About: In my home, every dog is treated with love, patience, and respect, just like a member of the family. I understand that every dog has its own personality and routine, so I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. My goal is not only to provide a safe and loving environment for the dogs I care for, but also to give my own dog, Boris, the opportunity to enjoy the company of other dogs. Boris is very friendly, well-socialized, and absolutely loves playing and spending time with other dogs. Whether it's playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing together, I make sure every dog receives plenty of attention, care, and affection. My priority is for every dog to feel at home while giving their owners complete peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I’m home during the mornings, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, companionship, and exercise. Every day, I take them for walks to Herbert Park, just a one-minute walk from our home. It's a beautiful, spacious park with plenty of green areas, perfect for walks and playtime. Our apartment building also has a large private garden where dogs can safely play, stretch their legs, and go to the toilet throughout the day. In the afternoons, my husband, Favio, is home. He loves dogs and makes sure they have everything they need, whether it's another walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. In the evenings, we're both home, so dogs are rarely left alone and always have plenty of love, attention, and companionship. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are always our top priorities. Every dog is treated with love, patience, and respect, just like a member of our family. We carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, daily routines, and any special requirements to ensure every dog feels comfortable and secure while staying with us. Our home is clean, calm, and dog-friendly, with access to a secure private garden for toilet breaks and supervised play. We also enjoy daily walks in the quiet, safe neighbourhood around Herbert Park. We share our home with our friendly Jack Russell, Boris, who loves meeting and playing with other dogs. If your dog enjoys socialising, they'll have a wonderful companion. If they prefer their own space, we always respect their personality and introduce them at their own pace. We want every dog to feel completely at home while they're with us. They're welcome on the sofa, and if they're used to sleeping on the bed with their owners, we have no problem with that. Our goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as they do in their own home.
“I just cannot recommend Lillian enough! It was our first time to leave Rosie with someone other then family so I was worried she wouldnt settle. Lillian quickly put my mind at ease and sent updates and pictures . Rosie had an amazing week with Lillian and Pepsi and will definitely be back again”

“Joyce was great. Super easy to deal with and quick to respond. Really nice way with dogs and I could see from the pictures that Trixie settled in really well really quickly. I was clear that Joyce has a natural love for dogs and a way with them. Would absolutely recommend. ”
“Nadine and Raphael were fantastic. Our dog had an amazing time. She was looked after so well. She was brought to the beach, cliff walks and spent plenty of time in the park. Our dog is very high energy and she was well matched with Enzo. We'd highly recommend and book again in a heartbeat ☺️ They kept us updated everyday which really helped ease our nerves while away. Thanks so much guys!”
“Billy has stayed with Silvana on several occasions and is always well cared for and has a great time. He always gets very excited when he sees her. Silvana has been really accommodating and helpful when needed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sitter in the area.”

“Orla minded our 10-month-old dog Nell for 10 days recently. As it was Nell's first time to go to a dogminder we were quite concerned how she would settle in or if she would fret. However, we needn't have worried. Orla looked after Nell really well and kept us updated with texts and photos. Nell seemed to have enjoyed herself and returned to us happy and relaxed. Thank you, Orla.”

About: I love taking care of puppies with empathy, patience, and lots of love. I enjoy giving them quality time, making them happy, taking them for walks, and playing with them. I love having fun with them and making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. From Monday to Thursday, I am available to look after pets from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of time to give your pets attention, care, and company. At the moment, I can only take care of pets at their own home, as I currently live with several other people and don’t have enough space to host pets. I’d be happy to give your pet lots of love, attention, and care in their own home.
“This was our first time leaving our dog with a sitter, and we’re very happy we chose Chiara. We received many photos and videos, which helped us feel calm and confident that our dog was in safe and caring hands. Despite very rainy weather and even a storm, she took great care of the dogs, walking them in the inner courtyard and a dedicated dog area. They played ball, let the dogs run and play together, and even took our dog to a café. We’re extremely happy with the care and will definitely leave Margo with Chiara again!”

“I couldn’t recommend Dovile and her partner Josh enough! They took such amazing care of biggie and gave us such lovely updates everyday! He had the most wonderful stay with them both”

“Oliver and his family were very welcoming when they met Cosmo and I at an initial meet and greet. Their home is perfectly set up for pets as the living area leads directly out into the garden. It was very obvious very quickly that Oliver is a natural when it comes to connecting with dogs. Cosmo was immediately comfortable with Oliver and his family. I knew Cosmo would be in great hands. Oliver kept me up to date with photos and feedback which was extremely comforting for me and very much appreciated. It was great to see Cosmo enjoying her stay and that she was settling in without issue. I highly recommend Oliver to look after your dog if you want peace of mind and I will definitely be using Oliver again in the near future.”

About: I’ve always spend my time around animals and nature, and really enjoy caring for dogs, and cats.I love getting out for walks and learning animals unique personalities. I’m available for boarding throughout the week and over weekends. I live across from the park and so have amazing access to the park for our house visitors, ensuring lots of walking time! I have a full high fenced back garden, and have plenty of room for crates. I live on a quiet road across from a park.

“Sara was amazing from start to finish, she minded our dog for just under 2 weeks and he was so well cared for. We got regular updates and could see from the photos that he was so happy, plenty of walks, playtime and he favourite, cuddles on the couch (think he might have managed to get on Sara's bed too 🙈😆) Would happily recommend Sara, 10/10 service and her great care of Toby meant we could relax and enjoy our holiday knowing he was being so very well looked after 💛 Thanks Sara 💛”

About: I have experience caring for family dogs and have looked after many dogs over the years. I am comfortable with different breeds and personalities and always make sure dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I work from home, so I’ll be able to spend the whole day with the dog and take him/her for walks during my breaks. My boyfriend works until 4 p.m., so he’ll be home afterwards. We have a fenced yard with plenty of space for the dog to play and run around. Our neighbourhood is very quiet, and we have several parks nearby, which are perfect for walks and play.
About: Surrounded by animals my entire life (dogs, cats, and farm animals). My sister is a veterinarian in Brazil, which reinforces my commitment to animal welfare. I have always cared for my family's pets with genuine love and attention — walks, feeding, playtime, and affection. My home was a 'pet hotel' whenever my family traveled. I respect each animal's unique personality. I have two rescue dogs in Brazil who are my family. Ready to treat your pet as if it were my own. I work remotely, which gives me flexibility during the day to care for pets. I can provide walks, feeding, and companionship at times that work for you. I recently moved to Dublin and am establishing my routine, so I have availability to dedicate myself to pet care. My experience with multiple pets allows me to handle different needs — some require more attention, others prefer their own space. Your pet will receive quality time, regular walks, and genuine care. I offer flexibility in pet care. Having recently moved to Dublin, I can care for pets both at the owner's home and at mine (as needed and agreed). I'm experienced in hosting pets at my home — my family always used ours as a 'pet hotel' when traveling, and I treat each animal with the same care I give my own. I have two rescue dogs in Brazil (Sig and Jane, whom I'll bring to Dublin soon) and understand different animals' needs. If you prefer me to care for your pet at my place, I can provide walks, feeding, companionship, and playtime. If you prefer me to visit your home, I can do the same while maintaining your pet's routine. I work remotely, so I have availability to offer genuine attention in either setting

“Anita took great care of Nico over the weekend. She kept me updated, was very kind and patient with him, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. I would happily recommend her and wouldn't hesitate to book with her again.”

About: I have had dogs as a child and have been pet sitting for my friends and family for many years. I also have experience fostering with the DSPCA. I absolutely love the company of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I do have an indoor cat Mo in the home, he is mostly unbothered with dogs as long as they are not too interested in him! I currently work from home 4 days a week, so would love the company for daily cuddles and lunchtime and evening walks. My schedule is quite flexible week days and weekends I have a fenced back garden and also a big front garden if your fur baby likes to sit and watch the world go by. I also have a little indoor cat who is happy to peacefully co exist with most dogs
“Darren was great with my two dogs. They had a quick stay but from the pictures they were right at home. Great with their care and very helpful as one of the dogs needed some meds. Definitely will book again in the future!”

About: I love animals of all kinds. Growing up I always wanted to have a dog but my parents would not let me 🤭 Now as an adult I love taking care of other people’s animals ❤️ I love to walk everyday, so when I’m taking care of a pet I will take them with me on fun days outside. I work part-time in a flexible schedule, so I organize my routine based on the pets I'm taking care of. I've been taking care of both dogs and cats for 2 years. I live in a comfortable flat with my wife, with a small garden in the back and a fence. I have an organized home and a cleaning person who helps me from time to time

“Heitor Is awesome my little one loves him. She remembered him from last time so she started jumping which shows she likes him. That gave me comfort and regular updates with pictures also gave me peace of mind. 100% recommended without a doubt.”

Karen was absolutely amazing with our Border Collie, Nori! We had to travel to Italy for a wedding and were really struggling to find someone who was comfortable looking after an unspayed female, especially as there was a chance she could come into heat during our stay. Karen was a lifesaver! From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease, and Nori felt right at home with her. She took such great care of her and made sure she had everything she needed. It was clear that Nori was happy, relaxed, and very well looked after. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to leave Nori with, and we would absolutely trust Karen with her again in the future. Highly recommended! ❤️

Shawn and his family took excellent care of Chester for two nights. We received updates while we were away, and it was clear that Chester enjoyed his own mini break. We’d have no hesitation in booking Chester to stay again and definitely recommend Shawn as a great dog sitter!
Our dog, Rua, instantly reconnected with Joyce at the beginning of his latest short stay. He was so excited to see her again and they had some lovely adventures together. Joyce is so good with Rua and we feel lucky to have found a wonderful dog sitter that enjoys her time with him. See you again soon, Joyce.

Jaine was WONDERFUL with my dog Tucker. He is a very anxious dog but he melted into her immediately upon meeting. I booked Jaine very last minute and she was so gracious to host Tucker for the few days I needed. She was extremely communicative, providing multiple pictures and videos throughout the day and checking in every morning. Will absolutely send Tucker to Jaine the next time we are in Dublin. He came back happy and healthy in Jaine's care ☺️ thank you!

Wow! Natalia was fantastic! We were actually over in Dublin getting married and so Natalia was lovely enough to bring Dublin (the dog) over to the ceremony for a few hours. In the chaos of the whole weekend, she was reliable and friendly. Couldn’t be more thankful :)

Chiara was great with Bowie. We had a meet & great before the initial stay which left me feeling very relaxed & comfortable leaving my dog with Chiara. Chiara updated me daily with pics & videos which was great reassurance. Bowie had a great time & was very happy & relaxed when I came to pick her up. I would definitely use Chiara again :)
We have left our cockapoo Gary with Lorrayne a number of times, and every time I drop him he runs up to the front door, he is so happy to go! We get so many updates and pictures when he is there, he is taken on lots of walks and get so many cuddles. They are amazing! :)
Karen and Mark took great care of our pup while we were away, I would have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again. We received regular pics / videos, and it was very clear they loved and minded Bruno as they would one of their own. He came back looking very healthy and happy. We are beyond grateful 🐶

Anita took care of my five-month-old Chihuahua puppy for two weeks. It was the first time my puppy had been away from home since I got her, so naturally I was quite anxious about leaving her for that long. However, Anita did a phenomenal job, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My puppy came home noticeably more mature and settled. Some behaviours we had been struggling with before, particularly biting hands, had completely disappeared. Anita had even taught her new things, including staying in her bed and playing with a toy on command, which was such a lovely surprise. Throughout the two weeks, Anita kept me updated every day with messages, photos and videos, which gave me so much reassurance. It was also very apparent from the way she cared for my puppy that she genuinely loves animals and really enjoys spending time with them. I’m incredibly grateful to Anita and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their dog. I would leave my puppy with her again in a heartbeat.

Livi and her family were fantastic. They looked after Cali so well. Cali was really happy with Livi. I loved that Livi sent me updates and photos of my dog, letting me know that she was well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Livi and I will definitely ask her to mind Cali again.

Finding the right boarding environment is all about peace of mind. Boarding with a sitter on Rover helps you find a cosy experience in a real home for your dog.
When searching for a host, look for a sitter who:
- Offers a secure, home-like environment that is clean and welcoming
- Adheres to your dog’s established routine for meals, activity, and rest
- Possesses relevant experience with your pet’s specific breed, size, and personality
- Maintains clear communication regarding the frequency of photo and message updates
Don’t skip the Meet & Greet! The free Meet & Greet is the best way to see where your dog will sleep and who they might play with.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up to date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in Dublin ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis (Adenovirus), and Leptospirosis.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Many boarding sitters in Dublin can stay with their dogs most of the day, but it’s common for them to step out for short periods. Since every sitter’s schedule is unique, it’s important to agree on expectations before the stay begins. Adding the number of hours your dog can be alone to their profile will also help you find the right match.
If you are worried about your dog being alone, ask a sitter how they make a dog feel settled in a new environment. This can help your dog feel more comfortable.
If your dog cannot be left alone for more than a few hours, you may want to look for sitters who offer 24/7 care. Sitters who offer constant care are more likely to take on dogs who need frequent attention.
Every pet sitter, walker, and boarding sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cut-off time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will apply. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
