About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, helping family and friends whenever they traveled or had busy schedules. Whether it was just for the day or a few weeks, I’ve always loved making sure their pups felt safe, happy, and well cared for. A couple of years ago, I had the incredibly rewarding experience of fostering a rescue dog here on the island—and that’s when I decided to take my passion for pet care more seriously. When my neighbor had to move away, I stepped in to care for her pup and eventually found her a loving forever home. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely love and take pride in. I have a very flexible schedule this summer while I’m on break from school, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with your pup! I'm available for frequent check-ins, walks, and extended stays to make sure your dog is well cared for. While I’m currently exploring a part-time job on the side, pet care is a top priority, and I remain very open and committed to my availability. I live up in the valleys with plenty of other furry friend owners! It is a calm area with a super friendly community! I also have a little yard they can use for quick potty breaks.

Your pets are naturally going to sense your absence and so adhering to their "normal" schedule as much as possible helps provide some comfort while you are away.

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve been blessed to be surrounded by animals and absolutely loved it! I actually loved it so much that I turned that into a career. I currently work as a veterinary technician at VCA providing general to emergency care to all of our patients. I am very familiar with performing medical treatments to dogs and cats, for example giving subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, giving fluids, and giving or applying oral/topical medications. I am also very familiar with performing grooming services like nail trims, baths, sanitary shaves, anal gland expressions and so on. In my personal and work life I am very familiar with taking care of both dogs and cats of every age. Personally I own an almost 3 year old Rottweiler/Boxer mix and a now 1 year old gray tabby that I adopted when she came into our clinic as a kitten looking for a foster:) My work week often looks like working 4 days a week at a veterinary hospital and the other 3 days of my week are usually open on my schedule to care for your animal(s) in whatever way necessary. I am fortunate to have breaks to check on your animals during my work day or if you desired I would be able to bring your fur baby to work with me if that made them happier! All of my time in your home would be dedicated to making your animals feel as happy and comftorable as possible. Sticking to their routines, feeding schedules and any play time that they feel up to! I am also more than happy to contribute to any house related needs during my stay.

About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and bunnies. Most of my pet-sitting experience comes from watching my siblings’ dogs while they’re out of town. I'm a proud aunt to six fur babies and a bonus mom to my boyfriend’s sweet kitty. Outside of family pets, I’ve cared for young puppies (8–10 weeks old), senior dogs, and shy rescues. I also have some experience administering basic oral medications. I’m comfortable with all ages and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality! I work early hours and virtually, so I’m available for check-ins during my morning break and after 2PM most weekdays. My schedule is flexible depending on the day, and I’m also available on weekends. I always make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure and that pets are never left unattended in unsafe situations. About: My family has always had a German Shorthaired Pointers, and we've also had the pleasure of fostering other dogs. Growing up with these furry friends taught me the joys and responsibilities that come with caring for a high-energy pet. Plus, I've even had the chance to take care of my neighbor's dogs while they were away. For the month of May, I am completely available. I am a college student who works part-time at a pool that doesn't open until after Memorial Day. I have a very flexible schedule. When I'm taking care of pets, I love to stick to the same routine their owners have established. I know that being away from their owners can be stressful for dogs, so I make it my mission to create a cozy and safe environment for them.
