About: 🐾Having my own dog changed the way I understand love and companionship. They’re there for the ordinary days, the difficult days and the happiest ones ,always waiting at the door, asking for nothing more than to be close to us. That’s why I know leaving your dog with someone else isn’t always easy. When your dog stays with me, I want you to know they won’t simply be fed and walked. They’ll be noticed, comforted, spoken to, played with and loved. I’ll care for them the way I hope someone would care for my own dog when I’m away — because to you, they’re not ‘just a dog’, and they won’t be to me either.💌 I’m already used to having dogs as part of my everyday routine, so walks, feeding, playtime and lots of company come naturally to me. I genuinely enjoy having a dog around and making them feel at home. I keep things as close to their normal routine as possible — their usual walks, feeding times, playtime and little habits that make them comfortable. Whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed and get plenty of attention and affection.

About: Ive been a dog lover my whole life and I have been looking after family/ neighbourhood pets in my spare time over the past 5 years which I love doing. I work from home two times a week and I am off on the weekend which is when I’d be mainly available to dog sit. I have a fenced garden out the back of my house which is attached to the kitchen/living room that they would be able to roam around and play.

About: Hey I’m Abby!! I’m a 21 year old college student studying criminology with psychology !! I am totally and utterly obsessed with cats… My passion for these wonderful creatures led me to adopt two twin tabby cat sisters, who have become the heart of my home. Their playful antics and curious nature keep me constantly entertained and on my toes !! I am currently finished up college for the summer so am available frequently throughout the day! I work part time on weekend mornings in the Bray/Greystones area, but would be available to feed/walk pets before and after this time. I am an early riser anyways :) I will adjust how I care for your pet based on their own individual needs! You let me know their preferences, needs and schedule and I can meet those needs accordingly!

About: Hey there! I am an easy-going and organised person. I love pets, especially cats, though dogs have a special place too. I know cats and dogs have different personalities, but we can find a common language. If your furry friend is ready to play for the whole day, I am happy to help, and if they prefer calm and relaxed atmosphere, I am good with that too. I have always lived with cats and now I miss my cat back home, her name is Masha and she is very playful. So I will bring all of that love to your friend. I send daily photos so you can be sure your pet is having a great time. I am currently not working so I can give my full attention to your pet. I can adjust to their schedule. I am available during whole week - weekdays and weekends I follow the instructions you provide. If you let your pets outside, on a walk or just your garden, I will let them too. I have a big room and pets can go on tables, beds, and anywhere they want. I have a balcony but I keep it close.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always felt a strong connection with them. I currently have my own dog, who’s been with me for 15 years (he’s literally like my child!) I walk him every day, care for him deeply, and make sure he’s happy, healthy, and loved. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s individual personality and needs. Whether your dog is full of energy or prefers a slower pace, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. You can trust me to treat your dog with the same love and respect I give my own. I have lots of free time to walk, at all different stages of the day as I only work two 24 hour shifts a week! I provide a very calm, safe environment with plenty of love, playtime, routine walks, and cuddles! I treat every pet like a member of the family.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always felt happiest outdoors with them. From walking German Shepherds to spending time with my family’s Great Dane and sheep dogs, I’ve had plenty of experience with different sizes and temperaments. I currently live in an apartment with my two cats, so I can’t have a dog of my own — which is why I love the chance to share adventures with other people’s dogs. I’m at my best on the trails. I offer dog walks and hikes that can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and needs. Whether your dog prefers a gentle wander or a proper hike with plenty of sniffing and exploring, I’m happy to match the pace. I always bring water, treats (if approved), and plenty of patience. My work schedule is flexible — I work 2–3 days a week — so I usually have 4–5 days free for walks. The exact days aren’t fixed, which means I’m best suited to owners who can be a little flexible with timing. I’m reliable, calm, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the outdoor time and company they deserve. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like a hiking buddy and make their walks something they look forward to, I’d love to meet them. I work 2–3 days a week, which means I have 4–5 days free for pet care. My available days aren’t fixed, so I’m best suited to owners who can be a little flexible with timing. I’m happy to fit walks or visits around both our schedules & will always confirm availability in advance. I live in an apartment with my two cats, so I don’t offer boarding at my home. For dog walking & drop-in visits I come to your home or meet you nearby. I’m calm, careful, & always prioritise your pet’s comfort & safety. I’ll follow any routines, medication needs, or special instructions you give me, & I’ll send updates so you know how everything is going.

About: started pet sitting during my first year of college, mainly caring for pets belonging to family and friends. Since then, I’ve looked after a range of dogs, from larger breeds such as Bernese Mountain Dogs and my own Labrador Retriever to smaller breeds like Toy Poodles. I also have a cat at home, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I’m used to adapting to different pets and their individual routines, personalities, and needs. I understand that every pet is different, so I always try to follow their usual routine and give them the attention and care they’re used to. I’m comfortable with regular walks, feeding, playtime, and keeping pets company while their owners are away. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions or routines that your pet may have. Most importantly, I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. As I’m currently at university, I have a very flexible schedule as I only have a few lectures each week. This means I have plenty of availability for pet sitting and can fit visits, walks, and care around my schedule. I’m also able to be flexible with timings and work around the individual routine and needs of your pet. I only provide pet care in the owner’s home, as I think this allows pets to stay in a familiar and comfortable environment while their owners are away. I make sure to follow their usual routine and any specific instructions they have provided, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any other care they may need. I’m respectful of the owner’s home and always make sure everything is kept clean and secure. I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home, so I take the responsibility seriously and will keep you updated while you’re away so you can rest assured that your pet is happy and safe.

I babysit every Thursday nights however I’m free in the mornings every other day I am fee to dog sit I would firstly make sure the food and water for the pet was full and let the pet out to the bathroom. I love going on walks so I could walk with the pet for 1-2 hours comfortably if the pet was bigger or needed a lot of exercise.

About: I’m a third year Animal Science student at University College Dublin with a huge passion for animal care and welfare. I regularly look after and walk my neighbours and family members dogs when they’re away, and I love spending time with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I also enjoy joining my friends on walks with their dogs whenever I can. I’m reliable, responsible, and caring, and I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, happy, and well looked after. I’ll always treat your pet as if they were my own and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, attention, and affection while you’re away. I’m currently very flexible over the summer and am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and feeding throughout the day, evenings, and weekends. I’ll be returning to college in September, but I’ll still be happy to work around my college timetable. I’ll do my best to accommodate to different schedules! Unfortunately, I can’t care for pets in my own home due to family health and allergy considerations. However, I’m more than happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home through drop-in visits, dog walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I understand that pets are happiest when they can stick to their usual routine, and I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and affection while you’re away. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully and treat your pets as if they were my own.

About: I’ve adored dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up around them at home. Since childhood, neighbours and friends have trusted me to look after their dogs. This includes walking, feeding, and playing with them while they’re away. I really enjoy walking, sometimes covering up to 15km a day, so I’m always happy to give dogs the exercise they need. I pay close attention to each dog’s energy and routine, whether they’re a boisterous puppy needing a good run or an older dog who just wants calm company, and make sure they’re happy and comfortable the whole time I’m caring for them. I currently work freelance in film and TV, so my schedule varies but I’m often available on weekdays as well as weekends, especially with advance notice. This flexibility means I can offer generous, unrushed visits, including longer walks, since I really enjoy walking and often cover up to 15km a day. I don’t currently own any pets of my own, so your pet would have my full attention with no other animals to compete for it. I live close to several parks, which is ideal for regular walks and giving dogs plenty of space to run and explore safely.

About: When your dog stays with us, they're getting two dedicated carers rather than one. My sister Bridget and I live together and are lifelong dog lovers with over 15 years' experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. We have experience with puppies, senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, and we're comfortable administering medication when required. We share our home with our own dog, Louie, and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with a beloved family member. Because there are two of us involved in your dog's care, they'll benefit from plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout their stay. We know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, so we'll care for them as if they were one of our own: keeping them safe, happy, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. My sister Bridget and I live together and both help care for the dogs staying with us, with flexible work schedules, there is almost always one of us home during the day. Your dog's safety and comfort are always our top priorities. We live in a quiet area with easy access outside and are fortunate to have several great parks and walking routes nearby. We never let dogs off lead unless we've discussed it with the owner and are completely confident in their recall. We're happy to follow your dog's existing routine and accommodate any preferences, quirks, dietary requirements, or medical needs to help them feel comfortable and secure while you're away.

About: 🐾 Your Pet’s New Best Friend! 🐾 Hi! I’m Thais, a 36-year-old Brazilian living in beautiful Ireland — and a lifelong animal lover with a heart (and home) wide open for furry friends. Back in Brazil, I have two beloved dogs who are part of my soul. Being away from them has only deepened my love for animals — and my understanding of just how important it is to leave your pet with someone who treats them like family. That’s exactly what I offer. Whether it’s tail wags, slow blinks, or little happy hops — I get animals. I can stay with your pet in their home where they feel most relaxed. I’ll keep their routine as normal as possible, and you’ll receive regular photos and updates. About: I’m very empathetic and can pick up on dogs emotions as I’ve had a dog since I was 10 years old. I’m reliable and committed to understanding pet care. I notice different body language and routines and especially health needs. I’m very patient and attentive and I love animals and would love to do it as a job At the moment I do two days in college which are Thursday 9:30-1:30 and Friday 9:30-11:30am. I work doing events and it varies with hours a lot but I would like to do this job and fit it into my daily routine as it’s something more suited to my personality. I’ve been caring for my dog, a 14 year old parson russel terrier since I was 10 years old. Over the years ive handled everything from daily walks and feeding to understanding their changing needs as they’ve gotten older. I make sure he gets plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and love while keeping up with health concerns and vet visits. Caring for my dog Teddy who is now senior has taught me how to adapt to different routines and patience. I spend all of my time with my dog when I’m home and treat him like my bestfriend

Alanna was great with our dogs this week! Our little Chihuahua terrier is a nervous dog but he took well and quickly to Alanna. She was on time, showed great care for the dogs and they came home from their walk nice and tired...ideal! We will absolutely use Alanna again in the future, and would recommend her!

Jeroen is absolutely amazing with our dogs. He takes them every week day to their favourite place for a half hour walk and provides lots of photos. The dogs love him and are always visibly excited coming up to the time he arrives to take them for their walk. He has allowed my fiancée and I to work in the office much more and no longer worry about leaving the dogs at home. We get an update and photos every day around lunch time which is so nice

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Dog Walking in Bray on Rover is {{median_grand_total_num.as_currency}} per walk (as of {{date}}). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Dog Walking easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Dog Walking.

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-to-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Bray. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighbourhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

Tip: Keep in mind that many cities require your dog walker to have a permit or licence for group walks.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poo breaks recorded by the walker.

The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Bray after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.

Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the walker is the right fit before booking.

For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Yes, you can find sitters who can respond to your messages in under 5 minutes. To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent 'calendar last updated' notice on their profiles.

Walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three- or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
