Bernadette took great care of Wensley. He seemed really content when I picked him up, and I appreciated her flexibility as far as drop off time. She's a great communicator and kept me posted with pictures. I will definitely be using Bernadette again for Wensley's future doggy daycare needs. Also, he loved the extra little doggy treats Bernadette had made. Such a great little surprise.

I was looking for a daycare option for my corgi to get used to bigger dogs again after a bad experience with a loose dog. Brasilio gladly did a meet and greet with us and brought his Husky to meet Tucker. He was very laid back with Tucker and very comfortable giving him a chance to get acclimated to his dog. Tucker responded very well so I felt like he’d be in good hands w/ Brasilio. He was also very accommodating when he needed to stay overnight when I had a schedule change and wanted to just pick him up the next day. Tucker has been doing MUCH better with new dog friends thanks to Brasilio!

I want to always make sure they’re safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve spent nearly my whole life around animals, and I genuinely can’t imagine it any other way. Almost 30 years working with horses — training, rehabbing, and caring for them — taught me patience, how to read an animal’s body language, and how to stay calm when they’re not. That instinct carries straight over to dogs, cats, and just about anyone with fur. When your pet is with me, they’re not an obligation on a checklist. They’re company. I’ll keep their routine steady, give them the attention and exercise they need, and send you updates so you’re never wondering how they’re doing. Whether it’s an anxious rescue who needs a gentle hand or a high-energy goofball who needs a real walk, I’ve got them. Acton/Santa Clarita area. Reach out and tell me about your crew — I’d love to meet them. I work from home, so pets aren’t squeezed into the margins of my day — they’re part of it. My schedule is flexible, which means I can match your pet’s routine instead of forcing them into mine: morning walks, midday check-ins, feeding times, all of it stays consistent with what they’re used to. Between my own animals and my work with horses, caring for animals is already woven into every day. Adding your pet to that rhythm isn’t a stretch — it’s just one more member of the crew. I’m around throughout the day to keep an eye on things, so your pet gets steady attention rather than a quick drop-in and gone. In your home, my first priority is keeping your pet’s world exactly as they know it — same feeding spots, same walk routes, same routine. I don’t rearrange things or cut corners. I make sure doors, gates, and yards are secure before anything else, because a lot of trouble starts with a gate that didn’t latch. I keep your keys and access details private and treat your home with the same respect I’d want for mine. With animals themselves, decades of reading horses taught me to watch body language closely — I can tell when a pet is anxious, overstimulated, or not feeling right, and I adjust instead of pushing. New environments and unfamiliar dogs get introduced slowly and on the pet’s terms. I keep an eye on hazards most people miss: food left out, toxic plants, an open trash can, a fence gap. You’ll hear from me with updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe and settled. If something seems off health-wise, I’ll reach out right away rather than wait — and I’ll always have your vet’s info on hand just in case.

About: I’ve grown up with animals and have also had my own Yorkie Terrier I cared for with much love. I know what it’s like to care for and own a dog and I will make your dog feel at home and treat them as if they were my own fur baby. I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your animals anytime since it’s summer!! I’m free most weekends days except Thursdays and Sundays 8am-12pm. Some weekends depending!! I have a small front area they could go pee at when it’s late at night or even early in the mornings. They will be taken on walks twice a day and given the nutrients they need including water, treats, and dog food.

About: I have a 9 year old lab mix at home in Seattle I’ve raised since she was a puppy. Over this past summer I volunteered at my local shelter every week helping out the shelter dogs and cats. I am currently available for boarding all days of the week as I am home full time. I am not employed at the moment and my boyfriend Hans works from home so we’ll always be home for your fur baby. That means we are able to provide constant care (3-4hrs away from the pet at most). We have a gated driveway and our yard is completely fenced. It’s a half acre fenced on a 2.5 acre lot. Tons of space for the dog to roam! We don’t have any pets right now.

We had such a great experience with our dog sitter! They did an amazing job taking care of Archie and kept me updated throughout the entire day. They sent me lots of pictures, which really helped me feel comfortable and reassured while I was away. It was clear that Archie was well taken care of and in good hands. I truly appreciate how attentive and caring they were. I would definitely recommend them and would book with them again! 🐶❤️

About: I have had dogs my entire life and love and treat them as my own children. They are a man’s best friend. They light up your day and take the stress away. I daily take them out on walks and feed accordingly. I am a stay at home mom with 20 plus retail Experience. I have decided to retire from sales. Now my focus is taking care of your pets if you are out of town, need a day sitter, etc. I have a fenced back yard, but I never allow pets out there unless I am beside them. I walk dogs on a leash. Play with them throughout the day.

We were visiting LA and required a last minute sitter due to the hot weather. Edwin and his family were quick to respond and accepted Java last minute! Edwin and his family were so great! We got the updates that we wanted throughout the day and Java looked like she was having fun. Java was spoiled during her stay and even received some homemade dinner. We would definitely recommend you leave your pet with them and we would if we are back in the area.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 6,852 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Indian Springs. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Indian Springs commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 6,852 sitters in Indian Springs, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
