About: Growing up, I’ve always had family dogs. We’ve had multiple breeds throughout the years. I’ve minded family and friends dogs too, feeding and walking them. It’s the first time in my life without my own dog, so looking to care for and cuddle dogs without the commitment! I am a registered nurse. I work three days a week, Monday to Sunday. I also work nights. My schedule can be flexible as I can have multiple days off in a row. I live in a stand alone house. It is not fenced in, however when outside I can always keep a lead on your dog. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I do have a cat, her name is Sid. She is both an indoor and outdoor cat. She can easily stay outside through your dogs stay if that makes you comfortable. She is used to dogs and usually doesn’t pay them any attention.

About: I’ve had a love for dogs since I was young. I have taken care, fed and walked neighbours and family’s dogs over the years. I have also fostered puppies over time. The reason I don’t have any pets myself is because I live away from home for college so I wouldn’t be able to care for the animal. Hence why I enjoy being able to take care of pets when I am more flexible during the summer. I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to play with your animal. I would need three days notice prior to scheduling in. In my home, I have a secure, fully fenced garden with a low gate, perfect for safe play and fresh air. Indoors, pets have cozy, clean spaces to relax, with plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I maintain a calm and pet-friendly environment, keeping routines as close to their normal as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully, ensure doors and gates are always secure, and respect the pet’s space while keeping things tidy and stress-free. There is also no other pets in my house.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 7 years and my own baby Coco for 9 and 1/2 years. I have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments. As well as indoor and outdoor cats. I have experience with older dogs who require hand feeding, eye drops, medication etc. I have my own transportation and would love to bring your dog out on nature walks. I cater to all activity levels, slow sniffy walks, brisk walks, and running. And of course I’ll provide updates and photos of your baby while you’re away. ✅ Garda Vetted I have a fully free schedule so I can give your fur baby all the attention they need. I’m available for walks, drop-ins and sitting 7 days a week. I can make sure your pet sticks to their usual routine and receive lots of playtime, exercise and care. I have a fully fenced garden as well as reliable transportation. I always prioritise making pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for and I take the time to learn their routine, personality and any special requirements. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos.

I also have my own miniature Dachshund, Ollie, who is a huge part of my life 🐾 I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone you trust, and I would treat your dog with the same care, attention and love that I give my own. I am also available for walks, drop-in visits and pet care around Maynooth/Leixlip/Celbridge/Kilcock at weekends. I am happy to work around your pet’s routine where possible and can discuss specific times when booking The safety and wellbeing of your pet is always my priority. Before a walk, I make sure I understand your dog’s routine, personality and any specific needs or instructions. I will always use the lead and walking equipment you provide and keep your dog safely under control, choosing routes that are suitable for them. For home visits, I will treat your home with the same care and respect I would expect in my own. I will make sure doors, gates and windows are securely closed and that your pet has everything they need before I leave. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I will keep you updated during visits and walks and let you know if I notice anything unusual. My aim is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you are away🐾

About: I’ve had pets all my life, and that has taught me to treat them as my best friends. I've worked as a pet sitter in Brazil and I’ve been working with, in Dublin for 2 years. I speak English fluently and I've got all the skills to make sure pet owners have a smooth and easy-going experience. I think the most important thing for a good pet sitter is to love animals and understand their individual needs. They need our care and attention, and should be treated as our best friends. Over the last 2 years working as a pet sitter in Dublin, most of the animals I looked after were cats. I get on very well with them and know how to respect each one’s temperament and personality; I believe this is important when it comes to cats. I'm pretty flexible, so we can figure out the best timetable and payment methods that work for you. I’m sure I can be your next permanent pet sitter, making your life as a tutor easier. Roberta I’m pretty flexible, so I prefer to talk about time and everything in advance, to make sure the tutors have a smooth, easygoing experience. I always heard the tutors instructions carefully and adapt all to the needs of each pet. I reckon that each pet has very specific needs, so it’s more important to me to heard the tutor so I can adapt myself to provide an easy and trustworthy experience.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always felt happiest outdoors with them. From walking German Shepherds to spending time with my family’s Great Dane and sheep dogs, I’ve had plenty of experience with different sizes and temperaments. I currently live in an apartment with my two cats, so I can’t have a dog of my own — which is why I love the chance to share adventures with other people’s dogs. I’m at my best on the trails. I offer dog walks and hikes that can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and needs. Whether your dog prefers a gentle wander or a proper hike with plenty of sniffing and exploring, I’m happy to match the pace. I always bring water, treats (if approved), and plenty of patience. My work schedule is flexible — I work 2–3 days a week — so I usually have 4–5 days free for walks. The exact days aren’t fixed, which means I’m best suited to owners who can be a little flexible with timing. I’m reliable, calm, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the outdoor time and company they deserve. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like a hiking buddy and make their walks something they look forward to, I’d love to meet them. I work 2–3 days a week, which means I have 4–5 days free for pet care. My available days aren’t fixed, so I’m best suited to owners who can be a little flexible with timing. I’m happy to fit walks or visits around both our schedules & will always confirm availability in advance. I live in an apartment with my two cats, so I don’t offer boarding at my home. For dog walking & drop-in visits I come to your home or meet you nearby. I’m calm, careful, & always prioritise your pet’s comfort & safety. I’ll follow any routines, medication needs, or special instructions you give me, & I’ll send updates so you know how everything is going.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Dog Walking easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Dog Walking.
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-to-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Newbridge. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighbourhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
Tip: Keep in mind that many cities require your dog walker to have a permit or licence for group walks.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poo breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Newbridge after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.
Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the walker is the right fit before booking.
For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
Yes, you can find sitters who can respond to your messages in under 5 minutes. To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent 'calendar last updated' notice on their profiles.
Walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three- or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
