Additionally, I often took care of many of my friends' dogs (chihuahua and other medium mix breeds) while away on extended trips, namely playing with pets, walks, bathing, and poop time. In my 20’s I have had various house sitting opportunities to collect packages and tend for pets, cats, fish and gardens. Currently as a full time dog walker, herbalist and land steward, I feed the local wildlife, tend to an abundant native species garden and perform other domestic duties to maintain the beauty of the home. About: I have grown up with many dogs. My childhood dog grew up with me and I learned to love and take care of a dog with her. Since then I have cared for many other dogs. Most dogs I have cared for have medical needs such as medication or certain foods. While I have a soft spot in my heart (and much experience) with senior dogs, everyone loves a puppy too! I have taken care of many high energy puppies who need to play! I am available most time! I work on call so my schedule remains fairly open! I am an early riser and love a morning pet session! About: I’ve loved animals since I was a kid. My many years of pet ownership has trained me for this opportunity. My Chewy is both happy and healthy. I’m recently retired. My daily schedule is built around the needs of my boy, Chewy. He’s walked at minimum three (3) times a day; my friends and family know the routine. I have a secure deck to allow fresh air and free movement with guaranteed security. I have a crate if needed, but think all dogs should have free movement daily.

About: I have lived my entire life with dogs. My first dog was a year old when I was born, she lived a beautiful life until she was 15. My family then brought in another sweet black lab, which I primarily raised and trained. I have also raised and trained a chocolate lab, she is currently 6. I have recently moved to Chicago from the east coast and truly miss my fur babies. I currently work for a college as a football coach, with a very flexible summer schedule. My busy time is the fall, when our season starts. A lot of my work outside of practices and games, can be done remotely. Each pet will have different needs. You cannot treat and care for every pet the same. I will try to maintain your pets routine and schedule to the best of my ability

About: I cared for and helped train my family's Australian Shepherd and have cared for dogs of all ages and breeds. Comfortable working with all dogs. I will soon start working part-time, but am available during non-work days and nearly every night of the week. Open to various tasks and responsibilities. I have 7 years of experience care for cats and dogs and look forward to many more. Over the past few years I have rescued and successfully re-homed 10 (4 of which were completely abandoned😢) kittens. My passion as a child was to become a veterinarian, and although that’s not my career my love for animals hasn’t gone away! I successfully care for and look after multiple cats/kittens at a time and train kittens in the litter box if needed. I am available to housesit and/or pet-sit for cats. I will care for your fur babies carefully during the times they’re with me if I’m house sitting or until it’s time to bring them back home if we’re out for a stroll.
