“Such a great experience! She took wonderful care of my pups and kept me updated with photos and messages, which I loved. Her communication was excellent and it gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have loved them for as long as I can remember. I currently have two dogs of my own, so I’m very familiar with the everyday care, attention, and patience that comes with having them. One thing that really sets me apart is how naturally I connect with shy or hesitant dogs. I’ve always had the most nervous dogs among my friends and family warm up to me surprisingly quickly! I’m patient and gentle, and I never rush a dog that needs time to feel comfortable. I’m happy to follow each pet’s routine and give them the attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles they’re used to. Most importantly, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I work from home three days a week, so I’m able to provide plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. I’m especially open to longer daytime stays and doggy day care during the week. I’m also flexible and available for weekend care depending on my schedule. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality, routine, and needs, and I’m especially patient with shy or nervous dogs. I always follow the pet parent’s instructions and make sure dogs are supervised, secure, and given plenty of attention. I have two babies of my own, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. Whether I’m caring for a dog in my home or visiting them in theirs, I treat them with the same care and attention I would want for my own.
About: I’m naturally very observant and attentive to the little things. I pay attention to details changes in behavior, energy, body language, surroundings, and anything that seems out of the ordinary. I’ve cared for dogs for more than 10 years and have been pet sitting since 2020, and I understand how important it is to have someone you can genuinely trust with a member of your family. I’m dependable, patient, active, and a strong communicator. My goal is for you to leave your dog in my care knowing they are not only being walked or checked on they are being noticed, respected, and cared for. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give each dog my full attention rather than squeezing walks into an already crowded day. I enjoy staying active and outdoors, so dog walking fits naturally into my routine. Whether it’s an occasional walk or consistent weekly care, I want your dog to experience someone who is present, attentive, and never just checking a box. Trust begins with paying attention. I carefully follow the routines and instructions you provide because the little details often matter most. During walks and visits, I stay aware of your dog’s body language, surroundings, energy, and anything that seems unusual. I’ll respect your home, communicate clearly, and care for your dog with patience and attentiveness so you can have peace of mind while they’re with me.
“Hannah is so pleasant and kind! My dog is usually on guard when there’s someone he hasn’t met at the door, but he was excited and immediately gravitated towards Hannah, tail wagging and everything! She did very well with my 80 lb baby and would definitely schedule walks with her again!”

“I contacted Livio kind of last minute but he was very accommodating with scheduling a walk for my dogs. He walked four dogs that we have. Mila (my Malinois mix), Addy (my chihuahua), Twinkle (my sister’s senior chihuahua), and Cleopatra (a shepherd mix that we’re currently fostering through IVHS). He and his wife walked them for an hour and they came back pretty tired. My sister’s senior chihuahua doesn’t like to walk much so they were accommodating as far as taking her in her carrier.”

“Brandon was wonderful with our dogs. He was compassionate, attentive, and it was clear that he truly cared about them and their well-being. We felt very comfortable having him take care of them, and everything went smoothly. I would definitely use Brandon again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker.”

About: I started having a genuine love for all animals after I got my two puppies Simba and Solomon. They are four year old energetic, lovable golden retrievers, so I have experience handling medium-large sized dogs. I’m also the designated dog walker for when my cousins decide to go on vacations and leave their dogs behind. I am currently a full time construction project manager. This gives me a flexible schedule to check in on dogs throughout the day as needed. I don’t have a set start or end time for work so it’s very helpful to adjust to different schedules for each dog. I have two golden retrievers who mainly stay in the backyard but also are brought in the house sometimes. They are trained to stay off the furniture and places that we want to keep clean like my kitchen and bedrooms. They know by the tone of my voice of when I’m playing around with them versus when they need to listen to my instructions. I’ve done the same thing for the dogs I’ve watched and even though they’re not as familiar with me, they seem to listen to what I tell them to do.

Can’t wait to meet your four-legged friends and add more adorable images to my growing portfolio! 📸🐶🐱 I'm a retired veteran who has a lot of free time on his hands. I fostered animals while serving in the military and wanted to get back into caring for animals Always flexible with animals and the level of care/attention they require. More than willing to be out and about for a while or stay in because they're home bodies
About: As a pet owner myself, I know it can be hard to find a sitter that you can trust to take care of them. I have 3 dogs at home; a small Shi-tzu, a young husky/german sheppard, and a old retriever mix. I also have 2 young cats and I take care of a neighborhood stray. I have always had a soft spot for animals. My mom and I have fostered stray cats, dogs, and watched pets while family friends were on vacation. I may not have much formal training, but if hired I will carefully watch, play, walk, and hangout with your pets, as well as, keep you updated in the process. Every morning I take my 2 dogs out to go, then I fill up their water bowl and let them back in. I give them their breakfast around 10 and then take them on a walk around the park near our neighborhood. We play throughout the day and they keep each other company while I do chores and homework. I feed them around 4:30 or 5 each night and they get a glucosamine biscuit before we go to bed. Sometimes we go on a second walk before bed as well. I have a fenced yard and two friendly fur babies to keep them company! My cats are friendly but if your babies dont like cats, mine will stay in my room. We have some house gates we used to use when our doggies were puppy training, and a very roomy crate for the young husky, so blocking our animals from yours is always an option if necessary. I only ask that you supply their food for their stay if they are on any special food diet.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of patience, reliability, and genuine love I bring to every pet I care for. I don’t just watch animals—I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I already prioritize responsibility, structure, and time for animals. I plan my schedule so I can give pets consistent attention, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I enjoy being active, so taking dogs on walks or playing outside fits right into my day. I’m also flexible enough to adjust my routine to match a pet’s specific needs—whether that means early morning potty breaks for puppies or slower, gentler evenings for senior pets. In my home, pets get a safe, comfortable space with lots of love, playtime, and exercise. I make sure they feel at ease by keeping a routine similar to what they’re used to. In a client’s home, I respect their space, follow all care instructions closely, and keep pets happy with walks, play, and attention. I also send updates and photos so owners always know their pets are well cared for.

About: Hello! I'm an active and energetic person with a deep love and appreciation for our canine companions. Dogs and humans have a deep connection that is rare in other animals and I immensely enjoy being around dogs and being sensitive to their needs and wants. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - La Palma
Keane was amazing with our two dogs! He walked them multiple times a day and followed all our instructions perfectly even with one of the dogs being pretty difficult. What really impressed us was how responsive and accommodating he was the entire time. He clearly cares about the dogs and went way above and beyond what we expected. We felt totally comfortable leaving our pups in his hands, and that's huge when you're entrusting someone with your furry family members. Highly recommend Keane and will definitely use him again given the opportunity.

Brandon was wonderful with our dogs. He was compassionate, attentive, and it was clear that he truly cared about them and their well-being. We felt very comfortable having him take care of them, and everything went smoothly. I would definitely use Brandon again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker.

Such a great experience! She took wonderful care of my pups and kept me updated with photos and messages, which I loved. Her communication was excellent and it gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!

Selena did a wonderful job walking Zeus. Even though he’s a sweet boy, he can be a lot around people at first but he immediately liked Selena. He can also be reactive to other dogs, but she managed him calmly and confidently. It was their first time together, and she handled him with ease. She’s also very communicative and detail oriented, so I wasn’t worried about him eating something bad on the walk or getting loose.
Whitney is the best dog-walker! She knows dogs well and was so patient and kind. We have a 110 pound lab mix that is quite reactive to other dogs. Our other pup is a senior lab mix who needs a lot of extra encouragement on walks lately. Whitney was a perfect match for both of them. We will definitely be reaching out to her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
