“5 Stars – Truly the Best Dog Sitter! We are beyond grateful for the incredible care our three dogs received while we were away. From the start, it was clear our sitter was not only experienced but genuinely kind and attentive. She took the time to get to know each dog’s unique personality and needs, and it immediately put us at ease. We got regular updates and adorable photos that gave us so much peace of mind—it really felt like our dogs were on their own little vacation! It was obvious how much love and effort went into every part of their care. Reliable, thoughtful, and truly a gem—this is someone who goes above and beyond. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book again or recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier pet care.”

“Such an amazing person! She sent us so many pictures of our fur babies and took such great care of them! Will absolutely be reaching out to her for all of our trips! Super responsive, kind, warm, and loving to our pets! The best pet sitter we have had!”

“Janey is a fantastic dog sitter. She is incredibly thoughtful and caring. She house sat for my two dogs and from all the photos and videos it seems they really trusted her, felt safe with her, and were able to be their spunky selves with her. It’s true that she will go above and beyond your expectations. If you’re looking for a sitter that will ease the stresses of leaving your animals with great communication, Janey is who you want.”

“Thank you to Sulamita for watching Benjamin and Maple. We have two dogs that have very different personalities, one of them is reactive to other dogs, very guarded and cautious of strangers so we were worried about how he would do with someone new but Sulamita was able to get him to warm up to her within a few days. The other dog is a shy and nervous girl, but she is easy to win over so we weren't worried about her. She stayed with our dogs overnight for ever a week in house and she kept our house like we left it, kept up our dogs routine like picking up poop, bathroom/potty breaks, giving the dogs their daily supplements, and took out our trash bins as we requested. We very much appreciated it! Overall, we were extremely satisfied with her service as she communicated well, followed our instructions, asked questions to make sure she was doing the right thing, and treated our babies with love and respect. We would love to continue to go with her again for any future services until the next journey in her life. Thank you so much Sulamita for taking care of our babies, we are so happy to know that they were being cared for without any worries. Please don't hesitate to book with Sulamita, you can trust your fur babies are in good hands!”

“Veronica was an absolute dream to work with! Our older pups started experiencing some random symptoms about a week before our trip to Japan and we contemplated cancelling the whole trip but Veronica gave us so much comfort and reassurance which also gave us peace of mind. We were in communication every day and she also sent pics/videos which was so calming for us. Normally we don't worry as much but our dogs are 16 and 13 years old but Veronica was very understanding and we cannot wait to work with her again. Thank you!”

“Liz was really great with my senior 16 y/o Chihuahua. My dog was having health issues and Liz was able to keep her eyes healthy and she looked great when I got home! There was a possible seizure during my time away, and Liz was prompt to let me know and discuss all the details of the situation. She was able to be there for my baby and keep her as safe as possible. She watered my plants and kept my home clean. She was great, and I would ask her to sit my babes again if it works out! Thanks Liz!”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, and from a young age I learned to understand their personalities, rhythms, and unique ways of communicating. That natural sensitivity isn’t something you learn later in life—it’s something you grow up with. I’m a geographer with studies in biology and a master’s degree in territorial development, which gives me a deeper understanding of animal behavior, environment, and safety. My life has always been connected to nature. I rock climb and hike regularly, so if your pet is active, I can offer exploration, movement, and outdoor experiences. If your pet prefers calm, I provide routine, stability, and a peaceful environment. I adapt with patience to every temperament, from the most independent and reserved to the most affectionate and curious. My experience as a teacher strengthened my empathy, calm communication, and ability to create trust. I can also administer non‑injectable medications and keep you updated with photos and messages so you always feel at ease. I chose pet care because it brings me back to what’s real, simple, and full of heart. When your dog or cat stays with me, they’ll be treated with love, respect, and dedication—like part of my ʻohana. I have a flexible schedule and can adapt to whatever your pet needs. I’m available in the mornings, throughout the day, and in the evenings, including weekends. When possible, I also accept last‑minute requests. My priority is keeping your dog or cat on a stable routine, with steady company and a safe, calm environment. I only offer pet care in the client’s home and adventure walks, because I believe pets feel safer and more relaxed when they stay in their own familiar environment. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine exactly as they know it—feeding times, medication, play, rest, and any special instructions. I respect your home’s rules and adapt to your pet’s temperament, whether they’re independent, shy, or very affectionate. I also offer adventure walks, ideal for active dogs who enjoy exploring, hiking, or releasing energy in nature. Thanks to my experience with hiking and climbing, I guide them with calm attention, safety, and responsibility. In both cases, I keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. My priority is creating stability, trust, and a caring environment wherever your pet feels most at home.
About: I’ve always been a responsible pet owner since I was little and have had numerous unique pets growing up. I love pet sitting, walking, and taking care of them all as if they were my own 🩷 I am currently a substitute teacher and have some extra time and days I don’t have work so I have free time for walks and cuddles. I have always prioritized safety in my different occupations doing security and corrections most of my life. I take pride in people’s trust in me in different ways.
“Claire was SO sweet and attentive to my pets. She sent lots of updates and went the extra mile in so many ways. We are so appreciative and the pets absolutely loved her. Looking forward to working with Claire in the future!”

About: Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s what I love. I’ve spent years working hands-on with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I truly believe every animal deserves patience, respect, and individualized care. From energetic puppies and shy rescues to senior pets who need a gentler touch, I’m experienced in adapting my care to each pet’s unique needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of reliable care. I’m primarily available during the morning and early afternoon, which allows me to provide attentive, unrushed visits that fit well with pets’ daily routines. I care for pets in their own home, where they’re most comfortable and relaxed. I follow your pet’s established routine closely—feeding, playtime, litter or potty care, medications, and quiet companionship—so their day feels as normal as possible while you’re away. I treat your home with respect, keep spaces clean and tidy, and take time to make sure your pet feels safe, calm, and well cared for. Thoughtful attention and reliable updates are always part of my in‑home care.

I am very attuned to animal personality and behaviour and have a joyful love and sincere appreciation for companion animals. I am an excellent choice if you have a senior dog. I am a joyful, gentle, and courteous person. I prioritise morning sunshine and productive, creative solitude. I am patient and discerning and I go to bed on the early side. I am a homebody: I go for walks and I love sunshine and the beach, but am otherwise I am happy keeping the house clean and occupied. I go to bed early and rise with the sun. I do not have visitors, even in my own home, and pride myself on leaving spaces better than I find them. I am communicative and consistent. I have responded effeciently to several medical emergencies in both dogs and cats, and successfully resuscitated two dogs. I am very observant and spent my childhood studying veterinary texts and nature documentaries. I have noticed and responded to anything from fecal impaction to molt/shedding dysfunction and allergic reaction. I pay full attention to pets and am here to serve!

About: I’m a reliable and experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of hands-on care for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, fish, and multi-pet households. I’ve completed stays ranging from a few days to over two weeks, and I’m comfortable managing multiple pets at once while keeping each one safe, happy, and on routine. What sets me apart is my experience across all life stages—from energetic puppies who need structure and patience to senior pets who require gentle care, attentiveness, and consistency. Having cared for my own senior dog as well as others, I understand the extra level of compassion and awareness older pets need. I prioritize clear communication, reliability, and treating every pet like they’re my own. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, but I’m available for pet care in the evenings and fully open on weekends. I build pet visits into my daily routine after work and dedicate my weekends to providing attentive, flexible care. I provide attentive, reliable care in your pet’s familiar environment, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and routine at all times. I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly how you left it while maintaining clear communication and updates you can trust. “We were elated with their enthusiasm and attention to detail with our dog Rufus. He fell in love with their every instantly! Great communicators. Reliable. Timely. Can’t wait to book again.”

“Leilani and Luke took great care of our dogs and our home while we were away! They were very communicative and sent lots of pictures! They also clearly treated our home as their own. Will definitely book them again!”

Kalihi Valley pet parents share their Rover experiences
We would highly recommend Luke for any pet care needs! He watched our fur baby for over two weeks and we had full confidence that he was well taken care of during our whole trip. Luke was easy to communicate with, clearly loved our dog and our dog loved him, and he took wonderful care of our home as well. We will definitely be repeat clients!

Andrés was awesome! Pawson loved him from the minute he met him. Andrés provided Pawson with plenty of exercise, and he was very attentive to all of Pawson's needs. He also sent regular updates to make sure that I knew how Pawson was doing. We'll definitely be seeing Andrés again!

Sophie was extremely professional and prompt in responding to us and sending pics of our dog while we were on the mainland. She cared for our large Labrador Retriever in our home and did a fantastic job! When we returned he was happy and healthy! We would definitely have her stay again! Mahalo Sophie!!

Claire was outstanding in every way caring for our two large dogs and our home. It was obvious that she genuinely enjoyed being with them, and we couldn't ask for more than that. She was interested and enthusiastic about learning their normal routines, sent us many text, photo and video updates, and also took amazing care of our home and plants. It was such a relief to know that our dogs were so well loved while we were away. She made sure they got all the exercise they're used to, the special dietary needs met, and most of all the cuddles that they crave. We will request her again and again!

I had a great experience with Maggie! She took the time to understand and accommodate my dogs' routine, quirks, and preferences. She responded promptly to all inquiries, and the dogs seemed really happy to be around her. I highly recommend Maggie to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible and kind caregiver!
Christina was a perfect caregiver for my sweet Bella. Bella is a Boxer and is up in age but Christina made sure all of needs were met including making sure she gets her daily medications she needs to keep active and healthy. I was very pleased with Christina’s care for my Bella and I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and responsible caregiver for their fur baby!!!

Brian was wonderful with Romulus, my senior dog, especially while we were traveling and staying somewhere new. He arrived early, communicated clearly, and shared great updates and photos throughout the evening, which I really appreciated as a hands-on pet parent. When the power went out, Brian stayed calm, comforted Romulus, and kept me informed the entire time. His steady presence and care gave me total peace of mind. He’s reliable, kind, and clearly great with senior dogs. I would absolutely book him again and highly recommend him.

Aaron was absolutely fantastic taking care of our three pups. They all looked happy, relaxed, and very content when we came back from our trip. Aaron sent us pictures and gave us updates on how our pups were doing. He even cleaned our home and left us a tub of ice cream in the freezer, which we so appreciated after 24 hours of travel. We would definitely ask Aaron to pet-sit for us if we go on another trip.

I hired Savannah to house sit and take care of my cats while I was on deployment. She was flexible and did everything in her power to assist me and make sure I got what I needed for my pets and home in my absence. I could not be more grateful for her service. She is absolutely the best and I highly recommend her 10/10 score. She is worth every cent you pay for her service. If I need any services in the future, I will most certainly choose her again. 100% satisfaction. House: clean; Cats: fed, watered, and loved. She made sure everything was done immaculately including spending quality time with the cats so they wouldn’t be lonely, kept their bowls clean, and ensured their feeding schedule was upkept and health responsibilities were taken care of. She periodically sent pictures and would always respond to any messages within a few hours.
