About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since secondary school, I have a dog (mini golden doodle, Violet) at home who I love so much! I moved from the USA to Ireland for university and am looking to spend time with some furry friends. I also have experience dog sitting and walking! I am working a hybrid internship, so I am pretty flexible throughout the week. Weekends are also perfect timing for me. I live near the city center so everywhere is pretty accessible for me! I make sure there is a fence in the yard if the dog can play off the lead and I make sure to provide plenty of treats and water according to the owners dietary info.

About: You can call me Tyra! I have a lifetime of hands-on experience, from growing up with dogs to working summers at my sister’s professional pet salon. I’ve cared for any fluffy babies ranging from high-energy puppies to gentle seniors, and have multiple experiences with pet sitting. I offer not just love and attention, but the trained eye to notice when something’s off because to me, they are family. Pet care fits naturally into my routine: I can work from home, so I’m around throughout the day for regular walks, playtime, and attention. Living near the heart of Dublin City Centre, I have easy access to dog-friendly paths and green spaces, making daily walks a joy for both me and the pups I care for. Whether it’s a quick stroll or a long outing, I love weaving pet care seamlessly into my everyday life. When caring for pets in my home, I aim to create a calm, cozy environment where they can feel safe. Through routine walks, play, and cuddles, I keep a consistent schedule for feeding, bathroom breaks, and downtime. Always tuned in to their individual needs and personality.

About: I’m a lifelong pet lover dedicated to providing gentle, attentive care for animals of all ages. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet, so I make every visit calm, fun, and reassuring. Daily updates, photos, and lots of cuddles included! I've taken care of dogs before, mostly for my family and friends. Some of the dogs were old and a few were almost blind. It is a difficult process, but they still need treat and cuddles so they feel comfortable. I also enjoy walking them. Regarding to cats, I've taken care of my own cats and from my family's. I can administer oral medication and play with them. I study in the mornings and work in the afternoons, until 6pm, from Monday to Saturday. I'm free after 6pm. On Sundays I'm free all day. It will a pleasure to spend hours with the little furry guys. I can spend up to 2 hours with them daily. On Sunday I can dedicate my entire time for them. I don't care pets in my own home, since a I share with other people. I go to the owner's home. I take notes of all instructions you give me, regarding to your pets, if they need special treatment, and about the house, specifically careful about opened doors and windows.

About: Hi everyone. I'm Irvin, a 36 years old Mexican currently living in Ireland and studying English in the mornings. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, because I know exactly how I would want my own dog to be treated: with so much love, patience and a lot of attention. The dog in my profile picture is Ruffo, a 7 years old schnauzer who taught me that life without a four-legged friend isn't life at all. Being away from him made me realize how much I genuinely love being around animals, and that's one of the reasons I decided to become a pet sitter here. I have more than 10 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments. I'm a kind, sensitive, and very responsible person who loves animals. I offer in-home pet sitting and walking services. I'm happy to get covered in fur, take them on fun walks and play a lot with them. I can take care of cats as well. In addition, I have training to give medicaments to pets, to apply inyections and wash them. Of course I can adapt to the owners' rules. With me, your pet will be treated like family, because is the less I expect for a pet sitter. About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 3 years old; my parents introduced me to this passion. As an adult, I even had 4 Chow Chows at home, which made me almost an expert in training, bathing, and grooming. Later, I took some courses to improve my skills in bathing and grooming My daily and weekly routine is quite full, but on Friday mornings I'm free all weekend. And maybe I can sleep in during the week Unfortunately, I am currently unable to host your dog at my home, so it would be a pleasure to care for him at your home where he feels most comfortable.

About: I have always had pets at home, including my own dog and two cats. Taking care of them has been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. In addition to my own pets, I often look after the animals of my friends and family because I love playing with them and making sure they feel happy and cared for. Additionally, I volunteered at an animal shelter for 8 months, where I gained valuable experience caring for a variety of animals and learned even more about their needs and wellbeing. This hands-on experience has taught me a lot about pet care and responsibility, and I’m excited to offer that same loving attention to your furry friends! I finish work at 4 PM on weekdays, so I’m available to care for pets in the afternoons and evenings. I don’t work on weekends, which means I have full availability to spend quality time with your pets during those days. This schedule allows me to give them plenty of attention, playtime, and care without rushing. I always make sure to follow the owner’s instructions carefully and keep the pets in a safe and comfortable environment. I pay close attention to any specific needs or routines, including feeding times, medication, and exercise. I also keep an eye on the home to ensure everything stays secure and clean while I’m caring for the pets. My priority is to make both the animals and their homes feel safe and loved.

About: I absolutely ADORE dogs (& cats) and I'm in Dublin weekly (for rehearsals) over the next month or two so what better way for me to spend my extra time than to care for some great pets. I'm great at training and I will follow your directions to the T. Having my own dog (and many other animals for years) | know how important it is to keep up your pets routine and habits while you're away to minimize any stress. I know owners and pets have their own special needs. I'm able to do as many or as little walks as your pup needs and happy to visit dog parks if you furry friend needs to run around. House sitting suits too. I have my own dog who’ll be home, looked after in Ardara while I’m in Dublin - he loves all other animals and is 100% up to date on his vaccinations. I was also a volunteer at SunCoast Animal League. I’m in Dublin for rehearsals a couple of nights a week. Rehearsals last 2-3 hours so my days are free aside from an occasional zoom call so plenty of time for visits, walks, playtime & pics I’m follow your instructions to the T. I will send pics, texts and updates so you can rest assured your little one is happy

We couldn’t be happier with the care Tatiana and Michael provided for our Chow-chow Saiko while we were away for the weekend! 🐾 From the very start, they were incredibly organised, attentive, and thorough — exactly the kind of people you want looking after your furry family member. What truly stood out was how often they kept us updated with photos and videos throughout the weekend. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Saiko was in such loving, capable hands. Saiko clearly had a wonderful time, and so did we — fully relaxed, knowing he was being so well looked after. We wholeheartedly recommend Tatiana and Michael to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional dog sitter. We will absolutely be calling on them again! 🐶

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and Walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for last-minute bookings for Dog Walking. With 823 Walkers in Dublin, 32% respond to messages in under 5 minutes.

Many sitters keep their calendars updated in real time and you can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care in the next 24 hours, you can look for sitters with a 'calendar last updated' notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cut-off time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will apply. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
