About: I especially enjoy caring for small, friendly female dogs, as I have a little Chihuahua girl of my own at home and would love for her to have a gentle companion to play with. 🐾💕 Pet care fits well into my routine, and I’m available all week until 3pm, with full-day availability on Tuesdays,Wednesdays and Thursdays. I’m home-based and can give dogs plenty of attention, care, playtime and company throughout the day. I provide a safe, calm and loving home environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for. I always supervise dogs, keep their food and routine consistent, and make sure they rest and relax. I’m also very mindful of doors, gates and anything they could get into, especially with small dogs. Most importantly, I treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own Chihuahua.
“Cosmo was treated like a king in his own Castle. Bobbi is wonderful with dogs and helped my little one settle straight in. He was so well looked after and came home with even more treats 🐶🥰 I'm sure he will spring through your door the next time. Thank you so much again”

“Holly seems to have been really happy with Emer and her family. They welcomed her as part of the family and she will miss their company. Thanks to Emer for all the communication while she was with you. I didn't worry for one second.👍😀”

“Lilian was great minding Millie. When I met her it was clear that she is very experienced and knowledgeable with dogs and showed great affection for Millie and her own dog Pepsi. It was obvious Millie was going to be well looked after. Communications throughout the dogminding was perfect and I had peace of mind that I didn't need to worry about Millie in my absence. Anyone would be lucky to have Lilian mind their doggie.”

“Maryanni and Wladmyr were absolutely amazing with Duncan. I got daily updates on how he was doing and they were so responsive, drop off and pick up were super easy. Would absolutely recommend and would not hesitate for a second to ask them to mind Duncan again.”
“We are so happy with Natalia’s boarding service for our dog Molly! We left her with Natalia for 8 nights while we went on holiday, and she had such a fun time between daily walks, cuddles, playtimes, and even a day trip to Glendalough! We received daily updates of Molly through videos and pictures which made us feel very much at ease as we could see she was getting on great. We highly recommend Natalia for any service as she was incredibly caring and loving towards our Molly during her stay :) We will definitely be using Natalia the next time we need Molly minded!”

“Gabrielle is absolutely amazing. From our first message here, to meeting our dogs, to them staying, to picking them up - she was nothing but the best. Our two twin brothers were so happy in her care. I can't recommend her enough, and if you're at all feeling anxious about leaving a pet for the first time, don't be with her - it will be the best first experience you could have. Loved getting updates and photos of how the boys were doing, and you could tell she was having as much fun as they were. Thank you Gabrielle!!!”
“Kinga is simply amazing! Always my first choice as she is patient, kind, and accommodating. My pup always loves staying with her and her gorgeous family!!! 🥰🐶👍🏼 You won’t be disappointed with her impeccable service!”

“Gerard was extremely communicative and shared updates throughout our dog's stay. He was on top of food and supplements our dog takes, and managed everything well and without any problems!”

“Star had a great time with Jorge! We got regular updates and pics from her walks. Jorge was great ensuring all elements of Star’s care was attended to. We would highly recommend Jorge and happily have him look after Star again.”
“Mary and Baolach looked after Odin brilliantly. We got regular updates and lovely photos throughout, so we never had to wonder how he was getting on. Their dog Scout became Odin’s playmate, and he loved every minute with him. We’d definitely book again!”

“This was Wally's second time staying with Amanda and her husband. They were very kind and responsible, and sent us pictures of Wally to let us know he was doing well. Would 100% recommend :)”

If I could give 100 stars I would. Buddy has just come home from his favourite Uncle Pablo:) he always comes back relaxed chilled out and a bit sad to be back with hisi mum and dad coz of all the fun he had while with Pablo. He definitely has the magic touch where Buddy is concerned. Thank you as always from Both of us.

Daniel & his lovely wife Jeaney and daughter just minded our French bulldog Margot for 11 days while we were away... They are such a lovely family & the peace of mind they gave me when I was away was priceless ! Margot was treated like their own & it's very clear they are dog lovers. Daniel gave updates almost daily which was wonderful to see while I was away. If I could give 100 stars 🌟 I would. Definitely will be using again whenever they are available to mind Margot again 😊

Jess looked after my 12 year old cockapoo Penny for our wedding weekend. Penny has always been a little nervous of new dogs so I was worried about how she would be with the other dogs Jess was minding, but I need nor have worried. I don't know what magic Jess has, but Penny was sleeping cuddled up to her doggie pals within hours. I cannot recommend Jess highly enough! She sent us so many pictures and reassured me that Penny was perfectly happy the entire time. Thank you Jess!! 🩷

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost of Dog Boarding in Naas is €31 per night as of November 2026. Most bookings cost between €25 and €53 per night.
On Rover, sitters set their own rates based on factors such as their experience, the length of care, the number of pets and your pet’s specific needs. As long as your booking dates and pet profiles are accurate, the pri ce s hown before you confirm is the total, including any booking fee.
As of November 2026, there are 459 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across the city of Naas. About 90% typically respond to requests within 60 minutes.
Enter your address and booking dates to see which sitters are available near you. You can also message multiple sitters to improve your chances of finding the right care.
Finding the right boarding environment is all about peace of mind. Boarding with a sitter on Rover helps you find a cosy experience in a real home for your dog.
When searching for a host, look for a sitter who:
- Offers a secure, home-like environment that is clean and welcoming
- Adheres to your dog’s established routine for meals, activity, and rest
- Possesses relevant experience with your pet’s specific breed, size, and personality
- Maintains clear communication regarding the frequency of photo and message updates
Don’t skip the Meet & Greet! The free Meet & Greet is the best way to see where your dog will sleep and who they might play with.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up to date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in Kildare ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis (Adenovirus), and Leptospirosis.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Some boarding sitters stay with the dogs in their care for most of the day, while others may step out for work, errands or other commitments. Each sitter’s schedule and the amount of time your dog may be left alone will vary, so it is important to agree expectations before the stay begins.
Before booking, tell the sitter how long your dog can comfortably be left alone and confirm their typical schedule during the stay. Adding the maximum number of hours your dog can be left alone to their profile can also help sitters decide whether they are the right match.
Boarding does not automatically include round-the-clock supervision. If your dog needs someone present at all times, ask whether the sitter offers constant care or 24/7 care. This may require a separate arrangement and may not be included in the sitter’s standard boarding rate.
Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.
Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.
For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three- or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
