“Valeri is the absolutely best!! I was so fortunate to have found her to walk my fur baby when I am busy or away!! She its amazing with my dog who can be a bit nervous. I trust no one else to take care of him! Highly recommend!!!”

About: I'm 63 and you can call me Frank! I have had and loved dogs since I was a kid. Okay, mom and dad did most of the work back then, but from my teenage years on I've housebroken and helped raise three of my dad's chihuahua's, the last of which we adopted when he passed ten years ago. She is still with us, along with my daughter's dog who also lives with us now! Also, my son's chihuahua puppy visits every two weeks or so! We are all very diligent with getting them on schedules, fed, walked and played-with regularly. My dad's almost 14 year old chihuahua still plays with the puppy, that tell you something? My pictures show a couple shots of our dogs on vacation with us in Gettysburg- they've also been to Canada, Ocean City, NJ and Lake Glory in the past ten years! We lost the Sheltie, Bella, in January but she had a great life, also pictured! We also had a Tabby named Stanley for 16 years, so I'm cat-friendly too! Your pet will have a great time and be spoiled a bit, whether I'm stopping by for a short stay or sticking around for a while! Of course, your rules first, so just let me know what you need and I'll do the rest! I'm currently driving with Lyft, but really want to scale back the driving and use my flexible schedule constructively by making some of my favorite animals happy! We have a fully-fenced yard in which the dogs love to run, 1100 square feet inside and basically all doggies are treated like family! They are fed dog food only, and just a light treat or two during the day, also dog-related, not "people food" treats. Plain, boiled chicken is the only exception, with white rice if there's an upset belly!. They are bathed monthly in the summer, and brushed randomly, though my daughter's dog has very short hair. I have also stayed at the homes of several individuals to care for their pets, a few of whom should be submitting testimonials shortly, if they haven't already!

“Jessica is great! She is very personable and has a great personality. I also Loved the pictures she sent of my fur baby during her walk. Definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a dog walker/sitter.”

About: I have 20 years of dog experience and I volunteer with a local rescue as well! Dogs are my passion and I love them so much! Because of my small stature (4'11"), I don't handle dogs bigger than 75lbs. Thank you for your understanding. I also only walk on the weekdays, weekends are reserved for my family. I currently work from home so my dog walking schedule can be very flexible. I'm available most hours of the day between 11am and 3pm! I have a fenced yard and a great neighborhood for walking! My resident dog is friendly and on the bigger side so she is a great walking buddy.

“Elisa has been walking our two shih tzus, for almost 6 months, now. She is dependable and easy to contact. Our dogs are so calm after their morning walks. Elisa is an excellent dog walker with lots of love for all the animals. We are so happy with her.”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life - from high-maintenance Yorkies to big-hearted Rottweilers, so you could say I don't get thrown off too easily. Puppies, seniors, rescues, anxious or reactive pups - I've probably seen it, or something close to it. What makes me different is how seriously I take your pet's comfort and emotional well-being. I pay attention to their behavior, adjust my energy to meet theirs, and treat them the way I'd want someone to treat my own - with consistency, patience, and a little extra love. Whether it's following a strict routine or adapting to a new one, I bring calm, experience, and a real love for animals. Pet care is a natural part of my life. Right now I'm in between roles so have a ton of bandwidth and flexibility. I have two dogs of my own and start every day with a walk and time outside. I'll always make time for your pet the same way I do for mine - no matter what is going on. Whether it's early mornings, midday check-ins, or evening walks, this is something I want to be doing and will always prioritize. I treat your space and your pet with the same respect I'd expect if roles were reversed. I follow care instructions to a T - feeding, meds, routines, energy levels, everything - and I'm always checking in to make sure your dog feels safe and secure. We don't cut corners here. If I'm walking them, there's no phones and I'm present. If I'm staying in your home, I'll leave it as clean (or cleaner) than I found it. And if you need someone to just stop in and show your pup some love while you're away, I'm your person.

About: I have loved dogs my entire life, and I have been caring for others' pets for about five years now. I love caring for dogs in all ways. I have done a few pet-sitting gigs for friends and clients alike, and I enjoy getting to know dogs of every age, size, and breed! I am a teacher, so I am off for the summer. I am available during the week most weeks to care for your dogs. I am an early riser and can be a night owl if needed later in the evenings. I am not available on weekends. I have always had a German Shepherd in my family, so I am very used to working with large breeds. I also have friends and family with small, medium, and large sized dogs whom I'm very good with and have watched/taken care of before. I can crate dogs if needed. I have experience with training and look forward to learning the commands you use to communicate with your dog. I am a respectful person who will make sure your dog is fully taken care of to the best of my ability.

About: Me and my family have been around dachshunds for over 10 years. A little biased, but would love to share the love to other dogs! I currently work from home and take my dog out regularly throughout the day. She gets breakfast and dinner and her monthly medications. She gets too much attention, but that’s our fault:) I have a back fenced in porch that I have a grassy area for my dog to relieve herself, as well as an unfenced front yard. If the front yard were to be used, we keep our dog on the leash for safety. Our stairs are gated to prevent any injuries.

I have a large crate in my kitchen area if I need to use that for any reason.

Francis L.
“For as long as I have known Frank he has always been a true animal lover. He has always had 2 to 3 dogs of his own and we have used him to help take care of our two dogs when we were away. He is extremely patient and loving with our dogs. We have two rescues and one of them had a bad life before we got her. She is always wary of people who are not a part of her regular life. Frank always takes the time and patience to make her feel comfortable every time she re-meets him. He has even earned the coveted “kiss” of acceptance from her! Frank takes extra special care to make sure our dogs were exercised and cared for, treating them like his own. We would highly recommend him to any other pet owner.”

Her daily updates and photos kept me at ease, knowing that my cat was in reliable hands. Maria did more than just fulfill her duties; she formed a genuine connection with my cat, which was evident from his reaction to her. I highly recommend Maria as a responsible and loving pet sitter whom you can trust with your most precious companions.”

Justin C.

There have been numerous times where people will say their pet is not good with men and yet Justin always seems to be the exception. Rachel D.
“Rachel is a well respected animal lover. She has a passion for animals and truly cares for them and their well being. She will be a great care giver.”

Jodie W.
“Jodie is the best cat sitter we ever had. She took great care of our kitties while we were away. Jodie not only keeps the litter clean and cats fed, she also groom them and play with them so they wouldn't be bored or gain weight due to lack of exercise. We trust to leave our kitten with Jodie. The longest period we left our kitties home only was 3 weeks and they looked so cheerful and healthy when we return. She herself is such a caring and loving lady and she is also very good with puppies. Her two dogs are always cheerful. I can tell they are very happy with their loving family. I highly endorse Jodie.”

Brianna S.
“Choosing Brianna to help take care of my dog was one of the best choices that I have made for him. Brianna treats my dog like a member of her family. My dog runs up to her and greets her at the door with a wagging tail every time she comes over. Brianna feeds him, administers his medication and ensures that he actually takes it, takes him on walks, and plays with him. Brianna goes above and beyond what is asked of her. She even updates me on how my dog is doing. Brianna is going to school for her veterinary technician degree. It makes me feel so much better that she is trained in emergency situations if they were to arise.”
