totally spoiled. 💖 Thanks for reading—I can’t wait to meet your babies! My schedule is completely open and i promise I will make caring for your pets my first priority. I can stay as long as you'd like or I can pop in as many times as you'd like. Whatever you want I'll make happen! I'm an animal freak and provide the best care possible. My dogs are all on individual diets and have there supplements and all! I don't play when it comes to pet care! I take pride in how I care for my pets and your pets will get the exact same treatment.

Xaiviea L.
“Xaiviea is the best with dogs! She has 4 frenchies and lives and takes care of all of them so well! She used to work at petco, and took things all the way up the chain to make petco. Better place for the animals there ! I think she is the best pet person I have ever met! She’s great with cats as well and has a couple! She has owned just about every single type of animal you can imagine ! She’s good with humans too!”

June B.
“June is a very kind and responsible person. She knows a lot about how to care for and train dogs. She did a fantastic job of setting up all the ground work for Toast. She molded him from a crazy puppy into a superb adult dog who is well mannered and eager to learn new things. She also cared for him for me when he had an injured leg and nursed him back to health. Toast absolutely loves her! Her dog Ceaser was great with Toast. Ceaser was so patient with my energetic pup. He was a great role model and playmate for Toast. I highly recommend June as a part sitter. You will have piece of mind with her watching your fur baby.”

Natalie F.
“I have known Natalie for almost 25 years. During that time I have experienced and observed her love for animals and how she has instilled that same love into her children. I would trust Natalie with my own fur babies of I had to go out of town and feel extremely confident in her care for them.”

Charlotte C.

“Charlotte was amazing! She was communicative and responsive. She was proactive about questions and when I got home Perla was very well loved! Definitely would use again and highly recommend!”
