“My cats loved Nina! That was what made me decide to hire her for the job. My female cat didn’t act up like she would when her normal routine was disrupted. My male cat adored her, too. Nina was an absolute joy to work with.”
“Yesenia was amazing! She did two drops in a day for our cat and dog, proving amazing updates every time! We felt at ease knowing our animals got the proper attention while we were out of town. Definitely will be going through her again on our next trip!”

“Morgan was great! It was my first time leaving my diabetic cat since he had been diagnosed and she knew just how to care for him even when he was being grumpy and hiding under the bed. She kept in contact each visit and made me feel super comfortable leaving them with her. Will definitely ask her to care of them in the future! ❤️”

“Sophia was so kind to my dogs and took great care of them while I was away. She was very patient with my shy dog and took the time to let her get comfortable. She is an excellent communicator and sent me plenty of pictures, which I loved. I would absolutely recommend her and plan on booking her again soon.”
“Karsyn came over for a meet and greet. She was so friendly, bubbly and positive. Giovanni took to her and was very interested in her and had an immediate connection. On each of her visits, Karsyn sent me videos and photos. They showed her playing and giving belly rubs to Giovanni. He looked happy with his playtime. Karsyn did a great job and I would highly recommend her!!”

About: Hello there! My name is Natalie. I recently reopened my Rover account after being on an hiatus for the past few years. We’ve been living in some beautiful but remote parts of the southwest so there wasn’t much need or use for Rover in our lives. I am open to caring for ALL KINDS of fur babies!.. we’ve traveled quite a bit with our pets and know the struggle of finding a safe and dependable sitter! I've had all kinds of animals growing up. Everything from ducks and goats to birds, hamsters, cats & dogs! We recently lost our 15 year old dachshund. I treated my dog as well as I'd treat a human child. As you can probably imagine, I’m missing her a ton and looking for some furry affection to fill my time. She had a specific diet and was sick towards the end so I’m very familiar with special needs/senior care and administering medication. My professional animal experiences includes volunteering for P.A.W.S., where I assisted in raising abandoned new born kittens. Many times they'd still have umbilical cords and their eyes hadn't yet opened. I also worked as a receptionist at an emergency vet as one of my first jobs. Working with animals is extremely rewarding! I’m great with small animals. I’m probably the only 40 year old you know with traveling gerbils! Reach out if you need any assistance with small furry exotics. I’m currently a seasonal worker in Moab, Utah. I recently quit my full-time job to focus on having some fun for hiking season. I’m still working part-time and would love to meet you and your furry pet. In the past I’ve spent a lot of time working overnights in the homes of repeat clients. I am comfortable in your home or your hotel while you’re out exploring this beautiful area. Go for a hike in the park and know that your fur-baby is being well cared for.
About: Dogs have been in my life since I was a little girl! we always had tons of animals growing up and I was always the one dog sitting for my neighbors and family member as a teenager. Now I’m a stay at home mom and still take care of the dogs in my neighborhood, just like when I was little. I love all dogs so much, I’m also very active and love to play with them! Your dog will be very well taken care of while on my home, I will go for walks, potty breaks, fetch, anything they’d like to do and also lots of loves and snuggles while at home, I promised you won’t be disappointed!! I’m also very comfortable administering medications or tailored to any personal needs for your dog. I’m currently a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty flexible, and also when I’m dog sitting I make sure I’m home the whole time, I don’t leave dogs alone. I have a fenced yard and also there’s tons of trails around our neighborhood that we walk daily, also my golden retriever is extremely friendly and will love to have a companion.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats, but mostly dogs my entire life. I grew up with Dachshunds, but equally love big dogs. All of my dogs have been rescues. I have been dog sitting for over 15 years. My last experience was taking care of a 100 lb German Shepherd Luda, in Thailand for 8 months. I taught her to overcome her fear of water and even how to rescue drowned swimmers. I lived in the jungle at the owners home, on an island, and cared for her night and day, trained her to be around people, and much more. I also took care of many other dogs on that island, from puppies to elder doggos. I have experience administering medication to dogs and cats, including insulin shots. I am a certified emergency first responder trainer, therefore safety is always number one in my mind. Animals are one of my greatest passions in life. I strive to go above and beyond and take my role as caretaker extremely seriously. I look forward to loving your buddy or buddette like they were my own. I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule. I would love to have longterm clients and a consistent schedule, but I am equally flexible. I will be traveling to your home and will go above and beyond to give your dog an abundance of love, excercise, cuddles, or whatever they require.
“Cassady was the best! Text us in the morning to confirm we were still on for our appointment today. She was on time and the dogs loved her! We can’t wait to use Cassady again. It puts our mind at ease when we are looking for help with our fur babies. Would recommend her to anyone.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 14 years of age. This also includes fish and exotic pet care (birds and rodents)! I currently work part-time, and so I am available most evenings and weekends. I can even petsit during holidays as I am often free. This fits my schedule as I just have a bit too much free time than I think necessary. I have a fenced yard for my husky and my roommate's dog. I have two cats of my own that I clean their litter weekly. Feed and give water to them daily. I often hang around my cats in the office while I am working, and we snuggle when it's bedtime. As for dogs, when my husky was a puppy I taught her how to sit and laydown, take her out for walks currently and do play with her. She's spoiled with treats.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10 years old. I have experience administering meds, walks, feeding, baths, playtime & most importantly love & attention. I’m available 24/7. I can work around your schedule, I am very flexible. I am more than happy to help in any way i possibly can. I will make sure to provide fresh water, walks, food, cleaning, play time and make sure your pets are getting the attention they need at all times.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,108 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Jean. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jean. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
