“Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! About: Hi, my name is Amber-rae, I am 22 years old and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — I’ve cared for everything from barnyard animals to beloved family pets since I was 9 years old. Dogs have always been by my side, and I welcomed my very own pup into my life at just 10 years old. About: I have had dogs (usually multiple at a time) for the past 17 years. I have trained 4 dogs from a puppy and very much understand and know the puppy world and the time and patience it takes. I have also cared for a friends elderly dog with special needs. I’ve pretty much seen it all and welcome your dog and all their quirks. I currently work from home 4 days during the week so I have lots of availability for potty breaks and play time. My husband and I spend a lot of time at home and usually only have to leave for a couple hours at a time if at all. If we have a day blocked off it means we will be gone more than a couple hours that day. Feel free to ask about days that are blocked to see if our schedules match up. While we don’t have a yard, we do have a park next door with walking trails and a field across the street for potty breaks. Our dog is crate trained at night and for when we are away from the house. Your dog does not have to be crate trained at night but we do request to not have them sleep on the bed. We do request your dog to be ok in a crate when we are out of the house though. Which if we accept your stay we will never be gone more than 2 hours at a time if at all during their stay :)

About: My sister loved getting animals, I loved taking care of them. I've cared for dogs, cats, and a variety of others since I was in high school. Size really doesn't matter, I have no issues with any dogs or cats. (The bigger the better honestly, but I love small ones too!) I raised a few of my dogs from 8 weeks; and my current pup I got at 12 weeks; so I can handle puppies too! I only work early mornings, so I’m unavailable between 7am to Noon. This may fluctuate as I do not have set hours. I’m off all weekends and federal holidays as well. I have 2 pets, a dog and cat, so between 6-8pm I have to care for them. All other hours of the day I’m free! If needed I can do walks and drop ins during the 6-8pm window, however that time is necessary when house sitting. Please be aware of Rovers set holidays and henceforth holiday rates, if a service is requested and the majority of the days for service fall on those days (1 of 2 days, 2 of 3 days, 4 of 5 days, etc.) I will adjust the pricing of the service(s). If you book a service the day before a holiday period and through a holiday period, it does not activate holiday rates for some reason, so please beware of that (: Also, puppies do not have a holiday rate! I also have a large dog (80 lbs) Atlas, who is VERY friendly and has never had issues with any other animals! I prefer not to take on more than one animal for boarding, as your pet deserves my full attention. I have a dog park in my complex, as well as great trails near my home! For anyone requesting walks/drop ins/house sitting, I ask you all the likes & dislikes your pet has so I know from the source what your pet would enjoy!

About: Hi, my name is Amber-rae, I am 22 years old and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — I’ve cared for everything from barnyard animals to beloved family pets since I was 9 years old. Dogs have always been by my side, and I welcomed my very own pup into my life at just 10 years old. But i often care for my mothers dogs, she has 6 of them, four little Havaneese and two giant mastiffs At home our cats have free roam or the house and are only sometimes locked in their bedroom (the bathroom) because that’s where their food and litter box is. They’re given plenty snuggles and love, especially from my daughter, they love to play and cuddle on her bedroom floor. As for a clients animal, I will follow whichever routine is given for each animal (cat or dog) Whether it’s playing fetch, simply feeding them or going for a walk.
