About: I have cared for all ages of dogs, including my own senior dog. I am detail-oriented and can accommodate many requests, including sending all the cutest update pictures! I do not have a dog of my own right now but miss them and would love to come work with yours. I am a graduate student right now with classes that are mainly in the morning, so I have most of the rest of my days free to schedule any needs you and your fur baby may need. I work remotely in the afternoons so I would be able to spend as much time as necessary with your pet. I have multiple bedrooms if your pet needs its own space to relax, or they can roam freely at my home or yours. I know being away from your pet can be anxiety educing, so whatever you need to feel comfortable, I want to help.

About: Hi there! My name is Haylie and I’m a nursing student at UTMB. I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of nine amazing pups of all different breeds and sizes. Taking care of them every day has given me tons of experience with all kinds of personalities, routines, and special needs. I truly love spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, loved, and well cared for. Since I was unable to bring my dogs to school with me, I’d love to help take care of others! About: I have two dogs of my own and I love them both so much! I volunteered at a local dog shelter, where I gained hands on experience working with dogs of all sizes! I have taken care of smaller dogs, bigger dogs, and older dogs before. No matter the size I’m happy to help! About: Growing up, my home was filled with animals of all kinds from small to large dogs including Dachshund, Husky, and medium to large mixed breed dogs, as well as an outdoor cat, fish, hermit crabs, lizards, and birds. I have been a lifelong animal caretaker and feel very comfortable with a wide range of species and temperaments. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my cockatiel who lived to be over 14 1/2 years old under my care. In my teens, I also trained in horseback riding and learned foundational horse care. Currently, I provide consistent care for a senior 19 year old dog in my home alongside a younger high energy Dachshund. This includes separation anxiety, reactivity including leash or sound, fear responses, or any sensitivities. These details allow me to provide the highest level of tailored care. Rates listed are general starting estimates and may vary depending on level of care required, number of pets, schedule, and travel distance. Premium or extended care needs including last minute bookings, extended radius travel, or continuous supervision up to about 8 hours can be accommodated and quoted based on your specific situation. My current schedule is pretty flexible. For drop-ins I'm typically available after 8 am until 9 pm in the evenings. I can do drop ins, walks, and/or doggy day/night sitting. I am happy to give your animals my undivided attention as I walk them or play with them at your residence. I'm very clean, considerate, and attuned to animals. I stay highly communicative and am happy to take lots of photos for updates.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life! My personality has grown around my love for animals and I know I would not be the person I am today without the unconditional love of animals. I have never not owned a pet, I love taking care of them and showing my love! I love all animals and am super comfortable around every kind. Friends can always rely on me to take care of their pets when they’re away, no problem! I just graduated in May from UT and am taking the summer off of work to have fun! I have a very open schedule and can be very flexible to take care of pets. I understand the need for the upmost care for your pets, considering I would want the same as well. About: I specialize in high maintenance furbabies. Whether you have a puppy that needs extra attention to reinforce training, a senior that needs a soft touch, or they are somewhere in the middle with regular separation anxiety, I will keep your pup on their routine and feeling secure until your return! I work from home part-time so I'm able to accommodate your dog's typical schedule. There are no other pets or children in the home competing for attention. I am able to truly enjoy my time with each pup. I have a fenced in backyard, but if there is a risk your pet will dig or jump , I will keep your explorer on a leash when we are outdoors. Generally, I avoid socializing dogs while in my care.

About: I have always loved dogs! I grew up with a king charles as my family dog. I now have a 3 year old golden retriever. I have worked with many trainers (classes and private) and feel confident in my dog training skills. I am informed on dog behaviors and signals. I care deeply about making sure a dog is comfortable and happy! I am currently in school where I have class for half a day, Monday - Thursday. This means I home quite a bit. My boyfriend is also in school, and he has close to an opposite schedule where he is gone in the afternoons but home in the morning. Our dog is rarely left for more than 2 hours by herself. We have a fenced in backyard. We have a golden retriever and super friendly cat to keep furbabies company. Both of them are good with other cats and dogs. We have plenty of dog toys, balls, ropes, frisbees, anything you could imagine. Our animals are welcome on our furniture with us, so lots of time for snuggles.

About: I am new to Rover, but have taken care of animals, big and small, all my life, and hope to grow my Rover profile at the same time I build my career as a recently-graduated archaeology Ph.D. student. I fully believe that our pets are parts of our family, and they deserve to be cared for that way. Our pets are just one part of our lives, but we are their whole lives, and I believe that is a gift, and means that taking care of pets is an honor. I grew up with dogs, cats, and even the occasional snake or two, and am familiar with animals at every stage of life. I am also used to a wide variety of energy levels and sizes, and have cared for small dogs, big dogs, house hippos, and tiny tornadoes (I also recognize that sometimes tiny tornadoes come in cat-form). I am very comfortable walking and playing with large, energetic dogs, and can provide them all the stimulation and engagement that they need. I am also familiar with the unique needs of cats, and have never had a period in my life when I did not have at least one cat as a pet. I am completely at ease with litter box care, playtime, and snuggle time. I am also very comfortable caring for geriatric animals, and animals that require medication. Throughout my life, I have cared for many pets, both cats and dogs, at the end of their lives, and even currently have a 20+ year old cat that requires some extra attention. I understand that older animals are special cases, and they deserve all the attention and care we can give them in their twilight years. I will care for your animals like my own, and will love the opportunity to make a new furry friend! I am currently an adjunct professor, and I have my own archaeological nonprofit, but this means my schedule is mostly up to me. This gives me ample time to spend with your pets, as well as flexibility to fit into your schedule. I will care for your animals in your home according to their routine and your expectations. I understand how important routine is, and how important environment is for pets to feel safe and secure.

About: I grew up caring for my own cats and dogs and have also enjoyed being entrusted to care for the fur babies of others when they’re unable to. This has included general companionship, playtime, walks, feeding, and administering oral medications. I have experience with breeds of all sizes and ages, but do especially well with smaller breeds. A free 15-minute meet & greet is required for first-time clients. I prefer to care for pets in the client’s home; however, if a visit to my home is necessary for periods of time longer than an hour, it is recommended that the client provide materials like food, leash, toys, pet bed, and a carrier/crate, if used.
