I raised my female Pit Bull Terrier from the time she was just 2 months old and cared for her throughout every stage of her life. About: I promise to treat your dog just like it's my own. I have always been a huge animal lover and an even bigger lover of dogs. Your dog will have fun playing with toys and getting lots of attention during his/her stay. I stay home full time so your dog will have my full attention and will never be left alone. I will send daily check in updates on how your dog is doing, along with pictures and short videos of your dog as well. So you can rest assured that in my care your dog will be in great hands while you are away! I currently don't do anything else but dog sitting meaning your dog will not be left alone and will always have my full attention during their stay. I do not require dogs to be in a crate they are free to roam and sleep wherever they would like. I am sure to watch closely that your pup does not eat anything they are not supposed to. I do not have a fenced yard but rest assured while on walks/potty breaks I am very alert and watchful to your pup and surroundings. They will be safe with me at all times.

I am just starting on my Rover journey. I am a college student who is looking to help pay for my college expenses. About: I have been caring for both cats and dogs for 10 years! I grew up with a pitbull, mini poodle, and recently adopted a jack russell, so I am well rounded when it comes to different sizes and temperaments of dogs. I also volunteer at a vivarium and have 4 years of experience when it comes to fish and reptile care if that is something you are interested in! I am very comfortable when it comes to caring for young and senior pets! I currently am a full time student at Sac State, but I have a lot of online course work. This allows me to have plenty of time I can spend with pets. At the latest, I get back from classes at 5-6pm, but many days I am able to arrange my schedule as to where I am only on campus until 1pm or even no classes at all! I also have full weekend availability I am very patient and calm, I have worked with pets who are more wary of strangers in the past, but I make sure they have the opportunity to come to me as they get to know me. I follow instructions very well and however the pet parent tells me to approach their baby is how I do it!

“I reached out to Pedro as our dog has some leash aggression issues and needs an experienced hand on his walks. Our dog immediately warmed up to Pedro and left us comfortable going away on a vacation. Pedro was great with our dog and sent updates with each walk as well as some great photos of our dog. We get pretty nervous when leaving our dog as he takes some work but Pedro made us feel comfortable the whole time that our boy was being properly taken care of. 10/10 will use again, and so should you!”

About: Aside from having cared for my toy poodle for 12 years until he passed, I’ve also cared for pets for friends and family either during the day or entire vacation. Followed owners’ instructions and gave needed updates on pets’ wellbeing. I’m currently a full time student at community college Monday through Thursday, so while I am capable of being home in between classes, your pets will be able to have my full attention and care Friday through Sunday nights. I have a two story house with a fenced yard for your pets to play. I will abide by whatever instructions required to care for your babies, crate and frequently give potty breaks and walks. Aside from that, I would love to allow them to wander around and lay on the couch.

About: I do in kennel enrichment and dog walking at the SPCA. It has educated me a lot about positive reinforcement training, desensitization, compassion, and counter conditioning within dog behavior. I am very understanding of every dog's different temperaments and boundaries. I am the proud owner of Max, an 11 year old Pitbull who has been my best friend for over a decade. I am available anytime after 12pm, where your dog’s established routine becomes my priority. Whether they need strict mid-day feeding times or frequent potty breaks throughout the afternoon, I will be there for your pet. I am able to offer consistent, focused attention, structured enrichment, and companionship exactly when your pet needs it most. Safety is my top priority, with SPCA volunteer training and 11 years with my senior Pitbull, Max. In your home, I strictly follow your routine, maintain your house rules, and ensure all doors and gates stay locked and secure. On walks, my shelter experience means I am hyper-aware of our surroundings, good at reading dog body language, and fully confident being your dog's handler. I will send you regular photo updates so you have total peace of mind.
