About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and have 15 years of experience as a pet owner. Over the years, I’ve cared for a variety of dogs, including a Black Lab, two Chihuahua rescues, a German Shepherd, a Pit Bull, and a Corgi/Husky mix. I’ve also cared for the pets of family and friends for extended periods, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s going for a walk, playing indoors or outdoors, or simply keeping them company, I’ll do my best to make sure they’re happy and well cared for. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to dogs weighing around 100 lbs. I’m happy to walk your dog around your neighborhood, stick to their usual routine, and administer oral medications if needed. My goal is to give your pet the care and attention they deserve while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands! I’m currently between jobs, so I have plenty of flexibility! I’m generally available on weekdays between 9 AM and 2 PM, with some weekend availability as well. With enough advance notice and good communication, I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that works for both of us. With 15 years of experience as a pet owner, I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, from little pups to the big guys! I understand that every dog has their own personality and preferences. Some love to play and stay active, while others are happiest just having someone around to keep them company. My own dogs are more on the couch-potato side, so I know how important it is to respect a dog’s pace and give them plenty of downtime, too. I’ll always do my best to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: Growing up, my dog was my best friend. We went on all sorts of adventures together and I loved every moment of it. Now, I miss it. I’d love a chance to share my passion for taking care of your pets with you. I have 10+ years experience caring for both dogs and cats (also birds, hamsters, fish, rabbits, who’s counting?). I also can grab mail, take out the garbage, and make it look like I was never even there lol!

About: Hi, I’m Melanie! I am 30 years old and I have owned and taken care of 4 dogs, 8 cats, and 2 rabbits in my life; as well as helping family and friends with care/training for their animals! I love being around all kinds of animals, big and small. That being said, I know every pet has their own individual needs and I love being able to provide that for them (training, walks, specific toys, grooming, etc). I have no problem giving medication, being mindful of allergies, or helping with any other special needs your pet may have! I’m a very active person, so I don’t mind long walks with your fur baby!

About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. Then when I was newly married I would watch friends and family's pets while they were away. I really enjoyed giving the pets attention and love like they were my own. I wanted both the owner and pet to not be stressed while away from each other but also have a good time! About: I have experience with seizures and strokes in dogs, am able to administer any kind of medication, and have some experience with animals struggling with anxiety. I am a graduate student just looking for some fulfilling part time work. I am available at any point during the weekdays and after October 31st on the weekends I will not be able to host any animals, but I plan on prioritizing the pet’s comfort within their own home and making sure all needs are met

About: I pay close attention to pets as I do children, treating each with love, respect, compassion, and empathy. Sometimes no words are needed, just a scratch under the chin, chest, head, or ears! Other times, fuzzy friends need to be told what a great gift from God they truly are. I love being sensitive to each creature's individual needs, and cherish the special bonds formed while owners entrust me with their forever family friends. Sometimes that means going the extra mile (literally) if furry friends feel like going for a jog, hike, or swim! Thunderstorms can be the worst for some, soft spoken words, songs, and snuggles are my specialty. If a kennel is preferred I’m in full agreeance. I have been animal/house sitting for over a decade and am grateful for each opportunity given to help and serve. I am a stay at home mom with two kids and two fur babies. On weekends, my husband, kiddos (fur babes included), and I spend time in the outdoors, hiking, picnics, walks etc. Our pets and those that we watch are considered family members, therefore have our constant attention, love, and affection! We have an adequate fenced in backyard space for pups to play and enjoy frequent visits to the park. With drop in, checking food and water are on the list along with potty outside, playing ball (or throwing stuffies/ frisbee 🥏) and rubs.

About: I have cared for and owned many dogs since I was a child. Have cared for and boarded family members dog on many occasions in the last 6 years. I am very kind and patient with all animals. I work full time Monday to Friday. I can watch or board your pet fully on the weekends or after 4PM during the week. If its a pet that already uses crating during the work day I can also accommodate. I have a large fully fenced large yard, large home and will gladly walk your dog in the neighborhood. We have two kind children who love dogs and can help keep your dog company.

About: I have done seasonal dog walking jobs for older clients as well as drop-in visits for several of my friends and family’s cats or dogs. I am also proficient in caring for senior cats as I have rescued two from the street. My kitties are quite independent and have an auto kibble feeder and they are fed wet dinner in the evenings to support urinary health. I am always hanging out with them when in my home as it is theirs as well. I am always checking on my pets and giving them affection. I am attentive and quick to respond which makes me very observant and detail oriented. Your pet is always safe under my watch and your instructions will be followed closely.
