“We are beyond grateful for Tara! She is incredibly patient, caring, and thoughtful with our dogs. Every time she watches them, they are so calm and happy, and it’s clear they feel safe and loved in her care. Her attention to detail and genuine love for animals shines through, and we couldn’t be more thankful to have found her. We feel completely at ease knowing our pups are in such wonderful hands!”

“Cathy was excellent! Our boys were well cared for and she gave them all the attention that they loved. Playing with the boys was apparently the best. Our dogs looked for her for days later. Cathy is a gem!”

“Auntie Dianne is an ABSOLUTE gem! She is in a word… INCREDIBLE! We are so lucky to have found her!!!! She has dog sat for us twice now and has provided TOP NOTCH love and care of our furbabies! She is very proactive with her communication both with initial meet up and during her service! She shows up on time and checks in at appropriate intervals with updates of our fur-kiddos (with adorable pictures of course!)! She is easy going, flexible, relatable and sweet as pie! In addition to treating our babies with the same tender love and care as she would her own, she treats our home with the same level of respect — consistently leaving our home even cleaner than how she received it! Can’t beat that! We can say with absolute confidence that when we leave, we know and trust our furbabies and home are under her competent, watchful and loving eye! She is our first call for all our doggo sitting needs! Mahalo Auntie Dianne! Till next time! 💕”

About: I’m very patient and allow animals to introduce themselves to me instead of forcing an interaction. I love seeing all the different personalities that animals have and learning what their special love language is. I’m currently living in HPP in Keaau and I am willing to travel island wide for house sitting. I work remotely so I need reliable internet but I am available to be home with your pet most of the day. I have a little dog with a warrior spirit. We are willing to do a meet and great if you think I can bring my dog for house sitting. If you’d rather I don’t bring my dog, I can manage that too. He’s used to playing with large dogs including pit bulls and poodles/doodles. Feel free to reach out and ask questions. I am willing to just let your dogs out and feed them but I am also willing to be present day and night if requested. Just let me know your expectations.

“Anyone who knows us will tell you what crazy pet-parents we are!! Once we met Jody, we knew we did not have to look any further for a pet-sitter! She took excellent care of Muppet, sent us daily updates and took care of our home while we were out of the country for 10 days. She is a wonderful and caring person. Thanks to Patrick and her, we were able to have a vacation without having to stress and worry about our fur-baby! We highly recommend her for any of your pet-sitting needs. Thank you, Jody and Patrick!”

“Stephanie is awesome! I have 3 doggies and one of them was having a skin issue. Stephanie applied his medication, kept him in his “no scratch” suit and even got a cone on him! Everything went smoothly. Good communication and the dogs were quite happy when I got home! Thank you!!”

“Regan is the pet sitter we have been looking for since moving to WA a year and a half ago. Our 2 dogs adored her. I could tell they were happier with her than they have ever been with any other sitter. Regan went above and beyond. We came home to a neat and tidy home and sweet-n-clean freshly bathed dogs. We will choose to use Regan as our sitter whenever possible.”

About: I grew up in a zoo. I cared for just about every type of small pet as well as horses and other livestock when I was growing up. As an adult, I’ve always had dogs and cats running around. Having furry critters makes a house truly a home! I live in Volcano Village with my wife and 5 pets. I specialize and have many years of experience working with reactive and formerly abused dogs. I understand their way of thinking, triggers, body language, unique needs, as well as the best way to approach any given situation. Pricing is negotiable, especially for walks and drop-in visits. Living in Volcano, managing fuel overhead, commuting time, and scheduling can be a bit of a balancing act. I’m open to chat. Having had my own businesses since I was 19 years old, I’ve always had strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive. You can count on my professionalism, reliability, and high quality care that can be difficult to find on this island. Available weekdays and weekends. Morning and afternoons for drop-ins and walks as long as I’m not previously booked. Overnights available for pet/house sitting while you are traveling. Not currently boarding at my property, that may change in the future. Only out-calls for walks, drop-ins, feedings, and pet/house sitting for traveling. Let’s chat!

About: I love all furry creatures. I have over 7 years of veterinary experience, one year with the Spokane Humane Society, and a lifetime of personally caring for our furry friends. I am able to adapt to any schedule that you may need (outside of my work schedule, of course. My personal schedule is light and flexible), and can administer any medications that may be necessary (including insulin). I fostered for SHS and other rescue organizations for years and usually took on the special needs ones, so I've encountered a variety of animals with particular circumstances. I'd love to take care of your furry child; message me today! With my flexible work schedule as of late, I can provide care as requested. If your pup is used to daily walks in your neighborhood or at the park, I am (typically) able to work that into my own schedule. I come from a fear-free background, so I incorporate those tenents when I interact with any animal. I encourage owners to write a detailed list of their pets needs and how they'd like me to care for them so we both have piece of mind.

“Austin was great. He and his wife communicated constantly, they always sent us pictures, the dogs were extremely happy when we got back from our trip and the house was spotless. Would absolutely recommend.”

“Shani is amazing - my dogs love her so much. She also took great care of our home in addition to our dogs. We are super grateful to have found her as we are new to the island. Thank you, Shani!”

“Mr Coconut loved having Mayumi stay with him. She brushed him daily and provided his meals a treats just as scheduled. She even did the extra work to track down CoCo's AirTag collar that was in a neighbors yard. she is thoughtful, considerate, and thorough. The house was neat and tidy after her stay and CoCo was sad to see her go. Thank you.”

“Christopher was so natural with my pup… they were instant friends and my mind was so much at ease with all the photos and quick stories about what was going on while I was away. Plus, I returned to a pristine house! I highly recommend Christopher.”

About: Had a family dog at my dad growing up. Always had cats around. Had a some pet rats and fish throughout the years. Been learning a lot in the months now that I’ve rescued my dog. Would combine caring for your dog with my own. Love going on walks and hike along with lounging around. Like to help out other fellow dogs and their owners because been finding out work with a furry loved one at home is not always ideal. Following golden rule, treat others and pets we want to be treated. And the Hawaiian golden rule, leave a place better than how you found it. With love and respect.

“We are so grateful for Shelby’s help with our two large, high-energy dogs. From the moment we met her, we felt completely confident in her care. She is an excellent communicator, keeping in touch before and during our trip—even sending pictures of our dogs having a wonderful time. Her ability to stay full-time at our home was especially valuable for our senior girl, who needs a little extra support. Reliable and responsive—both rare qualities here on the island—Shelby exceeded our expectations. We’ve already booked her for our next trip and feel so lucky to have found her. Thank you, Shelby!”
