About: Growing up with German Shepherds and a corgi, I learned patience, training skills, and responsibility. I also had two horses and often volunteered at the local stables caring for others' horses. Since then neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. I hope to care for yours as well! I am currently working a full-time job, but I can care for pets in the evenings, on weekends, and I can house sit during trips or longer absences. I am unable to bring pets into my current home, but in my car I can transport your pets to necessary appointments or to favored dog parks. Whatever training you have with your pet, I will maintain, whether that means crate training or keeping pets out of certain locations in your home.
About: I grew up with dogs and small animals, and I’ve cared for pets at every stage of life, including comforting a big dog scared of storms and giving medications to cranky senior animals. I have two cats and a 9-yr-old chinchilla with big personalities. I know pets are our family members, and I look forward to caring for yours! Available for drop-ins and walks in the evenings and weekends. I live in River Market and work in midtown, so I can be available for some morning or lunchtime needs in those areas. About: I am new to Rover but I’ve worked professionally with a number of animals over the last 15 years. I’ve work in boarding/vet/daycare facilities for 5 years and I’ve done in-home care for the last 15. I’ve also volunteered my time in a wildlife rehab for 5 years working most closely with birds, squirrels, and opossums- but on occasion did work with mice, snakes, turtles, and frogs. Only once I cared for a spider. I fostered puppies and adult dogs for 3 years for the shelter. And I’m familiar with a number of medications including insulin. I am a big animal lover. My personal pets include a dog, a cat, 3 chickens, 2 pigeons, and some mealworms. I work full time, Monday- Friday morning shift. But have full availability on weekends. My schedule is stable and doesn’t vary very often or very much if it does. At my home, I have a fenced yard, a dog-friendly cat and dog. Dogs are allowed on the couch. Kenneling as necessary- for example protecting puppies from chewing on everything. In a clients home, I follow the care instructions provided.
