About: I’ve grown up with cats and later became a dog owner, so animals have always been a big part of my life. I absolutely love dogs and am known locally for being the person who stops to say hello to every dog I meet! 🐶❤️ I’m confident, caring and genuinely adore being around dogs. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own, with plenty of love, attention and fuss. I work but with a little notice I’m very flexible and can plan around your pet’s needs. I’m happy to arrange walks, visits and care in advance and I’ll always make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise and company. 🐾 Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. I take time to understand their routine, personality and any special needs, and I’m careful to follow their usual feeding, walking and care instructions. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a calm, safe and loving environment, with plenty of attention, play and companionship. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own.

About: I’ve have always been around pets growing up from hamsters to horses and most things in between. One of my greatest highlights was adopting two adult cats and helping them grow in confidence in their new environment including training them to live in harmony with three labradors (and vice versa!). I love to pet sit as part of my holiday time, spending time with animals is such a great way to relax. I currently work from home four days a week and I am available over the lunch period. I’m also available every other Wednesday and Saturday. I strictly follow all security procedures which are set in place by the owner including keeping windows and doors securely fastened and managing any security systems.

About: I cannot remember not having a pet at my house. Dogs have been part of my life since I was born, times when we had 7 at our place. I absolutely love dogs and miss them so much ( I don't have a pet here in Ireland yet!) I love pets in general but specially dogs. I've been around dogs my hole life, my parents even had a pet place in Brazil. I can provide love, food, and a safe environment for the dog. I can also go for walks and give medicines or any special treatment. I have driver's license and can transport it if needed. I have had puppies, adults and old pals. I had hard and easy going dogs. My kids are also passionate about animals and mostly dogs.

I offer dog walking, home visits, and pet sitting, and I am committed to following your pet’s routine and individual needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, companionship, or simply a calm presence, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I understand that every pet has their own personality and deserves patient and attentive care.
I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages during my visits, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Im currently working part time and usually have two days a week off, so I’ll be able to adjust around your schedule. I’m available for pet sitting at your home during the day and/or overnight! About: Hi! My name is Clara and I'm a big animal lover. I've loved all animals since I was a small child and strongly believe in respecting their autonomy and helping them live fulfilled and comfortable lives! I care for a feral cat colony in my neighbourhood, and also had my own house cat, Scraggly, up until recently, who is the cat in my profile photo! She was a rescue who I found on the street and had to nurse back to health- she was 17 and had some additional needs so I am well used to some of the more awkward tasks involved in pet care💓

About: I had my dog for 14 years and 9 months. I started raising her when I was 14 years old. In her senior years, she had two surgeries — one to remove an abdominal tumor and one for a leg joint problem. I took care of her during recovery, so I have experience with senior dogs and post-surgery care. I understand how important patience, careful monitoring, and gentle support are. My dog also gave birth twice, so I have experience caring for puppies and supporting mother dogs after birth. These experiences taught me responsibility and how to adjust care based on each dog’s needs. I will treat every pet like my own. I currently work part-time and remotely from home, so I'm generally available all day from Monday to Sunday. I can do dog walking and drop-in visits, with availability on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Wednesday and Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. So if you need anything, feel free to contact me. I offer drop-in visits and dog walking, I believe it's important to respect the owner's space and rules. I always make sure to keep things clean, follow feeding and walking instructions carefully, and pay close attention to the pet's mood and well-being. I'm also happy to help with small tasks like watering plants or bringing in the mail to give owners extra peace of mind while they're away. I'm reliable, respectful of your home, and my goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and safe.

I regularly look after and walk my neighbours and family members dogs when they’re away, and I love spending time with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I also enjoy joining my friends on walks with their dogs whenever I can. I’m reliable, responsible, and caring, and I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, happy, and well looked after. I’ll always treat your pet as if they were my own and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, attention, and affection while you’re away. I’m currently very flexible over the summer and am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and feeding throughout the day, evenings, and weekends. I’ll be returning to college in September, but I’ll still be happy to work around my college timetable. I’ll do my best to accommodate to different schedules! Unfortunately, I can’t care for pets in my own home due to family health and allergy considerations. However, I’m more than happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home through drop-in visits, dog walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I understand that pets are happiest when they can stick to their usual routine, and I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and affection while you’re away. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully and treat your pets as if they were my own.

Ira took such wonderful care of Juno and Ted while we were away. We received daily updates, photos and videos, which we really enjoyed and which helped put our minds at ease knowing they were in such good hands. It was clear that Ira took the time to get to know our cats and understand their individual personalities, giving them plenty of attention, care and affection. When we came home, Juno and Ted were completely happy and their usual selves, which was a great sign that they had been very well looked after. We honestly couldn’t recommend Ira highly enough and would absolutely use her again. Thank you so much, Ira! 🙂

FAQs for Pet Sitting - Bray

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Pet Sitting in Bray on Rover is {{median_grand_total_num.as_currency}} per Visit (as of {{date}}). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Sitting.

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or toilet breaks occurred, for doggy day care, home visits, and dog walking services. You can also message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available by email or chat if you have concerns.

Of course! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Bray pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.

Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.

For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bray choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into your regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
