I have classes late into the day Tuesday and Wednesdays but besides that I am very available for early mornings before 10 and afternoons after 130! weekends are on a case by case basis. I live in a dorm but am more than happy to take your fur baby to the park or stay in your home and the safe environment they know!

About: With 21 years of military service, I bring a unique blend of commitment, discipline, and attention to detail to every aspect of my life. I grew up as part of the Future Farmers of America (FFA), where I gained extensive hands-on experience in raising pets. This foundation in animal care has shaped my practical approach to dog and cat husbandry. Currently, I maintain a diverse array of animals, including a black lab that I personally trained for duck hunting, a cat I’ve leash-trained to go on walks, a turtle, and a small-scale quail farm. My experience has taught me the importance of precision and organization, which I apply to managing my pets, ensuring everything is in top shape and that the animals receive the best care possible. I finish my workday in the early afternoon on weekdays, and I prioritize your pet during my free time. Your pet’s care will always be my top focus. I’m also available for early morning visits to accommodate your schedule. I treat our pets like family. Without children of our own, our 'fur babies' are everything to us. I care for every animal as if they were my own, ensuring they receive the same love, attention, and care that I give to my own pets.

About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8 years old and have cared for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. I’m comfortable with all sizes and breeds, from small to large dogs, and I understand that each pet has their own personality and needs. My experience has taught me how to be patient, attentive, and responsive to animals, whether that means keeping up with an energetic dog, giving extra care to a shy pet, or maintaining a consistent routine. I truly enjoy being around animals and treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m a full-time online college student, which gives me a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive and consistent care. As a single mom to a 9-month-old, I spend most of my time at home, so I’m already in a routine that supports being present, reliable, and responsive to pets’ needs throughout the day. Pet sitting and drop-ins align well with my lifestyle, allowing me to balance school, parenting, and caring for animals without conflicting with a traditional work schedule. I’m able to incorporate feeding, playtime, litter care, and companionship into my day while maintaining a calm and structured environment. This also gives me the opportunity to do something I genuinely enjoy—caring for animals—while earning income in a way that fits my current responsibilities. I take the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet very seriously. I follow each client’s instructions closely to maintain their pet’s normal routine, including feeding, litter care, medication if needed, and any specific care guidelines. I approach each pet with patience and respect, allowing them to feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. I also treat every client’s home with the utmost respect. I keep spaces clean and tidy, follow all house rules, and ensure doors, gates, and entry points are securely handled. I am mindful of security and privacy at all times, and I leave the home as I found it or better. My goal is to provide reliable, trustworthy care so pet parents feel confident and at ease while they’re away.

Whether it’s playtime, walks, or snuggles, I’ll treat your pets like part of my own family! As a nursing student, I’ve learned how to balance responsibility, care, and time management — skills that carry over perfectly into pet sitting. I usually finish my classes around 4 p.m. most days, which gives me plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings to care for pets. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. About: Hi. Our first dog when I was 6, aLab. An Irish Setter joined the family about 7 years later. Since then more dogs and then during the last 5 years some casual cats. I do some driving for my two sons, school, work, and such but the rest of my days are mine. Early AMs not a problem and preferably not later than 10PM. I am currently only offering dog walking and check in visits. Mentally healthy dogs like me. I'm also pretty good connecting with not-so-mentally-healthy dogs. I'm pretty empathic.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Tiki Island. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
