Even though I'm a helicopter parent when it comes to my cats, I was totally at ease knowing that Ana was coming by daily to check in on them. Ana is compassionate and intuitive when it comes to interacting with pets, and my cats were happy to see her each day. Even my second cat, who is normally terrified of strangers, grew to like Ana. I highly recommend Ana. Even though her rate was a little higher than other nearby Rover providers who do drop-in visits, she is worth every penny. About: Aside from having cared for my toy poodle for 12 years until he passed, I’ve also cared for pets for friends and family either during the day or entire vacation. Followed owners’ instructions and gave needed updates on pets’ wellbeing. I’m currently a full time student at community college Monday through Thursday, so while I am capable of being home in between classes, your pets will be able to have my full attention and care Friday through Sunday nights. I have a two story house with a fenced yard for your pets to play. I will abide by whatever instructions required to care for your babies, crate and frequently give potty breaks and walks. Aside from that, I would love to allow them to wander around and lay on the couch.

I have experience with dogs from very small (miniature dachshund) to very large (great Pyrenees Anatolian Shepard) During my at-home work weeks, I am available 24 hours each day to support your animals. I am available early mornings, late nights, and able to pick up your pup for easier transportation. I do travel for work occasionally so please check my calendar for my availability. My husband and I share two male labs, Jeff and Asher, who are friendly neutered dogs that love to play. I can crate them in a separate space if your pup is more shy! We say no dogs on the furniture but the boys sleep with us every night and sneak onto the couch often. We have a large fenced yard with lots of space and toys for your pups to play. We also live in a nice area near a park for extra walking and play. We only crate our boys while we are out of the house, but can adjust to your needs.

About: I currently have two dogs at home that have been raised since they were puppies. I provide consistent routines for our dogs and am confident in my ability to provide stability for your dogs while you are away from home. My home has a fenced off area indoors and outdoors to give your dogs plenty of space to roam around and not have to be fully cooped up all day. I will help your dogs have a home away from home. I currently have a full time job, but my job also allows for work from home so my schedule is based on my ability to be home during your pet’s stay. Even if I need to be in office, I can come home during my lunch break for 30 minutes to tend to the dogs. On weekends I will be home and only go out for a few hours at a time for groceries. I am very familiar with crate training and other simple tricks for dogs. I always feed all dogs separately to ensure no food guarding occurs and we monitor the dogs throughout meal time. I am comfortable with feeding basic medications if needed.

I work a hybrid schedule and am typically available, throughout the day, 5+ days a week (including weekends). I am an avid walker and used to walking multiple miles a day with my dog. My availability is relatively well planned out, so if you request a sitting in advance, I can always let you know if I will be available. I love all of my pets as if they were my children. I love dogs and cats more than anything. I have two lovely cats and have had two magnificent labs in the past. About: Aside from having cared for my toy poodle for 12 years until he passed, I’ve also cared for pets for friends and family either during the day or entire vacation. Followed owners’ instructions and gave needed updates on pets’ wellbeing. I’m currently a full time student at community college Monday through Thursday, so while I am capable of being home in between classes, your pets will be able to have my full attention and care Friday through Sunday nights. I have a two story house with a fenced yard for your pets to play. I will abide by whatever instructions required to care for your babies, crate and frequently give potty breaks and walks. Aside from that, I would love to allow them to wander around and lay on the couch.

About: I had a beagle from age 6 to 22. From 22 to 36 I had a Maine Coon. I currently have 2 cute ginger cats and a fat grey and white cat. Everyone was a rescue! About: I’ve taken care of dogs for many years and the main thing that I do to make a dog feel safe is to be gentle with them and make sure they’re comfortable in their own home. “I cannot say enough good things about Catherine and Ernie and the care they provided for my English Labrador, Luna. Luna stayed with them for six days and nights, and the difference in her behavior has been remarkable. It's now been three days since she came home, and I am still noticing positive changes in her temperament and obedience. They provided the perfect balance of structure, consistency, and what I would call "tough love," which is exactly what Luna needed. Before her stay, Luna could be difficult on walks, would pull on the leash, react aggressively toward other dogs, and even try to bite her collar when I put it on. Catherine and Ernie not only worked with Luna during her stay, but they also took the time to teach me techniques that I could continue using at home. The results were almost immediate. Luna no longer tries to bite her collar, walks much more calmly, and is significantly easier to handle on a leash. One of the biggest improvements came from introducing a prong collar and teaching me how to use it correctly. Walking Luna is now much more enjoyable, and she is far less reactive toward other dogs. Catherine also recommended training videos and resources to help me continue Luna's progress. There are countless dog-training videos on YouTube, but it was incredibly valuable to have someone show me techniques that were specifically effective for my dog. Another thing I truly appreciated was the communication. Catherine kept me updated throughout Luna's stay with regular texts, photos, and videos, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to see Luna's progress firsthand. If you are looking for dog sitters who genuinely care about your dog's well-being and are willing to go above and beyond to help improve behavior and training, I highly recommend Catherine and Ernie. Luna came home happier, calmer, and more obedient, and I am extremely grateful for everything they did for her.”
