“Our boys had the absolute best time with Thi. They were spoiled beyond belief I didn’t think they’d want to come home. Thank you for being amazing with our boys!”

“Dana took very good care of Buddy. She sent me pictures to show he was doing good. Buddy is diabetic, he is a very picky eater right now. Not only did Dana help with his shots but she even found food that he will eat. I will take Buddy to Dana for as long as she is dog sitting.”

“Wendy was amazing in the care of our 2 elderly boxers. They were loved and cared for, as if it were by us. She was great in giving updates on the dogs, and giving medication at specific times. Was able to enjoy my trip, knowing they were in great hands.”

“Our bluebell loves visiting Ms. Ashley. They have a spacious yard for all the running and games! They treat our pup like family and trust that she is loved and well cared for while we are away.”

“Sarah is a ROCKSTAR!! This was the first time we've ever left our baby, Xena with anyone, but sadly they wouldn't let her on our week long cruise. However, Sarah calmed our anxiety in many ways because we knew she was in good hands. She met up with us at the dog park and let Xena get acquainted and comfy with Shadow and Louey. She sent me pics and videos of Xena throughout the week which warmed my heart. She and her pups treated Xena as one of the gang. I thought I'd have been much more anxious but Sarah knew just what to do to help. We don't travel often but if we do, I know who I'm coming back to! Thanks Sarah, youre the best!!!”

“Lori was great with Trooper. Normally, Trooper is shy, but Trooper became a friend with Lori and enjoyed his time with her. I highly recommend her and I’ll be referring her and River to my friends.”

“Leaving Frida with someone new always makes me a bit nervous, but Ruby and her partner gave me peace of mind from the very first minute. They were super attentive, caring, and you can instantly tell how much they love animals. Frida came home happy. Thank you so much for taking such great care of her!”

About: Hi! We're Ashley and Chantelle, a dependable animal-loving couple who treats every pet like family. One of the biggest benefits of booking with us is that Ashley works from home, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. We're also proud pet parents to two dogs of our own—Mylo, who is 8 years old, and Rose, who is 3. Caring for them every day has given us firsthand experience with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and the love and attention dogs need to thrive. We enjoy staying active and providing walks, playtime, belly rubs, and lots of affection. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or senior, we'll follow their routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. We believe in reliable communication and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in good hands. We believe pets are family. Unless requested by the owner, dogs are not kenneled and are free to relax, play, and enjoy our home just like our own dogs, Mylo and Rose. We look forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. Ashley works from home, so pets are supervised and cared for throughout the day with plenty of attention, potty breaks, companionship, feeding, walks, and playtime. After Chantelle gets off work, we continue walks, play, and care together, making sure pets receive consistent love, structure, and attention throughout the day. We prioritize safety, trust, and a calm, pet-friendly environment. At our home, we have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and supervised play. Pets in our care are treated like family and are never left unattended during outdoor time. We maintain a clean, comfortable space where pets can relax and feel at ease. Dog daycare is also available in our home with plenty of supervision, attention, and care throughout the day.

“We left our 12 week old bernedoodle with Synamon and Christopher for a weekend and were super nervous about leaving him for the first time but they did a great job and kept us up to date with pictures and he came home so happy and sleepy. ?”

“Dottie is very hesitant around new people so I was anxious. Angela was very patient with Dottie and before I knew it Dottie felt comfortable. Angela kept in touch with pictures and videos of Dottie. I will be using Angela again.”

“This was my second time using Vivian’s services, and once again it was a great experience! Lily enjoyed her stay with Vivian and her son and I received pictures and updates throughout!”

About: After a box of puppies left outside my house 15 years ago, I decided I wanted to change my career from accounting to the caring of animals. I started very small volunteering in a couple Humane Societies and followed it with my education and work to become an Elite Certified Fear Free Technician. My dedication and love for animals with an approach with the least fear, anxiety and stress is what I feel makes me succeed doing what I love. As a veterinary technician, I also offer administration of any kind of medications and treatments your pet's veterinarian prescribed. I can help you with large animals too. I an owner of 2 miniature donkeys I know how hard is to find someone to feed them. I do rodents and birds. Please, just let me know how I can help you. I am a Veterinary technician and I combine relieving nurses at different clinics, independent veterinarians, house call nurse services, boarding, grooming and pet sitting. I manage my schedule depending on my patients and clients need. Safety is my number one priority. I make sure your pets have safe boardings and walks. When board at my house, they get to be like one of my own. They can be in my couch, play with my dog Kraft and sleep with one of us in the house (if allowed by owners). When I pet sit them at their home, I try to make them feels that they are not alone, playing, socializing and giving them lots of love and patience.
“Abbey loved our girls and made them family while they were there. We have 2 sister Snorkies who are very spoiled and since Covid we have not left them with anyone. We decided that we wanted to start traveling again and we found Abbey close to the cruise ports of Galveston, we went down early for a meet and greet and then the next day dropped them off and they were totally comfortable with her. She sent multiple messages with pictures and gave daily updates which we were so happy to receive. We have already told her that the girls will be back for sure. Thank you Abbey for loving the girls!!”

“Kristen was able to watch my dog on a very short notice. Very easy to coordinate drop off and pick up. My dog had a blast and I got plenty of videos and photos while she was there. 10/10 would book again. Thank you!”

“Timothy was great with the dogs! I late picking them up because I was out of town and someone else was driving so I wasn't able to get back as quickly as I'd thought. Timothy responded quickly when I let him know and we rescheduled for a later time. When I picked them up they were happy and smelled great.”
“Heidi was excellent. She treated Gizmo like we was in his own home. They went for walks, played and in general she let Gizmo feel safe and secure as if he was home. Thank you Heidi as we were so worried to leave him for that many days.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
