About: I have well over 24 years caring for dogs. I believe a house isn't a home without a dog. We (me and my family) lost our dog, Teddy, about 11/2 years ago. It has been very hard living without him. I still look for him at the door whenever I come home. We are still heartbroken from his passing. Someday we hope to find the courage to love again. About: I have experience with a wide variety of dogs, but especially with specials needs, senior, and small and large dogs. My old fur-baby, Jack, was special needs (born with scoliosis) and I did the majority of care for him. He lived to be 17 and a half. I work from home with a relatively flexible schedule. During the weekdays I am available for daycare, pop-ins, walks, and house-sitting. On the weekends I am available for boarding and overnights. I live in an apartment but am very active and can ensure plenty of outside time if desired. My complex also has a large fenced-in dog park area. I have one dog who is very friendly and can keep your dog company and play with. I am available to go to your place as well if prefered.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for family and friends for much of my life but am new to Rover. I have owned my own dog for 5 years now and have learned a ton about having a dog that requires boundaries and maintenance for triggers of his reactivity. I’ve learned patience and am happy to do that for your furry friends as well! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays which gives me the flexibility to leave for drop-in visits throughout the day and after work! Tuesday-Thursdays can also be arranged if your home is near my office - contact me for details! While I’m unable to care for others’ pets in my own home since my pup prefers human friends, I will care for your pet in any way you need in your own home. I prefer homes where I can let your pet out into a fenced yard but am happy to take pets out on a leash if they are leash trained and/or you prepare me for their behavior.
