Whether you have a puppy that needs extra attention to reinforce training, a senior that needs a soft touch, or they are somewhere in the middle with regular separation anxiety, I will keep your pup on their routine and feeling secure until your return! I work from home part-time so I'm able to accommodate your dog's typical schedule. There are no other pets or children in the home competing for attention. I am able to truly enjoy my time with each pup. I have a fenced in backyard, but if there is a risk your pet will dig or jump , I will keep your explorer on a leash when we are outdoors. Generally, I avoid socializing dogs while in my care.

I also have previous veterinary and emergency veterinary assistant experience. I’m an experienced aquarist, plant and garden caregiver, and have hand-raised baby birds. I adore fish, guinea pigs, chickens, reptiles and amphibians too, so no worries if you have multiple pets because I take excellent care of them all! My own babies include: Hestia my newest adopted kitty, 6 pond goldfish and 1 pleco, 4 chickens, a bunch of plants, and I dabble in aquaponics (growing fish and plants together). ONSITE: 4 apartments formerly Airbnb rentals now used as pet accommodations — and a huge, fenced in backyard. We have lots of room for plenty of pets that won’t be in contact with one another (so no worries about getting along with others). About: I have 2 senior dogs and 2 young cats at home. I know from personal experience every animal has their own needs, differences, and personalities. Your animal will be taken care of as not just a pet, but a friend! They deserve as much love as they would get if you were there! I am free mostly on weekends as weekdays I am a full time student at Texas A&M University at Galveston. But the earlier you message me the more I am able to move my schedule around. I live on a safe and pet friendly campus. I am an active person so walks, runs, and playing are all on the table! Indoor activities for shy pets are also great as I have plenty of homework!

About: I grew up with dogs in my family, and I took care of several of my roommates' dog while she lived with us and successfully potty trained one of them in the process. After some thought, I went and adopted a stray dog over a year ago and this made me want to get more involved with more dog owners like myself! I love to take my dog to the dog park weekly as well as run around with him in the field near my apartment. My dog (and multiple customers) can testify for me when I say I give the best head scratches! People often say that I probably care more about dogs than I do people, but I say they're both equally as high as each other.
