About: I’ve grown up with cats and later became a dog owner, so animals have always been a big part of my life. I absolutely love dogs and am known locally for being the person who stops to say hello to every dog I meet! 🐶❤️ I’m confident, caring and genuinely adore being around dogs. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own, with plenty of love, attention and fuss. I work but with a little notice I’m very flexible and can plan around your pet’s needs. I’m happy to arrange walks, visits and care in advance and I’ll always make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise and company. 🐾 Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. I take time to understand their routine, personality and any special needs, and I’m careful to follow their usual feeding, walking and care instructions. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a calm, safe and loving environment, with plenty of attention, play and companionship. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own.

“In one word : Trust! This was the first time for us using a cat sitting service and we could not be happier we found Annalisa!! We recently moved to Ireland and needed to leave for a week and Annalisa has been incredible with our cat. She came everyday and followed every instruction (especially as our cat needs daily medication), sent lots of pictures and videos and it was so reassuring to have someone we could trust taking care of our cat. We definitely recommend and we will absolutely rehire Annalisa next time!”

About: A dream of mine is to have a career that would allow me to work with animals on a daily basis, this led me to apply to veterinary in university. Before this I studied Bioanalytical science in TUD, and then Advanced Animal Healthcare in DFEI, while working part time as a Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant. I have just recently left the role of an Animal Care Assistant in the Veterinary department in the NSPCA ! For the last few summers I had juggling my part time job with volunteering in the dog treatment centre in the NSPCA, as well as some summer work in a dog boarding kennels. Throughout my time in both places I gained vast experience working with all types of dogs. I practiced my skills handling dogs and how to manage different situations that the kennels would face on a daily basis including behavioural issues and medicine administration with the trained vets on site. I was also responsible for feeding, cleaning, and caring for many different dogs of all ages and temperaments. I really found my path during this time and felt that I had grown in confidence and ability to work on my own accord, while making important decisions. I also have completed work experience in a variety of veterinary clinics, veterinary hospitals (including the pet emergency hospital in UCD), stables, and kennels. Unofficially, I have had dogs all my life and have done dog and cat sitting, and dog walking for neighbours, family, and friends since a young age. I have experience with both foster cats and dogs of all ages from bottle feeders to adults, including healthy and recovering animals. I have just got my degree in Animal Care where we covered various skills and knowledge, such as; animal handling, vet assisting skills, animal behaviour, dog grooming, canine obedience and training, kennel and cattery management, wild animal management, large animal handling, animal science and health, and much more ! I am also fully certified by AniEd in Dog Handling and pet first aid. Upon completion of my degree last year (advanced animal care) I am now a fully qualified dog groomer and animal care assistant. I also have the basics in dog training and canine obedience. Due to the nature of my degree at the minute I’m out of the county Monday-Friday! I am available for home visits, pet sitting, or walks exclusively at this time. I can spend as long as required with the pets, playing or exercising with them, or simply chilling out. I can also water plants, bring in mail, administer oral medication, or feed and provide fresh water ! I'd love to snap a few pics to keep you updated on your pet :), the duration spent would be dependent on the pets needs and usual routine. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions :) From a young age, I have always had a passion and natural curiosity for animal science and medicine. This motivated me to gain experiences in a variety of animal care roles and apply to veterinary in university. I am a hardworking, self-motivated individual who is looking to progress my studies and gain experience. I believe my personality, interest, previous experience, and desire to work with animals makes me a very suitable person for the job. I am fully certified by AniEd in Dog Handling and Pet First Aid. Upon completion of my degree last year (advanced animal care) I am now a fully qualified dog groomer and animal care assistant. I also have the basics in dog training and canine obedience. I also have a full clean drivers licence and a doggy seat belt in case we need transport !

“Our cat really loved Una and it was so obvious when we got back that he had made himself right at home. He is a funny guy so that bond was inportant to us and he definitely loved it at Unas place. He wasn’t well at one point - probably homesick - and Una really just made us feel confident that he was being minded well. I’m hoping Una can mind him again as I didn’t worry one bit knowing he was with her. Thanks Una!!”

“This is my second time booking Zoe, she's just great! I love the little photos and updates she gives while we're away, I never have to worry about my cat Ozzy. I feel super comfortable knowing Ozzy will have a good feed and of course, a good cuddle from Zoe. Can't recommend her enough!”

Brought up with cats, horses, dogs, guinea pigs, chickens and cows, I am comfortable with the varying personalities and needs of every pet I take care of, including the administration of medication. Throughout my time as a volunteer in Africa, I had the honor of leading a vaccination campaign that benefited over 1,400 animals and 110+ farmers and their families. “Natalia is a wonderful young lady and so professional. She was brilliant with my two cats who she cared for overnight, I felt so at ease even though this was the first time I had left them overnight, Natalia kept me updated of how their evening was going and sent me videos to assure me they were content and relaxed. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be availing of her services again 5 stars ⭐️”

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Bray
Iracir was looking after my two cats, Gabi and Jackie for a week this July when I went away on holiday. Each visit Ira was sending me updates and photos and videos of my pets, and it was lovely to see they were looked after well. Ira is an amazing person, I'm very happy with the way she was looking after my cats. I highly recommend her and will use her services in the future.

Ira took such wonderful care of Juno and Ted while we were away. We received daily updates, photos and videos, which we really enjoyed and which helped put our minds at ease knowing they were in such good hands. It was clear that Ira took the time to get to know our cats and understand their individual personalities, giving them plenty of attention, care and affection. When we came home, Juno and Ted were completely happy and their usual selves, which was a great sign that they had been very well looked after. We honestly couldn’t recommend Ira highly enough and would absolutely use her again. Thank you so much, Ira! 🙂

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting.
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.
Of course! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.
Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Bray pet parents with similar pet households.
Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.
Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.

It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

You can find what you need to review a sitter on their profile before booking with them. Each sitter’s profile on Rover shows verified reviews, identity verification, and ratings to give a glimpse of how their previous visits went. You can also use the Meet & Greet to walk through your home, identifying which areas, like your bedroom, are off-limits or not. Requesting details of your home security through the app can also be a good way to have your sitter keep you updated about your home.
If you have security cameras or smart doorbells, Rover asks that you disclose them to sitters before you book.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
