“Madeline was absolutely phenomenal; super communicative, sent me updates of how things were going, and friendly. Most importantly, my dog was well taken care of and had a great time. Madeline truly went above and beyond in every way possible.”

“Katherine is the best dog sitter we have ever had. She connected with our dog Peanut immediately. We felt very comfortable leaving Peanut with her. Katherine consistently updated us with pictures and information about our precious dog on a daily basis. It helped make our vacation special, knowing that our dog Peanut was in great hands. I will definitely use her again. She deserves a 5 star rating.”

“Sierra was simply amazing! She was actively playing with our pups and making them feel comfortable while we were out of town. She followed all the instructions left and even went above and beyond. She would always send pictures and videos of the pups which I am grateful for since I was missing them. Great communication and responded promptly. I’ve had a few sitters on Rover and Sierra was by far the best! 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I really didn’t think I would be able to find anyone who would agree to take care of our very fearful golden Sadie. Nikki took the time to get to know her and is un phased by her barking. She was wonderful at staying in touch during our recent vacation which really helped ease my mind. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.”

“Sarah was wonderful! Our dog has anxiety and takes time to warm up to strangers, but he wanted pets from her within minutes of them meeting. She was very understanding and patient with him, given the anxiety. Knowing Sarah was with him gave us peace of mind so we could enjoy our time away. Thank you so much Sarah for taking such great care of our boy!!”

“Michael watched our dog at our home for a week. He was very responsible and kept us informed when our dog started having behavioral issues. Michael was so patient while our dog was getting used to having a new sitter and us being gone. He tried different ways to get him to eat his food and take his medications. We were so thankful to have someone we trusted while we were away.”

“Pj took such good care of our baby for a whole week and we booked her last minute. She was extremely accommodating and our dog warmed up to her quick. We certainly felt like he was taken care of and in good hands while we were away!”

“Aryanna took care of our dog and cat while we were out of town for a week. She did a wonderful job! She was very thoughtful and attentive to the pets, and kept us updated on how they were doing. I highly recommend her as a house and pet sitter!”

“This was Captain’s first time with Yolanda. She took care of him in our home for two days. Cap can be a handful because he’s reactive to dogs and cars. She did a great job of anticipating issues and redirecting his attention. Overall, Yolanda was very professional, gave us updates and photos twice a day and responded quickly whenever we tried to contact her. We’ll be happy to have her take care of him again.”

“Emily was great. She made sure to have the important information before we left. She also provided updates, with pics, each day. I recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter and look forward to requesting her services in the future.”

“We’re so grateful to have had Fennel looking after Lucy. They were incredibly attentive and responsive throughout the entire time, and their updates gave us such peace of mind. The photos they sent were lovely—Lucy looked so content, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It meant the world to be able to leave the house knowing Lucy was in such good hands. We highly recommend Fennel to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and truly caring sitter—they’re truly the best!”

“Ray was a great sitter for my weeklong trip. He followed all instructions and was very communicative. He kept me updated with pictures the entire time. I HIGHLY recommend, thanks Ray!”

“From our first video meet and greet, to our in-person introductions, we felt such good vibes from Grace. When she entered the house, she did so very gingerly, then sat on the floor to let the cats and dogs "investigate" her in their own time. She took wonderful care of our 2 dogs and 2 cats, sending plenty of photos and updates. Our cat Katara and our dog Koda, quickly took to Grace and they all became cuddle buddies right away. By the 4th day, all the furbabies were getting their cuddles on with her. One of our cats is on anxiety meds and hates it. So Grace had to administer her meds and also had to deal with our cat marking outside of her litterbox. Grace was unfazed and handled it with a great sense of humor. Thank you so much Grace for taking such wonderful care of our furbabies!!!!!”

“Sarah house sat for us and took care of our 2 dogs for a week. Everything was great and the dogs loved her. Our one dog is a picky eater and Sarah took extra care to try and help him eat. We look forward to using her again in the future.”

About: Growing up on a farm, care for dogs, cats, and other beloved animals is second nature. I was raised caring for the farm, worked in a dog kennel, have rescued two cats, and have dog sat, cat sat, and house sat for many friends over the years. I help my family with their three large dogs and my sister with her pitmix rescue, so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and I love cats. I work in the Hanover area, and my schedule allows for flexible mornings, a break in the afternoon, and available evenings. I am able to reliably care for pets in the morning and evenings and ensure a midday bathroom break Monday-Friday. I am available closer to Severna Park on weekends. I think quality time is imperative for our pets, so I make sure that they have plenty of time with me when their owners are away and prioritize their playtime and enrichment. For dogs, this means walks, playing with toys, or just hanging out (whatever your best friend prefers)! For cats, I reasonably lean in to their zoomies when they arise to help work off any energy, and then give them their space when they need it. I understand that everyone has different philosophies and concerns regarding their pets' care, and I make sure that my care matches the guidelines you have for your pet so their routine and care stays consistent even while you are away.

About: i have lived with pets my whole life both cats and large dogs. currently we only have cats but I feel comfortable taking care of low maintenance dogs as well. i live in a house with multiple cat and have primary responsibility for some of them including litter box cleaning, grooming, feeding, watering, all basic needs. I have established routines for meeting these needs on a regular basis. I have also lived with dogs in the past and have basic care knowledge on them as well When boarding cats i will provide a separate quiet space to allow for both interaction and privacy. When caring for pets in your home I will try to mimic your routines as much as possible although that isn't always possible.

“Pheben stayed at our house to take care of our dog and two cats. She did a wonderful job, especially given our high energy pup is a bit needy. Pets were well taken care of and the house was in great shape when we returned. We will definitely be asking Pheben back when we travel next!”

Paige S.
“When you're looking for someone who understands the responsibility that comes with taking care of animals, it's pretty hard to beat someone who grew up on a farm. I've had her take care of my dogs every time my wife and I have gone out of town for the last two years and have never been concerned about the big fluffers (after the first time went smoothly at least). She has been happy to work with all of our "special" feeding instructions. One of our dogs was very overweight when we adopted him so we have had him on a strict diet to get him healthy and she didn't flinch at all of the extra food instructions we left. I hate leaving the dogs behind, but they get so excited when they see her that I'm pretty sure they view it as a vacation too. 11/10 stars. Just don't book her when I need her watch my dogs :)”

Mason L.
“Mason has helped us immensely with bringing in foster and foster-to-adopt cats and kittens. He is gentle, patient, understanding, and intuitive to what the cats need. He is a great handler and truly meets each cat where they are with what they need. He can be trusted with administering medication and staying on schedule with feedings.”

Pheben M.
