About: Hi there! My name is Haylie and I’m a nursing student at UTMB. I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of nine amazing pups of all different breeds and sizes. Taking care of them every day has given me tons of experience with all kinds of personalities, routines, and special needs. I truly love spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, loved, and well cared for. Since I was unable to bring my dogs to school with me, I’d love to help take care of others! About: I have cared for all ages of dogs, including my own senior dog. I am detail-oriented and can accommodate many requests, including sending all the cutest update pictures! I do not have a dog of my own right now but miss them and would love to come work with yours. I am a graduate student right now with classes that are mainly in the morning, so I have most of the rest of my days free to schedule any needs you and your fur baby may need. I work remotely in the afternoons so I would be able to spend as much time as necessary with your pet. I have multiple bedrooms if your pet needs its own space to relax, or they can roam freely at my home or yours. I know being away from your pet can be anxiety educing, so whatever you need to feel comfortable, I want to help.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. We had two great danes and would baby sit any type of dog from Dotson, pit bulls, mastiffs, poodles, labs, shepherds, and many more. In the last 10 years I have been a lot more involved with handling and training of the dogs we have and baby sit. As well, I have experience with cats, fish, and birds. Needles to say, there is very little I don't feel comfortable taking care of. My days are very open and flexible . I go to college from 10:00am to 12:00am mon-thurs. Other than school I have a very flexible schedule. Any animal I take care of I will show the attention and care I would give to my 11 year old great dane. Not only will they get attentive care but all the fun they could wish for.

About: I am new to Rover, but have taken care of animals, big and small, all my life, and hope to grow my Rover profile at the same time I build my career as a recently-graduated archaeology Ph.D. student. I fully believe that our pets are parts of our family, and they deserve to be cared for that way. Our pets are just one part of our lives, but we are their whole lives, and I believe that is a gift, and means that taking care of pets is an honor. I grew up with dogs, cats, and even the occasional snake or two, and am familiar with animals at every stage of life. I am also used to a wide variety of energy levels and sizes, and have cared for small dogs, big dogs, house hippos, and tiny tornadoes (I also recognize that sometimes tiny tornadoes come in cat-form). I am very comfortable walking and playing with large, energetic dogs, and can provide them all the stimulation and engagement that they need. I am also familiar with the unique needs of cats, and have never had a period in my life when I did not have at least one cat as a pet. I am completely at ease with litter box care, playtime, and snuggle time. I am also very comfortable caring for geriatric animals, and animals that require medication. Throughout my life, I have cared for many pets, both cats and dogs, at the end of their lives, and even currently have a 20+ year old cat that requires some extra attention. I understand that older animals are special cases, and they deserve all the attention and care we can give them in their twilight years. I will care for your animals like my own, and will love the opportunity to make a new furry friend! I am currently an adjunct professor, and I have my own archaeological nonprofit, but this means my schedule is mostly up to me. This gives me ample time to spend with your pets, as well as flexibility to fit into your schedule. I will care for your animals in your home according to their routine and your expectations. I understand how important routine is, and how important environment is for pets to feel safe and secure.

About: I have two dogs of my own and I love them both so much! I volunteered at a local dog shelter, where I gained hands on experience working with dogs of all sizes! I have taken care of smaller dogs, bigger dogs, and older dogs before. No matter the size I’m happy to help! About: I’ve taken care of many types of dogs, from small to very large. I have experience with senior dogs and raised my own dog as a puppy. I can give medications as needed and live an active lifestyle so walks are a breeze! I’d love to help with your fur babies (also have cat, guinea pig, and chicken experience). Overnights, daily, weekly, monthly, anxiety issues, senior care, special needs — all okay! I’ve had cats, dogs, and fish since I was young. I also have previous veterinary and emergency veterinary assistant experience. I’m an experienced aquarist, plant and garden caregiver, and have hand-raised baby birds. I adore fish, guinea pigs, chickens, reptiles and amphibians too, so no worries if you have multiple pets because I take excellent care of them all! My own babies include: Hestia my newest adopted kitty, 6 pond goldfish and 1 pleco, 4 chickens, a bunch of plants, and I dabble in aquaponics (growing fish and plants together). I’m mature, responsible, detailed, and trustworthy. Taking clients now until my schedule is filled. Hope to see you soon! Feeding, care, play, and love — all day every day! We’ll probably listen to some music and do some howling too! We’ll take field trips to the beach as often as possible. HOUSE SITTING: I have deep respect for my client’s pets and home as I am also a property owner and property manager. ONSITE: 4 apartments formerly Airbnb rentals now used as pet accommodations — and a huge, fenced in backyard. We have lots of room for plenty of pets that won’t be in contact with one another (so no worries about getting along with others). All pets must have current vaccinations and must be on prescription flea/tic meds.

About: I grew up caring for my own cats and dogs and have also enjoyed being entrusted to care for the fur babies of others when they’re unable to. This has included general companionship, playtime, walks, feeding, and administering oral medications. I have experience with breeds of all sizes and ages, but do especially well with smaller breeds. A free 15-minute meet & greet is required for first-time clients. I prefer to care for pets in the client’s home; however, if a visit to my home is necessary for periods of time longer than an hour, it is recommended that the client provide materials like food, leash, toys, pet bed, and a carrier/crate, if used.
