Hi!! My name is Alyssa, and I’m a dedicated and compassionate pet sitter in the Kansas City area! I have experience working with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and any specific needs your pet may have. I also have hands-on experience caring for my diabetic cat, including administering insulin injections and monitoring routines. Because of this, I’m comfortable supporting pets with medical needs and understand the importance of consistency, timing, and gentle handling. Outside of pet sitting, I work in the counseling field supporting children and families, which has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to stay calm in all situations, these skills I bring into caring for your pets as well. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and secure while you’re away and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

I have known Alyssa for 10+ years, and she has always been an amazing animal caregiver to dogs, cats, and bunnies. Anyone that knows Alyssa, would list one of her attributes as being a huge pet lover. She has so much love and compassion for any animal. She has taken care of my pets many times, while I’ve been out of town. Alyssa is very trustworthy, reliable, and my pets adore her.
Alyssa took amazing, excellent care of my dog, Minty, I was on vacation for a week. She kept me updated daily with pictures and messages, which gave me peace of mind knowing Minty was safe and adjusting well while I was away. Alyssa took Minty for daily walks and spent quality time with Minty while under her care. Communication was very smooth and easy with Alyssa. She responded in an appropriate amount of time and coordinating times for drop-off and pickup were easy. She was very flexible to work with. I very much appreciate her taking care of Minty and being so reliable. I will absolutely have her watch my dog again in the future if needed.
Alyssa had watched our pet numerous times over the years. We have had dogs and cats and she has always been amazing with each and everyone of them. Schedule
I am getting my master’s, so I have some evening classes, but I am still able to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting during weekdays and weekends. Because of my schedule, I’m able to prioritize your pet’s routine, including feeding times, walks, play, and any medical needs like medications or insulin injections. I do my best to be reliable, on-time, and responsive to messages.
