About: I am new to Rover, but have taken care of animals, big and small, all my life, and hope to grow my Rover profile at the same time I build my career as a recently-graduated archaeology Ph.D. student. I fully believe that our pets are parts of our family, and they deserve to be cared for that way. Our pets are just one part of our lives, but we are their whole lives, and I believe that is a gift, and means that taking care of pets is an honor. I grew up with dogs, cats, and even the occasional snake or two, and am familiar with animals at every stage of life. I am also used to a wide variety of energy levels and sizes, and have cared for small dogs, big dogs, house hippos, and tiny tornadoes (I also recognize that sometimes tiny tornadoes come in cat-form). I am very comfortable walking and playing with large, energetic dogs, and can provide them all the stimulation and engagement that they need. I am also familiar with the unique needs of cats, and have never had a period in my life when I did not have at least one cat as a pet. I am completely at ease with litter box care, playtime, and snuggle time. I am also very comfortable caring for geriatric animals, and animals that require medication. Throughout my life, I have cared for many pets, both cats and dogs, at the end of their lives, and even currently have a 20+ year old cat that requires some extra attention. I understand that older animals are special cases, and they deserve all the attention and care we can give them in their twilight years. I will care for your animals like my own, and will love the opportunity to make a new furry friend! I am currently an adjunct professor, and I have my own archaeological nonprofit, but this means my schedule is mostly up to me. This gives me ample time to spend with your pets, as well as flexibility to fit into your schedule. I will care for your animals in your home according to their routine and your expectations. I understand how important routine is, and how important environment is for pets to feel safe and secure.
About: I can take care of multiple pets from all sizes and ages! I will try my best to give them the best experiences and love! I do work long shifts with a slight inconsistent schedule. About: I am a well experienced vet nurse now in undergrad with high hopes for med school! I've been a dog trainer all the way up to ICU nurse. I can handle most any situation so you can leave your home and your babies comfortably with me! I'm going to school online on a self paced basis so pet care is a perfect fit for me and my schedule. My 86 year old neighbor loves my 1 year old miniature poodle Boseman and loves her little farm so long stays away are okay with the both of us. My poodle Boseman has free range of my place but is also fully kennel trained if need be (used when I worked long hospital hours). He gets walks around our pond or goes next door with my neighbor's 50+ chickens, 2 cats, and 3 dogs. He gets fed twice a day and plenty of treats (super high metabolism lol).
About: I’m in my mid 30s and been responsible for at least one pet since I was about 8. I love all animals and have personally had cats, dogs and fish. I graduated from A&M Galveston with a degree in Marine Biology and am currently working with marine mammals. I have experience in dog and cat training, this includes harness/leash and behavioral.
