About: Animals have always been at the heart of my home and life. I’ve grown up with a wide range of dog breeds—from playful puppies to gentle seniors—and I’ve raised both a Standard Poodle and a Great Dane from the ground. As well as a precious Maine Coon kitty who I rescued! Over the years, I’ve provided trusted pet and house sitting for members of my community and church, building long-term relationships based on reliability and care. I treat every pet like family—with patience, respect, and lots of love. My approach to pet care combines years of hands-on experience with a natural intuition for animals’ needs. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine thanks to the flexibility of my regular job. I have the freedom to set my own hours, come and go as needed, and take time off when necessary—allowing me to prioritize your pet’s needs without conflict or compromise. Whether it’s daily drop-ins, extended stays, or last-minute requests, I’m able to provide consistent, attentive care that works around your schedule and theirs. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment. I follow your pet’s routine closely, respect their space, and give them plenty of attention and care based on their personality and needs. At home, I live with a well-trained Great Dane and an 8-year-old Maine Coon—both of whom I’ve raised since they were a puppy and kitten—so I’m very familiar with all stages of pet care, from playful beginnings to relaxed senior years. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels secure, cared for, and right at home—even my own!

About: Hello there, I have just retired and have a lot of time to stop by and check in or walk your furry pets. We have a place between Silverdale and Poulsbo and I have had cats and dogs most of my life. Currently have three cats and one German Shorthair Pointer who I spend a lot of time exercising and walking. We have lots of animals on our small Poulsbo plot and with growing up around farms in MN, I have lots of experience with animals and would never want to be without them. I know what it is like to go on vacation and have to find someone to feed all my furry family so if I can help with that I am willing!!!!! Currently I am free for stop in visits or dog walks Monday thru Saturday. I am free from early in the morning until 7pm at night. I used Rover myself when in need it for visits before I retired due to my long days at work. We have someone we trusted come in our house from Rover to check in on our GSP and our Cats.

17. Cassandra H.
“Cassie is an amazing pet sitter. She has been watching my cats and guinea pigs whenever I’m not around. She has been watching the cats for years and you can always see how much the animals love her and how much she loves them. Animals seem to warm up to her faster than anyone else I know! I always know my pets are in good hands when she takes care of them. Though sometimes I think they might like her more than they like me! It seems that she has experience with just about every animal I can imagine, when I rescued three guinea pigs she had no problem adding them when she watches my cats. Pet lovers should know that when Cassie watches my animals I have the peace of mind that all my fur babies will be well cared for and I think you will feel the same with her around!”

18. Dennis W.
“Dennis is great with animals of all kinds (large and small, farm and city). A former boxer dog parent, and currently a GSP dad, he also loves his (3) cats, (4) oberhasli goats, and (5) baby geese. He has experience administering medication injections with the goats and is comfortable with special needs fur and feathered babies. I’ve seen little pint sized pups and even unsocial cats snuggle up with him. They all feel comfortable around and love him. I would trust him with any animal, anytime!”
