About: I grew up with dogs in my family and taking care of dogs for my neighbors. My family began fostering dogs in our home in 2014, ranging from elderly pitbulls to chihuahua puppies. I have a cat with my roommate now, and have experience cat sitting in other homes. Since I have my own cat now, and my roommate often travels, I have become comfortable with regimented animal routines and cat mannerisms/behavior. Our cat is 6 with FIV, and we are attentive to his litter box, playtime needs, and diet. I understand cat behavior better with their cuddle and distance needs. I Will take time to get to know the animal before coming in with my “tried and true” methods. Every pet is different, and needs to be respected. I would give them a separate space and feeding area.

Our pets which include, a picky chihuahua and a spunky mini bunny just loved Rob. From the minute he came to visit them before our trip it was easy to see they were relaxed around him and happy to spend time with him. When we came back from vacation it was obvious they truly were not stressed and had been well cared for. The house was in perfect shape and Rob went out of his way to leave a detailed note (along with daily up dates and pictures he had sent). We look forward to having Rob pet sit in the future. “Leah is my daughter so of course I think she is wonderful, but she really is! Especially when it comes to animals. We could be anywhere and if she sees a cat or dog, she has to make contact with them. She has had cats at home for most of her life. She helps me with TNR and takes care of feral colonies on her own. Leah is pursuing her bachelor's degree in relation to animal care, rescue and rehab. She has worked at a doggie day care, a zoo, has some vet clinic experience and also dog walking experience. Any animal, not just a dog or cat, would be lucky to have Leah take care of them. She would be truly invested in your pet. Your pet would be loved and cared for by someone whose life's work will be taking care of animals.”

About: I have always been an animal lover. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different sizes, breeds, and with special needs. Let me spoil your cat or dog while you need to step away! I included pictures of past pets that I have owned or cared for. I work from home with a flexible daily schedule, so your precious pet will get non-stop attention. Daycare drop off and pickup hours can be between 6 am and 7 pm. Pickup times after 7 pm would need to be booked as overnight boarding with pickup the following morning. I offer extended stays as well. Currently, I don’t have any pets in my apartment, yet I have plenty of open space for hosting furry visitors. I have worked with many foster dogs who were abused and needed extra attention, so I am sensitive to any special needs your pet may have. I will be glad to take your dog for outside walks at least few times a day! Please let me know of any other needs your pet may have and I will be happy to discuss how I could accommodate.
