About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. I tend to connect well with animals that are more troubled, reactive, or unsure, and I’m often able to bring out their calmer, more trusting side. Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Growing up around breeding and long-term dog care taught me responsibility, consistency, and how much attention animals need at different stages of life. I’ve been involved in raising dogs from newborns to adulthood, and many of the dogs I’ve helped raise have gone on to become unforgettable adventure companions for their families. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. Animal care already shapes my daily routine, and I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, exercise, outdoor exposure, and rest. I’m comfortable juggling different routines and planning time and resources around an animal’s specific needs. I’m very conscientious about safety and environmental risks. I pay close attention to doors, gates, toxic plants, household hazards, interactions with unfamiliar animals, and changes in an animal’s behavior. I rely on observation and experience to distinguish between normal behavior and something that may need attention. If something seems off, I communicate clearly and directly, providing context and details without being alarmist. I also enjoy sharing updates and photos so owners feel informed and connected while they’re away. I have experience filming and taking photos of animals especially dogs and cats that don’t sit still - so you’re bound to get a good photo or two of them.
About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 10-15 hours a week. I always receive my schedule at least a week in advance, so I just need time to plan around that. About: Hi! My name is Alexandra and I love all the fur babies! (Truthfully, I love all pets - furry or otherwise.) I have been a cat aunty for many years to the cats of my current and previous roommates, and I have yet to meet one who I don't just love to bits! I had a dog many years ago and have since been a dog aunty when a friend needs a sitter. I already love to play outside, so what's better than bringing along a bouncy fur baby? Most of my pet/house sitting experience has been through personal connections. I have spent the last 4 years caring for cats and dogs of all ages, including seniors who need medications, and doggos who need extra attention for regular potty breaks. I've also had the pleasure of caring for a few chickens! I prepared their fermented food every couple of days, collected eggs, and cared for the coop. (Being that most sitting I've done have been through personal connections, the reviews on my page are minimal. To supplement, I have many references to share, so if you would like them, let me know!) I work full time hours at around 32-40 per week, with 8 hour shifts. Hours outside of work would be dedicated to caring for your pets and plants. On my days off, I would be happy to hang out with your pets, or take them along for a hike (if allowed). I am available for overnights to ensure as much comfort as possible while you are away, and I'm happy to try to maintain routines that you have set. About: I have been with Rover for four years, I’m learning a lot and having so much fun doing so. I enjoy using Rover to interact with dogs of all breeds and ages. I do have lots more previous experience before Rover but so far this has been the best experience with meeting new people and their dogs. I just recently earned a certificate in dog training with Animal behavioral college. It was a 18 month extensive program and I learned a lot with studying and hands on training. With all of my volunteer experience in shelters, and with my own pets, I am comfortable with giving medicine or following any special instructions. I have a fenced back yard with lots of space to run and play. We frequent all the local trails, no matter the weather, so if you need a tired dog, I am your go to Walker or doggie daycare provider! Message me for all your overnight/ extended stay questions. I also care for other animals, so please feel free to message me for cats, birds, exotics, reptiles, etc. I do this full time so my schedule is all about pet care! I set time for long dog walks, playtime, and I work with your feeding schedule. Pets always have water available to them, I keep my backyard tidy and poop free, dog friendly toys only, healthy treats, I stay on feeding schedules, safe walks, and I never leave your pet unattended with children or other animals.
About: I'm reliable and have cared for a wide variety of dog sizes and ages. I have cared for senior dogs and other dogs with special care requirements. I'm available to take care of any pets any day of the week at your house. My two dogs are not guaranteed to get along with yours and they are both adverse to new people so I cannot host any pets. I can do overnights at your house as my pets have other carers in the house. I greet your dog when I see them, let them outside if that's an option or go for a walk immediately. I will feed them, refill their water bowl and play with them. We will go on a walk if not already done. I make sure they have enough water and pets before I leave.
