About: I am a lifelong animal lover based in Alvin/Santa Fe. I have owned many dogs and cats in my life and I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone you trust. I’m dependable, patient, and detail-oriented, and I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walk routines, and anything else your pet needs to feel comfortable and safe. I currently offer: • Dog walking • Drop-in visits • Cat care You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are being well cared for. I’d love to meet you and your furry family members! As a newly certified elementary school teacher, I have summers off and a schedule that allows me plenty of time to care for pets. During the school year, I’m usually home by 4:30 PM and available evenings, weekends, and school holidays. I would love the opportunity to give your pets the same care and attention I give my own. Me, my husband, and our 2 teenage kids live on a one-acre property with lots of open space. While the yard is not fenced, it’s a great environment for supervised outdoor time. We have a friendly, high-energy dog named Zoey, two indoor cats, and two outdoor cats who join us inside during the winter months.

Thi and Jace came in clutch last min. We had to run off to Austin for the day and didn’t want to leave the girls alone all day. Messaged them and they were so accommodating. Unfortunately we are moving to Austin and Thi and Jace wont be able to we care for the girls anymore. I will say these two are amazing and we were lucky to have them care for our girls while we are away.

I cannot recommend Neysha enough! She is SO wonderful and patient with my energetic puppy, Sandy. It was hard to leave Sandy to go back to work, but Neysha made it so much easier. She takes her for walks, runs, to dog park and even gives her a massage to calm her down when needed! If your pet is in need of a kind, knowledgeable, fun companion, Neysha is the right person for you. We just love her.

About: I grew up helping take care of the family pets; we had cats, dogs, fish, & rabbits! I’ve always loved taking care of pets and will never say no to an opportunity to meet new ones :) I have experience taking care of: cats, dogs, fish, turtles, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, & hamsters. I have experience medicating, feeding, and basic grooming. I routinely check for potential hazards and remove them from the environment. I’m currently unemployed due to the turbulent job market, so I have all the time in the world to care for your pets. When I’m not home taking care of my own animals, I’m out looking for work or a new place to volunteer. I’m always making sure there’s no choking hazards on my pets toys & making sure their water & food are always topped off. They always get extra love & brushing at the end of the day. (And maybe a couple extra treats if they’ve been good)

About: Many pet sitters provide basic care; I focus on building relationships. I take the time to understand each pet's unique personality, routines, and comfort needs. Whether it's extra playtime, cuddles, medication administration, or simply keeping their schedule consistent, I go the extra mile to ensure pets feel happy and loved while their owners are away. I currently work part time so I’m available to come by in the mornings before work, afternoons and evening! I’m available on weekends as well! I care for dogs in their own homes by keeping their routines as consistent as possible. From feeding and walks to playtime, belly rubs, and bedtime routines, I make sure they receive the same love and attention they're used to. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, preferences, and needs. I also send regular photo updates because I know how important it is to stay connected with your furry family member while you're away.

Special Offer Now through September, new pet parents who book four or more consecutive days will receive a complimentary leash (a $45 value). FYI To book with me and then decide to un book me is rude and just because another sitter has better reviews doesn't make them a better sitter. Quality is better than Quantity. $20 off to new clients . I have more clients than what rover is showing. Half of my clients are not rover repeat clients .Sadly thjs is the case I have a total of 17 repeat clients I work from home so I can break from my work as needed to meet the needs of the pets. Animals keep me from being lonely and guarantee I get exercise. Bigger Animals like huskies i will take for a run. I do need to pre-screen certain Dog breads. So please book your trial visit first before you book me for anywhere from 3 to 15 days. I need an overnight trial stay to ensure everything is well between me and the animals Dogs are cared for and watched with a careful eye. They never go outside without me watching them in the yard or on a leash as we go on walks or runs.

About: I’ve owned dogs since as long as I can remember! I’ve owned Golden Retrievers, Boxers, and now I have an American Pitbull Terrier/German Sheppard and they are the sweetest dogs ever!! I have a little experience in dog training (sit, shake, high five, etc). However I have always loved taking my dogs on walks or just playing with them outside!! I’m currently in nursing school so I have a few free days that I would love to be able to take time to myself (which of course means being with dogs!!) on the days I’m off of school. I do also work a few days a month for just a couple hours a day. I am always willing to play with dogs though!! I have a huge fenced yard that is extremely plain (no pool, no plants). I also have a large temperature controlled garage that they can play in! We have a slow feeder if needed, water bowls, food containers, dog toys, and a kennel!

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
