About: I take care of dogs responsibly and with lots of energy. I enjoy exploring new places and do developmental activities to keep the dog from getting bored, I have cared for and sheltered 4 personal dogs over the past 5 years, walking them every day, keeping them entertained and healthy. I took care of family pets, either feeding them while they were at work or keeping them company daily when they traveled. I have plenty of availability and flexibility to care for your pets. I’m available every day, including weekends, and I can easily adapt to your pet’s usual routine and schedule. I understand how important it is for pets to maintain their normal routine, especially in their own home. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure their pet feels safe, comfortable and as stress-free as possible while in my care.

“Ana was fantastic with our Bailey (a Dachshund)! From the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease leaving Bailey in her care. She kept us updated with messages and photos throughout the stay, which we really appreciated. Our Dachshund can be a little particular at times, and feel a bit anxious, but Ana was patient, attentive, and clearly made her feel comfortable and loved. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and it was obvious that Ana had taken excellent care of her. We would highly recommend Ana to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again.”

About: Hi! I’m a Trinity College Dublin student based in Bray with a genuine love for animals. Growing up, I had two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring to look after your pets while you’re away.
Alongside my studies, I work as a healthcare assistant, a role that has strengthened my responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail. I am also Garda vetted, providing extra peace of mind for pet owners.

I offer dog walking, home visits, and pet sitting, and I am committed to following your pet’s routine and individual needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, companionship, or simply a calm presence, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I understand that every pet has their own personality and deserves patient and attentive care.
I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages during my visits, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Im currently working part time and usually have two days a week off, so I’ll be able to adjust around your schedule. I’m available for pet sitting at your home during the day and/or overnight! I am Garda vetted and reliable! We can go over house rules and security protocols to ensure that the experience is comfortable and safe for everyone involved.

About: Since birth, dogs have been a central part of my life, and I've always had a deep connection with them. Over the years, I've gained valuable experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, including family pets, friends' dogs, and neighbours' companions. This hands-on experience has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care and ensure the well-being of every dog under my supervision. I am currently a student and working part time. I will be off college for the summer so my schedule is relatively flexible to look after your dogs ! Although I have dogs of my own it is not feasible to mind other dogs at my house at this time. Apologies for any inconvenience

“We just returned home from our 4 day trip abroad. Natalia stayed at our home with our dog Loki, she followed all of our requests in relation to feeding times & walks, I would even say she went above and beyond with exercising him and we returned home to an extremely happy dog. Natalia gave us daily updates & photos of Loki which put us at ease. Our house was in the same condition we left it in, clean & tidy. We would highly recommend Natalia for pet sitting services and home stays. Thank you so so much Natalia !! ☺️”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love spending time with them. I grew up with a black Labrador who was part of the family for 14 years, followed by a lively Jack Russell, so I’m very familiar with different personalities and energy levels. Over the years I’ve also looked after many dogs for friends and family, from relaxed companions to high-energy explorers. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, it just means I pour all that attention and affection into the dogs I care for. I love getting dogs out on proper adventures — long walks, hikes, and plenty of time exploring the outdoors. My goal is always to make sure they come home happy, exercised, and maybe just a little bit spoiled! My shift schedule gives me flexibility throughout the week, meaning I’m often available at times when others aren’t — including weekdays and daytime hours. When I’m minding a dog, I make sure they get lots of time, walks, and attention. Safety is very important to me when caring for dogs. I make sure leads and harnesses are secure, stay aware of the environment on walks, and avoid situations that could be stressful or unsafe. I’m happy to follow each dog’s routine and any specific instructions from their owner to keep them comfortable and safe.

About: While away travelling I worked as a dog sitter with many different breeds, in many different houses across NZ. Absolutely love animals and the comfort they bring to every home! I work as a secondary school teacher so off for the summer months and can do evening visits for those who don’t get to finish up early. It’s important for the dog to feel comfortable with new people, so I love bringing some toys. But bringing the furry friends on walks or just giving them some cuddles might be my favourite. Whatever works best for them! Also understand the importance of respecting your home.

About: I have had dogs all my life and I love looking after them. My 2 dogs (female Bichon Frise 11years old and male Maltese 2years old) are very friendly and compatible with others. I have experience minding dogs of all ages and sizes however I can only keep small/medium dogs in my own house. I am a very reliable and responsible person and I’d love to help out your families! I will return to my second year of college at the end of September and I won’t have not yet received my timetable. Until then, I am available everyday. I have a car and I am living near the dart station, facilitating easy travel. I have a small/medium sized dog door leading out to an enclosed garden. I live right across from a dog park which I like to take the dogs to once or twice a day. My two dogs are very easy-going and tend to stick to themselves. I love doing activities with my dogs for example bringing them in the car to the beach, playing in the park and getting pup-cups!

FAQs for House Sitting - Bray

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Bray on Rover is {{median_grand_total_num.as_currency}} per night (as of {{date}}). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting.

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.

House sitters can stay overnight in your home and care for your pets according to the routine you agree on before the booking.

Depending on your pets’ needs, this may include feeding, walks, play, companionship, medication, providing toilet or litter-box care, and keeping their usual schedule. Some sitters may also agree to light household tasks, such as collecting mail, watering plants, or putting bins out, but these are not automatically included.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss the sitter’s overnight schedule, how long your pets can comfortably be left alone, arrival and departure times, update preferences, and all tasks you would like to arrange. Confirm the agreed responsibilities through the Rover app before booking.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.

Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.

For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bray choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into your regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
