About: I have been working as a veterinary assistant for 18 years and have done pet sitting and dog walking for 16 years. I have loved animals since i was a little girl. I can schedule walks for earlier in the morning or when the sun is going down. Since it's to hot to go during the day I have a fenced in back yard. I can't board animals at my house. But i can take animals on walks, drop ins and over nights depending on where the place is.
About: I’ve always loved animals since I was little :) Dogs, cats, chickens, quails, guinea pigs, and more! I’ve also volunteered at dog and cat shelters, which has really helped me understand different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m a calm, attentive, and gentle sitter who really enjoys spending time with animals. I pay close attention to little things, stick to each pet’s usual routine, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to provide cuddles, walks, playtime, or simply quiet companionship—whatever suits your pet best. I also send regular photo updates and stay in touch throughout the day for your peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely loving toward animals, I’d be happy to care for your pet 🤍 Feel free to reach out with any questions! I have plenty of time throughout the day to check in on pets, play with them, keep them company, and follow their usual routines. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give each pet the attention and calm presence they need :) I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets feel most comfortable and secure. Staying in their familiar environment helps reduce stress and allows me to follow their normal routines as closely as possible. I’m a calm, respectful, and home-oriented person. I treat every home with care and attention, keep spaces clean and organized, and follow all house instructions closely. Whether it’s locking doors, respecting quiet hours, or handling keys and security systems responsibly, I take home safety seriously. I’m comfortable staying overnight when needed and make sure pets are never left feeling alone or unsettled. My goal is to create a steady, peaceful presence — someone your pet can trust and relax around, and someone you can feel confident welcoming into your home.
About: I have been in the pet industry for over 20 years. I am a groomer, and have very high end clients. I do dog sitting for them for weeks at a time. All dogs are free to roam the house as long as they are house trained and get along with other dogs and a cat. Dogs are not caged or crated unless owner provided or requested. Our bedroom is large enough for 4-5 large dogs to sleep in on their own beds. All dogs eat at the same time everyday. Mornings around 7am, and afternoon around 5-530 pm. Water is always available. On hot days they will be enjoying 2 large dog pools to cool off in and play as long as possible. Pet care has been part of my daily routine since 2006. It's what I love and am passionate about. My life would be empty without dogs. Always home to keep an eye on them. I keep my clients up to date with daily pictures and updates of what their pet is up to.
“10/10 will ask Dylan back! He stayed in my home for the weekend with my very energetic heeler, cared for my two cats and also took great care of the garden! He also took the time to offer some training help with my dog, which is much needed and appreciated. All around he knows animals and genuinely cares for them which made me feel at ease leaving them all for a few days.”

“Katherine is fantastic! She recently stayed at our house for 3 days overnight with our 50 lb goldendoodle Freddie - Freddie is a bit timid around new people but was instantly calm with her and her experience is obvious. She went above-and-beyond to communicate with us routinely throughout each day, sending cute photos and updates and even did a load of laundry on her last day which made arriving home that much easier. We have already booked Katherine again for upcoming travel and absolutely recommend her!”

About: I’ve spent nearly my whole life around animals, and I genuinely can’t imagine it any other way. Almost 30 years working with horses — training, rehabbing, and caring for them — taught me patience, how to read an animal’s body language, and how to stay calm when they’re not. That instinct carries straight over to dogs, cats, and just about anyone with fur. When your pet is with me, they’re not an obligation on a checklist. They’re company. I’ll keep their routine steady, give them the attention and exercise they need, and send you updates so you’re never wondering how they’re doing. Whether it’s an anxious rescue who needs a gentle hand or a high-energy goofball who needs a real walk, I’ve got them. Acton/Santa Clarita area. Reach out and tell me about your crew — I’d love to meet them. I work from home, so pets aren’t squeezed into the margins of my day — they’re part of it. My schedule is flexible, which means I can match your pet’s routine instead of forcing them into mine: morning walks, midday check-ins, feeding times, all of it stays consistent with what they’re used to. Between my own animals and my work with horses, caring for animals is already woven into every day. Adding your pet to that rhythm isn’t a stretch — it’s just one more member of the crew. I’m around throughout the day to keep an eye on things, so your pet gets steady attention rather than a quick drop-in and gone. In your home, my first priority is keeping your pet’s world exactly as they know it — same feeding spots, same walk routes, same routine. I don’t rearrange things or cut corners. I make sure doors, gates, and yards are secure before anything else, because a lot of trouble starts with a gate that didn’t latch. I keep your keys and access details private and treat your home with the same respect I’d want for mine. With animals themselves, decades of reading horses taught me to watch body language closely — I can tell when a pet is anxious, overstimulated, or not feeling right, and I adjust instead of pushing. New environments and unfamiliar dogs get introduced slowly and on the pet’s terms. I keep an eye on hazards most people miss: food left out, toxic plants, an open trash can, a fence gap. You’ll hear from me with updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe and settled. If something seems off health-wise, I’ll reach out right away rather than wait — and I’ll always have your vet’s info on hand just in case.

About: I love all animals even the initially intimidating ones. I know how to read animals signals and access their comfort level. I give each pet the time it needs to get comfortable so that I can establish a relationship of trust. I'm nether a cat person or a dog person or a tortoise person for that matter, I love all pets equally. I've taken care of virtually every kind of house, pet (including my aunt's chinchilla) thank you got something I haven't seen before? Bring it on. I'm ready for it all. I don't consider taking care of pets to be at shore or work. I take care of them because they take care of me. They keep me calm and grounded, even when things are at their most chaotic. First things first, I treat each animal as if it were my own. I make sure to give each pet the attention it deserves. Upon first introduction and the patients to let it get comfortable when needed. From there I'm happy to take care of any special requests you might require for your pet.
“Audrey was amazing. Very kind and punctual. She sent me pictures of my pup throughout the day. Will definitely book again if the opportunity presents itself. Thanks again!”
About: i! My name is Angela, and I have had dogs my entire life. Growing up around dogs has given me a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and the love and attention they deserve. I truly love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, whether it's going for walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. I recently graduated from college, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to caring for your pets. This allows me to provide reliable attention, supervision, and companionship to ensure your dog feels comfortable and cared for while you're away. I understand that pets are family, and I will treat your dog with the same love, kindness, and care that I would give my own. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved at all times. I am responsible, trustworthy, and committed to providing a positive experience for both you and your pet. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! Since I recently graduated from college, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and providing companionship during both weekdays and weekends. I can easily adjust my schedule to meet your pet's needs and make sure they receive the attention, care, and love they deserve while you are away. The safety and well-being of every pet is my top priority. I have my own dog, who is a beloved member of my family, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. Caring for my own dog has given me experience with daily feeding routines, walks, exercise, playtime, and providing lots of love and attention.
About: I’m kind and patient with pets. I understand that they are not the same but do require the same type of care and love. I enjoy playing with them and giving them belly rubs and taking them for walks. I’m currently on summer breaks and would like to spend time caring for pets when their loved ones are away. It may be difficult on some families due to their schedule so I would like to make it easier on them. They way I would care for my clients pet at their home. I will check on them first and then see if they have water in their bowl. Will see if they require feeding. Lastly I will follow the instructions left my client. If they need a walk or play with them and keep them company.
“Hailey was amazing! She shared pictures while watching Sam, took him on walks, and really followed our requests. We felt very comfortable with Hailey in our home and taking care of Samwise while we were out of town.”

About: I've been a petsitter for 5 years, helping family and friends' fur babies while they were out of town. I am experienced with dogs and cats, small and large. I am very energetic and bubbly, but can match any animals personality to make sure they are comfortable and well taken care of. As someone who has grown up surrounded by animals, I love making new fur friends! I have had pets throughout my whole life. I have three pets of my own that I take care of daily. Two dogs and one cat. I take care of my friends and family's pets when they need help as well. I have two dogs and one cat that I feed, walk, bathe, and play with daily. Regarding clients it depends on their needs, wants and the comfort of their pets.
“Alex is an amazing sitter and house guest. She is experienced, communicative, attentive, friendly, and has a great energy that is needed to have someone stay in your home. She took fantastic care of our two cats so well that they didn’t miss a beat when we returned - no cold shoulders or disappearing acts because we left for a few days! Our gals like to hide around new people but they were out and about with Alex. Everything was clean and in its place when we returned. Just a lovely experience all around. Highly recommend, will book again!”

“Fantastic! Def will use again. She worked well with my reactive and anxious pup and slowly got him to trust her. She was able to accommodate us last minute due to another sitter canceling, and was awesome!”

About: What sets me apart is my deep commitment to following your exact routine. I am attentive to detail whether your pet requires a strict medication schedule, extra potty breaks, or highly specific care instructions. I truly love animals and focus on giving them my undivided attention, plenty of affection, and the dedicated time they deserve. I am able to care for animals at least 5 times out of the week for 4-6 hours. Depending on the days required, I do have school at certain times a week. I have hobbies and obligations to do as well. I believe 4-6 hours is time that I do have depending on the day of course as mentioned. I could possibly even spend a full day if needed. Again this depends on the day of the week and month. The reason I can’t take in animals at my own home is because I simply don’t have enough space or else I totally would! Also, the baby of the bunch doesn’t do well with new comers. I feed my cats at least 3 times a day they beg like they haven’t eaten in days I might add. They often let me know when they want things by getting my attention and running to the bowl or to their toys or the door to be let out. They have a litter box with cat pellets so It doesn’t stink up the entire house. Laser pointer sessions and dangling cat toys are their favorite. Yes of course the box the cat trees come in are more fun than the actual tree. Cat trees are replaced often, my cats love to chat with me when I talk they talk back. They love wet food every twice a week with many ingredients. My dad’s dog I take care of while he’s on 1 year vacation loves hiking trails that I usually walk on haha. He prefers the best of the best kinds of dog food won’t eat anything else! He’s a good boy and they’re sometimes good cats since they like to knock things over every once in a while or try and pick at my food when I’m on a quick bathroom break. All in all it’s easy to take care of animals in my opinion my cats were not easy to take care of as kittens they needed a lot done and one of them always had issues with her bladder and glands. She’s better now thanks to God and me for the outrageous bills. I’d do it for every animal if I could but I just don’t have enough resources or money to do so. I do love animals and they deserve joy, a wide environment, and amazing care while they’re living and breathing.
“We love Jade! She is absolutely incredible and made me feel as if I never left my baby. She provided updates and sent plenty of beautiful pics. My babygirl loved her and brought her so much joy while I was away. We will be booking again and again!”

“So happy to have Lisa watching my 2 pups the last three days. It was our first time with her and won't be the last! I've already booked her again. Lisa was great about communicating with me. She sent an update and pics twice a day without my having to prompt her. She had great rapport with my dogs, even with shy Riley. The house was in great condition when I got home. Lisa really cares about animals and doing a good job. I appreciate all you did while I was gone.”

“Denise have been walking Stella and Milo many times a week and babsitted them in my home a few times in the past few months! I feel very safe knowing she is the one coming, the pups adore her and she always gives a lot of updates/pictures! 🤗”

“Kristine was absolutely incredible with our large dogs. They loved every minute with her and she was so incredibly patient and loving towards them. I will feel so incredibly safe leaving town the next time we get to book her.”

As of August 2026, there are 11,993 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Indian Springs. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Indian Springs walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Indian Springs maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Indian Springs choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Indian Springs. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
