I am currently a full-time Masters student studying Library and Information Sciences, so most of my time is spent either in the library (or, in all honesty, on my couch) trying to catch up on lecture readings and notes, or taking myself for a walk through Herbert Park to keep sane. The majority of my time is fairly flexible, without having many obligations other than two or three classes per week, which allows me to be home with my head in a book most of the time.

Safety, trust & environment
When I was a teenager, most summer breaks were spent hopping from one friend or family’s home to another to care for their animals and watch over their space, which enabled me to see how to properly care for others’ animals from a young age. Living close to Herbert Park and the Sandymount Strand, I love going on walks, especially when the weather is favorable, and love a good game of tug-of-war or fetch! Whether your fur-baby is extremely outgoing and playful, or shy and timid, I try to match their energy as best I can so the ‘new person’ experience is as easy as possible for them.
Information Kylah K. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know your schedule so that way I can keep your pet on the same schedule and avoid more confusion to them than necessary. As well, if they are leash trained, crate trained, and if they are social on walks or prefer to just be with their human and avoid others.
A typical day
Most days are spent reading, studying, or trying to get outside when the weather permits! I love to hang out in the park if it’s sunny, or cuddle on the bed with a new book, and everything in between. Playtime is always a must — and I apologize if a few too many treats get eaten — just as well as a nice nap in the sun.

Looking for some pawsome friends!
Pet care experience
Some people don't consider pets to be a part of their family, but I am not one of them. Growing up, my family had 2 cats, and then, when I was four, we brought home an Italian Greyhound, Bella. I had always had a soft spot for my furry friends, but since then, my love for animals has been a huge part of my life. In secondary school, I volunteered at my local animal shelter helping to socialize surrendered dogs, care for them, and even ended up fostering three that needed a bit of extra attention. When I turned 16, I began house-sitting/pet-sitting for friends and family, spending most of my summer breaks going from one house to another as everyone went on holidays. In my pictures, you'll find one of my favourite regulars: Gunner, an Australian Shepard, and his brother bunnies, Bagel and Basil. I've helped care for many animals and many age ranges, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who have medication and mobility needs, kittens, cats, and even bunnies! I have so much extra love to give as I cannot see my pup (the very smiley black double-doodle featured in many of my pictures, he’s having fun in California), and I would love the opportunity to provide the family-level care that your pet(s) deserve. Since I can’t see my best boy back in America, I’m here looking to provide a helping hand mostly to get my fur-baby fix for the genuine love of animals! I have a full drivers license & small car, for bookings outside of main dublin center (further than fairview, drumcondra, rialto, rathgar, and blackrock radius), a small extra fee for petrol may occur.

Kylah is a natural with dogs. It was love at first sight for Gus! She’s kind, trustworthy and got a lot of experience with dogs. Thank you so much !

Keylah was absolutely wonderful! She took great care of my pet and kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared and treated my pet very well.

Kylah looked after our dog so well, over and beyond expectations, and shared photos regularly. She genuinely loves and cares for dogs.
