“Adrianna was super helpful stopping by to check on my cat every morning for the week I was out of town! She sent many updates and photos throughout the booking, and even watered my plants for me. She is a trustworthy sitter, and I will definitely be rebooking in the future!”
“Allison took such great care of my elder ladies! They were happy and calm when I returned home. Older cats do not always handle a change in routine well, so their relaxed state told me a lot about the attention she gave them. I would book Allison again, and I recommend her to anyone who needs a careful sitter for senior pets.”
About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I always loved being around pets, and that passion has stayed with me into adulthood. Over the years, I’ve pet sat for friends and family, caring for their furry family members as if they were my own. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going for walks, playing, giving lots of affection, or simply keeping them company. I’ve missed pet sitting and am excited to get back to doing something I genuinely love. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while their owner is away. If you're looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and who will treat your pets like family, I'd love the opportunity to help. I am currently working full time in a position that works from home. I have flexible hours and would be available most of the day for drop ins. I have two cats of my own that I love with my WHOLE heart. Currently looking to do drop ins as my babies aren’t super comfortable around other pets.
“Gerri went above and beyond for sitting my cats. I had asked her to come earlier than I originally requested....she was happy to help. Cats actually came down after I had left....very unusual. Thank you for doing this for me.”
“Nejra took great care of our 4 cats while we went on vacation. She put our mind at ease by meeting us and our fur babies prior to us leaving. You can tell she loves animals and is very relaxed, knowledgeable, and loving with each visit. During her visit, we received regular updates and photos which reassured us that they were all well cared for. We would absolutely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, loving pet care.”
“Thank you for taking care of our babies!! You did a great job and a fantastic job keeping us up to date hiw Daisy and Kimo was doing!!! They were happy to see us back home. Daisy quickly came to the garage door when she heard us!! And yes you forgot the lunch bag. If you want you can still stop by and pick it up. The alligator Daisy had in the middle of the floor, we don’t recognize it. Where did it come from?”
“Haley is a God‘s blessing to me he is going to help me relieve all the stress and Oreo is gonna have a new friend she’s very flexible and willing to work with my schedule and I’m willing to work with her schedule thank you so much for all you’re doing for me I’ll always make sure you know it”
“Kayla was great! She was friendly and immediately loved on our cat during our initial meet and greet! She was prompt with her drop ins and kept us well informed while we were away! Her report cards were fun to read and she always included great pics to let us know the cat was well taken care of!”
“We were truly lucky to have Dawn as our cat sitter for nine days while we were traveling outside of the US. From the very beginning, it was clear that she genuinely cared for Boogie and Ollie and treated them as if they were her own. She followed all of our detailed instructions carefully and kept us updated, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. I know it can be challenging to care for pets in someone else's home, especially when there are many little routines and preferences to remember, but Dawn did a fantastic job. Our cats were happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we returned home. We sincerely appreciate her help, professionalism, and the kindness she showed to our cats. We would gladly trust her with Boogie and Ollie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”
“Even when we are having our typical terrible Midwest winter weather, Angie makes sure our animals are taken care of, and it is so nice to not have to worry when we can’t make it home.”
About: Hi, I’m Grace! I have experience caring for pets of all temperaments, sizes, and ages, from fur 🐶 to scales 🦎 to feathers 🐓. I grew up around farm animals, have fostered bunnies, and taken care of senior pets and animals with special needs. My favorite part about pet sitting is getting to know your pet and their unique personality🤓 I would love to help provide stress-free care for your pets while you’re away with lots of photos and love like they are my own! ♥️ I’ve had two free-roam bunnies Honey and Bee cross the “rainbow bridge” and currently have an adventure cat named Toad and two of our rescue pups we are training — a Siberian Husky named Simon and a Blue Heeler mix Sage I am free to sit wherever, whenever! I work a full-time job, but I have a flexible schedule and am open to changes according to your needs :) I am a tidy and attentive sitter that will make sure to follow directions closely. My goal is to give the best care for your pet while you’re away!
About: I grew up with 2 dogs! I raised my Snickerdoodle since she was a newborn puppy and taught her all sorts of tricks. I also own one cat and am very used to the lifestyle and care for both dogs and cats. I grew up around dogs and have been lacking doggy time since moving into an apartment and having to leave my childhood dogs with my parents so I'm hoping to be able to fill that hole in my heart by helping others dogs in the community! I am currently working full time from 8:45 to 5:08 but anytime before or afterwards during the weekday I would be available! I am also entirely available every single weekend! I have owned dogs my entire life growing up and am very accustomed to them! I also currently own a cat and have also grown very accustomed to that lifestyle!
“Cass is someone who loves your pet like they are her own. She sent so many pictures and was sure to communicate daily. She is trustworthy in your home and with the most important members of your family. Thor and Loki can’t wait to have her back.”
About: My ability to love animals is a gift that I want to share with others. I have had a dog, hamster, ducks and a cat and all are the most happy animals I have met. I go above and beyond to make them all comfortable and feel loved! I currently am blessed to have a senior lab, Cokie! She is truly my soul dog and my best friend. I take care of her everyday. I also help with my neighbors, family and friends pets! I respect the household of others, if you give me rules they will be followed. Along with basic common sense of what is/isn’t ok in someone else’s home. When I have a pet over to my house, they are respected and treated just like a human guest

“Jen took very good care of our 2 cats with her drop in visits twice a day. One of our cats is diabetic so she has to be fed 12 hours a part and given an injection after the feedings each time. We asked her with very short lead time and she took the time to come to our house so we could meet her and she could meet our cats before the booking. We appreciated this very much.”
“Noel did a great job and followed all the instructions for our little old man cat and was very respectful of his shyness. We greatly appreciate the care towards our senior cat.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
