Hi! My name is Alexa, I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and other animals of many personalities and ages. I recently relocated to California and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive and reliable pet care. I am happy to help with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight care, puppy care, and providing extra patience for senior dogs or pets who may feel anxious when their owners are away. I have a 2 year old fur baby of my own, Arlo; who's taught me how important routine, exercise, and affection are for a dog’s happiness and well-being. I’m always able to adjust to your pet's needs and personality. Whether they love long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone nearby. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.

I am sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible with what they’re used to at home. I follow instructions closely when it comes to feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special needs. I know pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and respect I would give Arlo ❤️. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the pet’s environment and the home itself. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also keeping their surroundings clean and calm. I pay close attention to their behavior and energy levels to make sure they are happy and stress-free while you're away. Communication is also important to me, I like to provide updates and photos so you can feel reassured that your fur babies are doing well.

Alexa agreed to petsit for my dog and cat very last minute in our home for 2 nights, and I am so happy we found her! She was very communicative and professional and my dog loved her! She left our home cleaner than when we left. Will definitely ask her to petsit for us again.

Alexa truly saved the evening for me. I was driving five hours into town to take my mom to a show I had bought tickets for, and traffic was so bad that I realized I wouldn’t make it to drop off my puppy, Sandy, and get back to the venue in time. Alexa stepped in at the last minute, met me downtown, picked up my little furry baby, and took her to play for a few hours while we were at the show. Knowing Sandy was safe, happy, and well cared for allowed me to relax and enjoy the night with my mom. Alexa was dependable, kind, and incredibly accommodating on short notice. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and genuinely great with animals. Thanks again, Alexa—you’re truly amazing!

Schedule
I enjoy spending the majority of my time with animals and being active outdoors. I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and making sure pets get the attention they need throughout the day.
