About: Hi, my name is Emma. I’m a primary school teacher with a naturally calm and caring personality, that both children and animals settle into easily. I’m based in Naas, but I have a car and can travel to surrounding areas if needed. Animals have been a big part of my life — my family dog, Squash, was adopted from the DSPCA as a puppy, and I also had a cat named Stormy. I’ve previously done pet sitting in Scotland for both cats and dogs, giving me hands‑on experience with different routines, temperaments, and home environments. I offer dog walking, cat check‑ins, doggy day care (at my home or yours), and 24‑hour care for longer trips away. If your pet comes to stay at my house, we have a secure back garden for playtime and easy access to nearby fields where dogs can be taken out for long, safe walks. During day‑care or overnight stays, I follow your pet’s usual routine — feeding times, toilet breaks, play sessions and any house rules you want kept consistent. I am comfortable mananging up to 2 dogs at a time & I am happy to support nervous/ shy animals. In case of any emergencies, I would contact you immediately, follow your vet instructions, and if needed, drive your pet to the nearest clinic. My priority is always your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re gone! I’m available full‑time throughout the summer while I’m on school holidays, so your pet will never be left alone for long periods. About: I have 25+ years of experience providing pet services and have been caring for animals all my life. Brought up with cats, horses, dogs, guinea pigs, chickens and cows, I am comfortable with the varying personalities and needs of every pet I take care of, including the administration of medication. Throughout my time as a volunteer in Africa, I had the honor of leading a vaccination campaign that benefited over 1,400 animals and 110+ farmers and their families. Working hands-on with livestock owners and veterinarians to improve animal health strengthened my belief in patience, attentiveness, and the importance of routine care for the holistic health of animals. I am also a keen gardener and beekeeper, which adds to my love of spending time outdoors and tending to living things. Growing up on a farm, I understand the importance of caring for animals. I will treat your animal(s) as if they were my own, with the love and care I would expect someone to do for mine. I’m able to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it’s cuddle breaks or outdoor play in the yard, your pet will never feel alone or overlooked. Their needs are part of my schedule, not an afterthought—so you can feel confident they’re getting consistent love and care every step of the way. Your pets are happiest in the place they know best, so I’m happy to care for them in the comfort of their own home. I’ll keep their usual routines as consistent as possible, from mealtimes and walks to playtime, cuddles, and plenty of attention. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing with their favourite toys, or simply relaxing on the sofa, I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Staying in their own home also means they can enjoy their familiar surroundings, favourite sleeping spots, and all the little comforts they’re used to. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pets—by giving them the love, care, and companionship they’re accustomed to, right where they feel most at home.

About: I’ve had pets all my life, and that has taught me to treat them as my best friends. I've worked as a pet sitter in Brazil and I’ve been working with, in Dublin for 2 years. I speak English fluently and I've got all the skills to make sure pet owners have a smooth and easy-going experience. I think the most important thing for a good pet sitter is to love animals and understand their individual needs. They need our care and attention, and should be treated as our best friends. Over the last 2 years working as a pet sitter in Dublin, most of the animals I looked after were cats. I get on very well with them and know how to respect each one’s temperament and personality; I believe this is important when it comes to cats. I'm pretty flexible, so we can figure out the best timetable and payment methods that work for you. I’m sure I can be your next permanent pet sitter, making your life as a tutor easier. Roberta I’m pretty flexible, so I prefer to talk about time and everything in advance, to make sure the tutors have a smooth, easygoing experience. I always heard the tutors instructions carefully and adapt all to the needs of each pet. I reckon that each pet has very specific needs, so it’s more important to me to heard the tutor so I can adapt myself to provide an easy and trustworthy experience.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always felt happiest outdoors with them. From walking German Shepherds to spending time with my family’s Great Dane and sheep dogs, I’ve had plenty of experience with different sizes and temperaments. I currently live in an apartment with my two cats, so I can’t have a dog of my own — which is why I love the chance to share adventures with other people’s dogs. I’m at my best on the trails. I offer dog walks and hikes that can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and needs. Whether your dog prefers a gentle wander or a proper hike with plenty of sniffing and exploring, I’m happy to match the pace. I always bring water, treats (if approved), and plenty of patience. My work schedule is flexible — I work 2–3 days a week — so I usually have 4–5 days free for walks. The exact days aren’t fixed, which means I’m best suited to owners who can be a little flexible with timing. I’m reliable, calm, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the outdoor time and company they deserve. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like a hiking buddy and make their walks something they look forward to, I’d love to meet them. I work 2–3 days a week, which means I have 4–5 days free for pet care. My available days aren’t fixed, so I’m best suited to owners who can be a little flexible with timing. I’m happy to fit walks or visits around both our schedules & will always confirm availability in advance. I live in an apartment with my two cats, so I don’t offer boarding at my home. For dog walking & drop-in visits I come to your home or meet you nearby. I’m calm, careful, & always prioritise your pet’s comfort & safety. I’ll follow any routines, medication needs, or special instructions you give me, & I’ll send updates so you know how everything is going.
About: I’ve had animals all throughout my entire life, ranging from hamsters to rabbits to dogs and currently own two wonderful pups. I’m skilled at helping my dogs de-stress and calming them down, while also allowing them to explore their playful side whenever they want to. I’ve previously worked as a dog walker in my local area when I was 16. Caring for animals is deeply embedded into my DNA as my parents passed that trait onto me. I’m a student who can work part-time and is free on weekends, but I can do the occasional weekday provided it fits my college schedule. I own two dogs, two rabbits and a cat. I’m experienced with all types of animals and breeds and can easily adapt to the temperament of said animal, so nothing is off of the table. Making sure that animals in my care are happy and healthy is my number one priority.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Dog Walking easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Dog Walking.
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-to-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Naas. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighbourhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
Tip: Keep in mind that many cities require your dog walker to have a permit or licence for group walks.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poo breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Naas after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.
Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the walker is the right fit before booking.
For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
Yes, you can find sitters who can respond to your messages in under 5 minutes. To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent 'calendar last updated' notice on their profiles.
Walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three- or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
