About: I've been petsitting for the last 9 years. I started back home where I co-founded a petsitting company. I've looked after cats, dogs, birds, and even rabbits. I offer cat visits, dog walking, and in-house live-in petsitting. I work a full-time job, but I'm fully remote so I'm quite flexible with day sits and overnights. I'm also able to administer medication to both cats and dogs, and even have experience with diabetic felines (checking glucose through blood tests and administering tailored doses of insulin according to owner guidelines). I'm also super communicative with plenty of video and photo updates to share throughout the day! I work fully remotely during office hours between 9am and 5pm, with flexibility where needed. This allows me to provide constant companionship, structured feeding, and regular breaks throughout the day. I don’t work on weekends, and my partner takes care of our cats while I am away at petsits (he's also a cat lover!). I don't just respect your pet, I respect your home. I follow instructions as provided, maintain strict safety routines, and always leave your space perfectly clean and secure. I also avoid leaving personal belongings that could be a hazard, such as hair ties or small jewellery, lying around

About: I have both professional kennel based experience and personal extended periods of house sitting. I have first hand experience with high energy dogs , high anxiety and lazy little couch potatoes who rather do nothing but sleep. I also have experience with cats having owned and fostered many over the years, I currently own two very dumb tabby cats who find themselves all sorts of mischief, I am highly capable at hiding that medicine in treats and having the most stubborn of kitties take it I am in college most days but I am free to spend the mornings and evenings with your pet, I can bring them on long walks or play endlessly until they tire out. If it is a house sitting job I will gladly stay over night with the puppy or kitty, as I own an elderly dog with my family I am unable to take pets inside the home. House sits I can visit 2-3 times a day depending on what the owner wishes.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life I got my first dog when I was 9, and I’ve never grown up in a home without a pet since. Caring for animals is second nature to me. I currently have 1 dog, 1 cat, and 3 adorable kittens, so I’m well used to all kinds of personalities, needs, and routines. I’m a true animal lover and would happily spend all day every day caring for furbabies. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, feeding, walks, or just keeping them company! I treat every pet as if they’re my own. I’m fully available on weekdays and weekends for any pet care needs, whether it’s daytime walks, evening walks, check-ins, or pet sitting for a few hours or the whole day I create a peaceful and stress-free environment by caring for pets in their own home, where they feel most secure. I follow their usual routines, give them gentle attention, and keep their space clean and comforting. I’m trustworthy and respectful. I don’t offer overnights at my home due to my own dogs and cats.

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and have plenty of hands on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up having dogs of my own, so looking after pets and making sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a cat of my own and regularly help care for my grandparents’ cats and dogs, as well as my sister’s dog. I’ve also helped neighbours with pet sitting and looking after their animals when they’ve been away or needed an extra hand. Through this, I’ve had experience caring for different pets with their own personalities, needs and routines. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, keeping pets company and following their usual routines. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and settled when their owners aren’t around, so I always take the time to get to know them and make sure they get plenty of attention and affection. I’m reliable, patient and attentive, and I’m very happy to follow any specific instructions you have. I’d treat your pet with the same care and affection I give my own. As a secondary school teacher, I have a consistent weekly schedule and plenty of availability outside of school hours. I’m available for dog walking and drop in visits after 4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and from 1:30pm onwards on Wednesdays. At weekends, my schedule is much more flexible and I’m available throughout the day for dog walking, pet sitting, drop in visits and longer periods of care. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine wherever possible and can discuss individual needs and timings with you. I also have greater flexibility during school holidays and mid-term breaks. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and individual needs, so I always aim to make their time with me as comfortable and familiar as possible. I’m happy to follow any instructions provided by owners regarding feeding, walks, exercise, playtime and their usual daily routine. When caring for a pet in their own home, I’m very respectful of both the pet’s space and the owner’s home. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, companionship and playtime, as well as regular walks and toilet breaks where needed. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and being well looked after. Safety is really important to me, so I’ll always follow instructions regarding leads, feeding, interactions with other animals and anything else I should be aware of. Most importantly, I’ll treat every pet I look after with the same care, patience and affection I would give my own.

About: I have 25+ years of experience providing pet services and have been caring for animals all my life. Brought up with cats, horses, dogs, guinea pigs, chickens and cows, I am comfortable with the varying personalities and needs of every pet I take care of, including the administration of medication. Throughout my time as a volunteer in Africa, I had the honor of leading a vaccination campaign that benefited over 1,400 animals and 110+ farmers and their families. Working hands-on with livestock owners and veterinarians to improve animal health strengthened my belief in patience, attentiveness, and the importance of routine care for the holistic health of animals. I am also a keen gardener and beekeeper, which adds to my love of spending time outdoors and tending to living things. Growing up on a farm, I understand the importance of caring for animals. I will treat your animal(s) as if they were my own, with the love and care I would expect someone to do for mine. I’m able to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it’s cuddle breaks or outdoor play in the yard, your pet will never feel alone or overlooked. Their needs are part of my schedule, not an afterthought—so you can feel confident they’re getting consistent love and care every step of the way. Your pets are happiest in the place they know best, so I’m happy to care for them in the comfort of their own home. I’ll keep their usual routines as consistent as possible, from mealtimes and walks to playtime, cuddles, and plenty of attention. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing with their favourite toys, or simply relaxing on the sofa, I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Staying in their own home also means they can enjoy their familiar surroundings, favourite sleeping spots, and all the little comforts they’re used to. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pets—by giving them the love, care, and companionship they’re accustomed to, right where they feel most at home.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve had many years of hands-on experience looking after dogs, including managing daily routines, exercise, play, socialisation and general care. I’ve also been closely involved in a dog’s professional training, which gave me valuable practical knowledge about canine behaviour, communication, boundaries, basic obedience and positive reinforcement. This experience taught me how important patience, consistency and calm communication are when caring for dogs. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs and larger breeds, and I enjoy keeping dogs active and mentally stimulated. I also understand that every dog has a different personality and needs, so I always adapt my approach to their individual temperament, energy level and routine. I know how important it is to feel confident when leaving your dog with someone else. I treat every dog in my care with patience, attention and affection, while following their usual routine and their owner’s instructions as closely as possible. My goal is simple: for every dog to feel safe, happy and comfortable while they’re in my care. I study English Monday to Friday from 3:45pm to 5pm, so I’m available before and after my classes. I’m also very flexible on weekends and can adapt to different pet care schedules depending on the service needed. I provide a safe, calm and caring environment for pets. I always follow the owner’s instructions and keep their normal routine as much as possible. I’m attentive to their needs and make sure they receive plenty of care, exercise and companionship.

About: I’ve had pets all my life, and that has taught me to treat them as my best friends. I've worked as a pet sitter in Brazil and I’ve been working with, in Dublin for 2 years. I speak English fluently and I've got all the skills to make sure pet owners have a smooth and easy-going experience. I think the most important thing for a good pet sitter is to love animals and understand their individual needs. They need our care and attention, and should be treated as our best friends. Over the last 2 years working as a pet sitter in Dublin, most of the animals I looked after were cats. I get on very well with them and know how to respect each one’s temperament and personality; I believe this is important when it comes to cats. I'm pretty flexible, so we can figure out the best timetable and payment methods that work for you. I’m sure I can be your next permanent pet sitter, making your life as a tutor easier. Roberta I’m pretty flexible, so I prefer to talk about time and everything in advance, to make sure the tutors have a smooth, easygoing experience. I always heard the tutors instructions carefully and adapt all to the needs of each pet. I reckon that each pet has very specific needs, so it’s more important to me to heard the tutor so I can adapt myself to provide an easy and trustworthy experience.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Naas on Rover is {{median_grand_total_num.as_currency}} per Visit (as of {{date}}). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting.

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.

Of course! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Naas pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.

Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.

For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

You can find what you need to review a sitter on their profile before booking with them. Each sitter’s profile on Rover shows verified reviews, identity verification, and ratings to give a glimpse of how their previous visits went. You can also use the Meet & Greet to walk through your home, identifying which areas, like your bedroom, are off-limits or not. Requesting details of your home security through the app can also be a good way to have your sitter keep you updated about your home.

If you have security cameras or smart doorbells, Rover asks that you disclose them to sitters before you book.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
