About: The Name is Yes-Purr. Shaken, Not Furred. Your pet isn’t just watched - they’re fully cared for like one of my own. With overnight stays and a flexible work-from-home schedule, I build their day around walks, play, meals, and consistent attention tailored to their personality and energy. From shy companions to social butterflies, I make sure they feel safe, settled, and genuinely at ease until you’re home again. I offer dependable, attentive pet care, which means your pet gets a calm, consistent presence throughout the day rather than rushed check-ins. My schedule allows me to integrate walks, feeding, playtime, and litter care into a steady daily rhythm, so your pet’s routine stays stable and stress-free. For dogs, I build in structured walks and breaks around my work blocks, ensuring they get regular exercise and attention between my writing and publishing tasks. For cats, I provide quiet, respectful care with regular check-ins, play, and feeding - always adjusted to their personality and comfort level. I’m flexible and responsive, while still keeping a reliable routine in place. I’m present, observant, and able to notice small changes in behavior or needs quickly. Your pet gets consistent care, your home stays respected, and you get peace of mind knowing someone responsible is there throughout the day - not just stopping by.
“Allison is great! Our lady dog is a big handful and Allison was patient with her and communicative with us the entire time. We won’t hesitate to book with her again :)”

“Wendy is a dream pet sitter! She stayed with our two dogs for two days, and the entire experience was seamless. It was immediately clear how thoughtful and caring she is; our dogs were happy, relaxed, and well-loved in her care. Wendy is also exceptionally tidy. We were thrilled to return to a spotless home after our trip. It gave us such peace of mind to know both our pups and our house were in such capable hands. We would welcome her back in a heartbeat!”

“Briana watched our dogs for two nights and did a great job. She followed their routine and communicated very well. Anytime she left the house she would let us know. Our dogs loved her and they got along well. She was very friendly and we would definitely rebook.”

“Dennis was a fantastic sitter. Excellent and regular communication, and he demonstrated real care for our dogs. He was flexible and easy to work with, and the dogs loved him. We will definitely use Dennis again!”

“I needed a dog sitter at the last minute due to a family emergency. I was thrilled that Shayla was available and willing to help us out. I was 800 miles from home, so she had to coordinate with my husband beforehand. Everything went well, and I will definitely reach out to her again for help.”

About: I’ve been in a dog household since I was in middle school, and I’ve been the caretaker of as many as 5 dogs at a time. I am home from the summer from university and currently have an open schedule with many opportunities for dog care. I have availability 7 days a week with weekdays preferred. I love keeping pets company and spending time with them to make sure they can get their energy out. I am capable of taking multiple dogs at a time, but also can take out one at a time if necessary. I have good etiquette regarding doors and know how to watch so sneaky dogs don’t escape.
About: I have dog sat for a handful of people over the years. Some new clients and some faithful returning ones that become family friends. Some have needed medication and lots of walks, some just needed a friend, I love doing anything/everything. I do not currently own any pets and would love to be outside and more active. I would be available to do walks/drop ins around 3:30pm-9pm Monday-Thursday and most times Fridays-Sundays. Dog sitting availability depends on needs and pet schedule but please reach out about anything! I have worked with crates, dog doors, or dogs being inside all day and need walks/potty breaks. I hope we can work something out between us and your loved fur baby.
“Robin was great!! My pup loved her and she was not at all intimidated by his high energy and ill-mannered behavior. She communicated with us before and during the stay, and sent pictures. Sherlock was entertained and she even was able to get my very picky eater to finish his dinner. I highly recommend her.”

“Paula was perfect for our girls! She was very attentive and we felt incredibly comfortable with how she handled each dog with expertise and care. Our dogs were happy in all their pictures she sent and she was great at communicating to let us know they were all good through the visit! We would absolutely book Paula again!”

“Sarah was fantastic and I will absolutely request her services again! I was nervous to leave about leaving my dogs for the first time; they are both rescue dogs with separation anxiety and used to a very consistent routine. She took the time to come meet them ahead of time and go over their needs with me. She was very communicative, sent multiple check-ins and photos, and was quick to clarify details if she was unsure about something. They both took to her right away. She was the perfect fill in for "mom" while I was away. Thank you so much! We will definitely reach out again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats alike since I was 16. I started by pet sitting overnight for my grandparents while they were on vacation and eventually started pet sitting for friends and family. I’ve handled walking, feeding, enrichment, and medication needs. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and dispositions and have no problem staying overnight as needed. I am self-employed and therefore have the flexibility in my schedule to care for your pets in the way they deserve, whether that be an overnight stay or regular walks and potty breaks. My cats sleep in my bed with me and get regular pets and cuddles. I provide enrichment as often as they seem interested. I care for clients’ pets like I would care for my own. If the pets are allowed to sleep on the bed or sit on the furniture with me, I love animal cuddles and am happy to share my space.
“We went to Maryland for a week and during our trip we received photos of our dogs, and they were so happy. Anna is great and she even washed her sheets before she left! It was so wonderful. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Bowie had a great time with Lisa. I so appreciated her updates and REALLY appreciated her patience in dealing with what turned out to be a doggie w/ an upset tummy. She provided absolute peace of mind that Bowie was well taken care of in his own home.”

“We loved our experience with Anna! She’s so friendly, communicative, and our dog Sopa loved her!!! She left the house tidy and like she wasn’t even here. She’s such a nice person and great dog sitter! We’ll definitely use her again :)”

“Annette is amazing!! She watched our dogs in our home while we were away for a week - Great communication, photos of the pups, and helped with things around the house. Her schedule allowed her to be home almost all the time with them, which they appreciated .She clearly cares for the animals under her watch and we can't wait to have her come again!”

About: I grew up around lots of animals, from Horses to Bunnies. We always had at least 3 dogs as a kid and I always enjoyed taking them Hiking and they always enjoyed the belly rubs after! In my adult life I've taken care of my own pets as well as friends and family members in need. I can't ever get enough of my furry friends. They can truly keep us feeling young and happy. I now also provide Therapy Dog assistance to local schools and other establishments in need and am certified through ATD. My pet care routine is very flexible at home. We take our dogs to the beach frequently and on hikes. We also have a very large fully fenced in yard to enjoy being outside whenever they want to. Every day is different and a new adventure Let me know what your furry family member needs and I can help. I'm used to high energy as well as low energy dogs. Young or Senior. If they are a stay at home type doggo our yard is very large and very safely fenced in.
“Natasha was wonderful! We met her first and knew right away she would take care of our pup with great care. While we were away, Natasha sent us daily notes and pictures of how Whisky was doing. Playing with her dog, Jasper, was an added bonus for Whisky! We will definitely be having Natasha come stay with Whisky again! Thank you Natasha! Our trip was worry free 😊”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bangor Trident Base walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bangor Trident Base maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bangor Trident Base choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bangor Trident Base. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
