About: Hi, I'm an experienced dog lover with 9 years in dog 4-H and veterinary science. I grew up showing Collies and was raised on a hobby farm, where I've trained and shown multiple dogs; making it easier for me to understand dog body language. I offer dedicated, compassionate care for your furry friends. As a business owner, I have a lot more freedom on my hands allowing me a mostly open schedule to care for your treasured pets When providing in home pet care I provide respect for your personal space and attention to detail in caring for your pet and making them feel a little less lonely without you. At my home I have a fenced yard, and space for crates as well as a home set up for pets. My two friendly dogs can either provide company for your dog or be crated as needed.
About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I currently work 9-5 Monday through Friday. I can provide morning and afternoon care visits as well as overnight care when needed. Morning visits would be early morning around 7am for breakfast and afternoon visits anywhere from 6-8pm for play time and dinner. Weekends I am available all day. I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut.

She went above and beyond—not only making sure they were happy, cared for, and loved on, but also administering their medications and kept everything on track. Kara is awesome! She stayed with my cat while I was overseas for nearly three weeks and, for the first time ever, I returned to a content boy who acted almost like I hadn’t even been gone (usually it takes about a week for him to express his disapproval and get over my absence/return). My cat is very particular on who he likes, but from the first night he was wrapped around her neck and snuggled in as if she were me! I received plenty of photo updates and he received tons of love and snuggles and consistent meals schedules as if I were home. Kara is just the best!
Kat did a great job with our potty training and teething puppy! She sent lots of pictures and updates while we were at work all day. She did some of the training we're working on. She communicated any questions she had about our puppy and handling her mischief. She even put everything in our DogLog app for us! She's coming back later this week and we're so grateful!
Evan is an absolute cat whisperer. We left town for two weeks, and normally on our vacations one of our two cats is so upset that he won’t even come out of the basement. He doesn’t generally take to new people, either. By the end of the trip, both of our cats were cuddling Evan like old friends. Booking him for our vacation gave me so much peace of mind. Illa was professional and very responsible in taking care of my Maltese. She’s spoiled to death but that’s the way I like her to be and Illa was very respectful of that and contacted me about one issue which I definitely appreciated. It all worked out great and I definitely would recommend her for doing a wonderful job!
