About: You can call me Tyra! I have a lifetime of hands-on experience, from growing up with dogs to working summers at my sister’s professional pet salon. I’ve cared for any fluffy babies ranging from high-energy puppies to gentle seniors, and have multiple experiences with pet sitting. I offer not just love and attention, but the trained eye to notice when something’s off because to me, they are family. Pet care fits naturally into my routine: I can work from home, so I’m around throughout the day for regular walks, playtime, and attention. Living near the heart of Dublin City Centre, I have easy access to dog-friendly paths and green spaces, making daily walks a joy for both me and the pups I care for. Whether it’s a quick stroll or a long outing, I love weaving pet care seamlessly into my everyday life. When caring for pets in my home, I aim to create a calm, cozy environment where they can feel safe. Through routine walks, play, and cuddles, I keep a consistent schedule for feeding, bathroom breaks, and downtime. Always tuned in to their individual needs and personality.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and love animals deeply. Living in Dublin, I can’t have one yet, but I’d love caring for yours, especially weekends. 🐾 Plenty of walks, cozy home time and a relaxed schedule just like mine. Available on weekend and I’ll dedicate plenty of time to your dogs. My home is brand new, fully secure and ideal for dogs used to indoor living, and no possibility of escaping. Garden right downstairs for quick potty breaks

“First day when Lua arrived in Gerard’s house I knew she would enjoy, she looks like very happy with him, she had plenty of walk and Gerard updated me with photos every day. I would recommend him always. 🐾”

“This was our first time leaving our dog with a sitter, and we’re very happy we chose Chiara. We received many photos and videos, which helped us feel calm and confident that our dog was in safe and caring hands. Despite very rainy weather and even a storm, she took great care of the dogs, walking them in the inner courtyard and a dedicated dog area. They played ball, let the dogs run and play together, and even took our dog to a café. We’re extremely happy with the care and will definitely leave Margo with Chiara again!”

About: I have always loved animals and I am a responsible, caring and patient person. I enjoy spending time with dogs, going for walks, playing and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I pay attention to each dog’s routine and needs, and I will treat your pet with love and care as if they were my own. I currently work part-time, so I still have plenty of time to care for pets and give them lots of attention. During the week, I am available in the mornings until 10 AM and again after 6 PM. On weekends, I am available full-time. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, going for walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care. I currently provide pet care only in the owner’s home, so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and keep their normal routine. I am a very responsible, caring, and trustworthy person, and I truly love spending time with dogs. My own dog is currently in Brazil, which made me miss being around pets even more. I can also take dogs for walks, play with them, give them lots of attention, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“Highly Highly recommend lorrayne. She took the best care of Our callie for 2 days . I was so nervous leaving her but lorrayne kept me updated loads with lovely photos and videos . I cannot thank her enough . Such a lovely girl. Callie had the best time with her . And missing her already 😢 thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕”

“Such a trustworthy person my billy is happier than ever deserves all the 5 stars I definitely would recommend to my family and friends whenever they need their dog to be minded or to have a walk, thanks a million.❤️”
“Nadine and Raphael were fantastic. Our dog had an amazing time. She was looked after so well. She was brought to the beach, cliff walks and spent plenty of time in the park. Our dog is very high energy and she was well matched with Enzo. We'd highly recommend and book again in a heartbeat ☺️ They kept us updated everyday which really helped ease our nerves while away. Thanks so much guys!”

“Heitor Is awesome my little one loves him. She remembered him from last time so she started jumping which shows she likes him. That gave me comfort and regular updates with pictures also gave me peace of mind. 100% recommended without a doubt.”

“⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cant begin to put into words how great Jaine is with dogs. My dog would be on the more difficult side with separation anxiety, medications, behavioural issues with other dogs and she’s a big dog too. I was very open about my dog and her needs and I am always nervous with her going to minders cause she can fret and be anxious. Jaine had such patience with my dog and was really calm and I think my dog picked up off that and was calm too. I got photos and messages throughout my stay and my dog never looked happier. my dog who hates cats even befriended her cat Jaine introduced them gradually and they got comfortable this was remarkable. I cannot recommend and thank Jaine enough. 🩷”
“Isobel was amazing with my dog Chula; she made note of Chula's usual routine, food, snacks etc, sent photos throughout Chula's stay without me having to ask. Isobel was really easy to communicate with and arrange the booking. Chula will definitely be back!”

About: I'm a part-time writer who's originally from the USA but has lived in Ireland for close to four decades. I grew up in a house full of dogs, from collies to Saint Bernards, and learned to handle various dogs as a paperboy. Today I live in Drumcondra in central Dublin with partner Dawn and 16-year-old son Harry. Our home is missing our beloved Fonzie, our rescue dog of 17 years, who passed away in 2024. I've been thinking about taking up dog walking/boarding ever since, in part because I'm an avid walker (and no longer an avid writer!). On my near-daily walks I'm always talking to fellow hikers with dogs, and it just seems a missed opportunity not to have a dog with me, too. So I'm open to tailoring walks that really suit your dog, even daylong adventures with a picnic somewhere nice in the middle. If your dog would be staying overnight, or longer, it'll be even better, because my partner Dawn is the true dog fanatic in the family. It'll be nonstop cuddles once she's home. One key commitment from me is that your dog will feel at home, in a family environment, and will never be left alone. That includes nighttime, when I'll be sleeping in the living room nearby your dog (who I am betting will get a particularly good night's sleep, despite the unfamiliar environment, given all the exercise!). Because of our experience caring for Fonzie, who had mobility issues in her final years, I've also got a soft spot for looking after older dogs. I certainly won't be pushing your dog to walk more than he or she wants. We'll make sure the activity level/duration is appropriate for age, breed and overall health, following your own instructions closely. I'm a freelance writer, with the freedom to pick (or skip) assignments given that I'm approaching retirement age and frankly more interested in getting out for my own daily walk! If your dog is with me, I won't be getting distracted by work. We'll just walk somewhere nice and meet some other dogs along the way. In my home, your dog will be encouraged to sleep on a dog bed in the living room, but I'm not precious. We do have a comfy and well-worn leather sofa that Fonzie certainly preferred and your dog will be welcome to it, if the dog bed doesn't appeal. I'll stay overnight in the living room with your dog. I'll want to keep my visitor company and ensure there's no wimpering. For any quick potty breaks, we have parkland directly outside our home, so we'll go out at night and first thing in the morning, get some food, and then perhaps head out for a longer walk with snacks in the backpack. If you need me to look after your dog overnight in your own home, I'll simply follow whatever your instructions are. I'm a man of simple tastes, so you won't need to make any special accommodations for me.

“Bishka took amazing care of my baby Belle while i was away, gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in safe hands & also loved being sent photos / videos over the weekend made missing her a lot easier! Would highly recommend:)”

“Remi had another wonderful stay with Aisha. He has a sore paw at the moment and Aisha took extra special care of him while he recovers. He loves staying with Aisha and she is so caring and loving to him. Would 100% recommend her as a dog sitter!”
“Gustavo and Catarina did a great job looking after Ollie. It was clear that they enjoyed having him too which makes the whole experience a lot easier for all. I highly recommend Gustavo's home for your pet. ”

“Daniel minded our rescue Alfie when we were away for an event. He was wonderful with Alfie, a real dog lover, brought him for great walkies. He has a great space and is a real natural with dogs. Alfie is looking forward to his next adventure with Daniel!”
“Oliver and his family were very welcoming when they met Cosmo and I at an initial meet and greet. Their home is perfectly set up for pets as the living area leads directly out into the garden. It was very obvious very quickly that Oliver is a natural when it comes to connecting with dogs. Cosmo was immediately comfortable with Oliver and his family. I knew Cosmo would be in great hands. Oliver kept me up to date with photos and feedback which was extremely comforting for me and very much appreciated. It was great to see Cosmo enjoying her stay and that she was settling in without issue. I highly recommend Oliver to look after your dog if you want peace of mind and I will definitely be using Oliver again in the near future.”

About: I have 10 years of experience caring for a Yorkshire Terrier, which gave me a strong understanding of dogs and their individual needs. I also spent time teaching my dog different tricks, so I’m patient, attentive, and enjoy interacting with pets in a positive and engaging way. Besides dogs, I’ve also cared for other animals, so I’m very familiar with different personalities and special care routines. I also have experience looking after other people’s pets, including cats, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I’m available on weekends and can give your pet my full attention and care throughout the day. I offer weekend boarding from Friday to Sunday, making sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved like at home. During the week, I’m available in the afternoons from 4:00 PM onwards for walks, visits, or pet sitting. On weekends, your pet will enjoy daily walks every few hours in a nearby park where they can explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors. I also provide lots of cuddles, playtime, and attention, so they’ll always feel entertained, happy, and cared for while staying with me. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I don’t have any pets at home, so you won’t need to worry about your dog feeling stressed or uncomfortable around other animals. Your pet will be able to relax freely and safely anywhere in my home. Although I don’t have a garden, I make sure every dog gets plenty of outdoor time, exercise, and fresh air through regular walks and playtime. I’ll always ensure your pet has enough activity, attention, and care to feel happy, entertained, and comfortable during their stay with me. I also understand how important it is for owners to feel reassured while away from their pets. If you would like, I can stay in contact with you during your pet’s stay, giving you updates on how they are doing, the walks we’ve been on, and sending photos so you can feel connected and at ease. I always try to create a calm, loving, and trustworthy environment where pets can feel at home and owners can have peace of mind knowing their furry friend is in safe hands.
Dublin dog owners share their Rover experiences
Daniel from start to finish was fantastic in every way. He took such great care of Max, I could see Max felt so at home with him. He walked him so much and they enjoyed a lot of outside time together which Max loves. Daniel was so friendly and kept me updated at least 3 times per day with videos and photos which was also great and put me at costant ease. Overall, i cannot recommend Daniel enough. Friendly, caring and Max came home so happy!
Matthew did an exceptional job looking after Maple while I was away. From our first meeting, he was professional, friendly, and clearly experienced with dogs, which immediately put me at ease. Throughout the stay, Matthew provided regular updates and photos, allowing me to relax knowing Maple was in safe hands. Maple came home happy, well cared for, and clearly enjoyed her time with him. It is never easy leaving your dog behind, but Matthew made the entire experience stress-free. His genuine care, reliability, and attention to detail were evident from start to finish. I would highly recommend Matthew to anyone on Rover looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter in Dublin. I will definitely be booking with him again in the future.
Can't recommend Marina enough! She is so lovely and took such good care of Maggie. Great communication and happy to organise a meet & greet prior to Maggie staying with her. Sent us pictures and videos while we were away. Maggie didn't want to come home! 😂😂 Thanks Marina!

Hana was very responsive from the start, meeting with us to introduce herself to our dog before the booking. She was attentive and patient with our dog's needs. We felt confident leaving our dog with Hana, and our dog seemed to like her! We will definitely book Hana again in the future.

I was so very lucky to have found Grasiela to mind my boy. A typcal Frenchie, he can be boisterous, and in constant need of attention. He also has his own way of doing things, so where he goes a list of instructions accompany him. Grasiela handled it all with ease, with regular updates for me, it was easy to see how much he enjoyed his stay. I returned to a happy, healthy dog. Many thanks to Grasiela and William. I can most definitely recommend them, and won't hesitate to leave my dog with them again.
Djenifer and her partner looked after our Shiba puppy for the long weekend, and both of them took great care of her! Djenifer has dogs back home, so she knows how to cater for our fussy puppy's needs: fed her according to instruction, played with her and walked her. She also sent us loads of videos and images which was very reassuring, and always checked with us what our preferences are. Tae came back to us in a very happy mood. I 100% recommend Djenifer to all pet owners!

Robyn was a dream minder. She really helped us out last minute, and was the perfect person to mind our border collie Púca for a couple of days. Her and her family have a great home with a garden where dogs have space to chill and play. Púca had sprained his leg a day before we dropped him off and they gave him medicine daily and adjusted his walk pattern, being perfectly accommodating. She sent updates, pics and was a great communicator. Would recommend and definitely use again if I’m in Dublin with Púca.

We couldn’t be happier with the care Karen provided for our dog, Alfie, while we were away for a family event for two nights. From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear that Karen treated Alfie just as he is treated at home, with so much love, care, and attention. Karen went above and beyond to make sure Alfie was comfortable and happy, and it was obvious from the updates she sent that he was having a fantastic time. We really appreciated receiving regular photos and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to see just how much he was enjoying himself. It’s clear that Karen genuinely loves animals and takes the time to get to know each dog in her care. We returned to a happy, relaxed Alfie, which says it all. We will definitely be using Karen’s services again in the future and would highly recommend her to any fellow paw parents looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive to look after their furry family member. Thank you Karen, from Mark & Clodagh.

So grateful to Nadine and Raphael for looking after Winnie so well! She had a brilliant time and seemed to really enjoy hanging out with her pals Maya and Alfie. We got regular updates, which was very much appreciated. Nadine and Raphael are lovely and you can tell they enjoy looking after the dogs in their care. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again, or to recommend them.

Lorraine and Francini minded my 2 dogs, Liam and Floki, for 4 days and I couldn’t be happier with the care they gave them. They sent loads of pictures and videos every day, which really helped me relax and see that the dogs were happy and settled. There were also other dogs around for them to play with, which they clearly enjoyed. Liam is very nervous around new people, but Lorraine and Francini were so patient with him and gave him the time and space he needed until they earned his trust. That meant a lot to me. Both Liam and Floki came back happy and well looked after. I’d definitely recommend Lorraine and Francini and would happily leave my dogs with them again.
