About: I’ve had animals all throughout my entire life, ranging from hamsters to rabbits to dogs and currently own two wonderful pups. I’m skilled at helping my dogs de-stress and calming them down, while also allowing them to explore their playful side whenever they want to. I’ve previously worked as a dog walker in my local area when I was 16. Caring for animals is deeply embedded into my DNA as my parents passed that trait onto me. I’m a student who can work part-time and is free on weekends, but I can do the occasional weekday provided it fits my college schedule. I own two dogs, two rabbits and a cat. I’m experienced with all types of animals and breeds and can easily adapt to the temperament of said animal, so nothing is off of the table. Making sure that animals in my care are happy and healthy is my number one priority.

About: I have always had a strong love for dogs . I’ve grown up around many animals as a child. I currently have an 11 year old golden retriever who I adore. Willing to share my love for dogs through walking other dogs in my spare time❤️ I’m working working part-time after finishing my college degree in sport science in May. I enjoy walks daily and would love the company of a dog ! I have a dog , and my garden is very large in the country side. It is fenced off so very safe . I also have a field beside my house to allow them more room to play .
About: Hello! ♡ My name is Marguerite, and these are my two dogs, Barley Boo & Tedi Bear. Up until I had these two loves in my life, I was terrified of dogs because my sister and I had a bad experience with a dog when we were very young. When I had my two children, even though I was terrified of dogs, I understood what they meant to families, and I was always hearing how good dogs are for children. When my baby was 4, Tedi Bear came into our lives. Two and a half years later, during COVID, we had 5 pups – one of the best experiences of our lives, and of course we ended up keeping Barley Boo! I still can’t believe how differently I feel about dogs these days, and how strong my love for Barley Boo and Teddy Bear is. I’ve never been comfortable leaving my dogs in a kennel. I’m very lucky to have a wonderful dog minder, Mick, who I completely trust, but he is always booked up months in advance. For a long time now I’ve been saying that I really need to find a way to work with dogs. And then I thought, why not? So here I am with Boo & Bear - The Dog Brigade! I am currently completing a dog training course with Creedons College in Cork. By the end of the course, I will be a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. I don’t intend to stop there either; I fully intend to educate myself and learn as much as I can into the canine world just stopping there. I know what it feels like to leave your dogs when you have to go to work, go away on holidays, or simply can’t be with them. For me, the ultimate feeling of trust is leaving your children with your Mammy. That’s the feeling I want every dog owner to have when they leave their dog with The Dog Brigade. I want you to be able to walk away and think: “They’re okay. They’re happy. They’re loved. I don’t need to worry.” Because at The Dog Brigade, the love we have for Boo & Bear is the love we will have for yours. Whether you need someone to look after your dog while you're at work, somewhere wonderful for them to stay while you're on holiday, help with a new puppy, a great adventure for the day, or even someone to bring your best friend along to an important family occasion — I’m here to make life easier for you and more exciting for them. The Dog Brigade is our full-time venture, so we’re here for your doggos 7 days a week! Days with us are all about walks, adventures, playtime and plenty of cuddles, with lots of rest time in between. Whether you’re working, travelling or just have a busy day, you can relax knowing your best friend is safe and happy ❤️. At The Dog Brigade, your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness come first. Your dogs are welcomed into our home as part of the family, with plenty of time to rest and relax between walks and adventures. We care for your best friends just as we care for our own – with love, patience, attention and, most importantly, a safe and happy environment 🙌🦮❤️. For us, the ultimate feeling of trust is leaving your children with your Mammy. That’s the feeling I want every dog owner to have when they leave their dog with The Dog Brigade.
About: I’m very empathetic and can pick up on dogs emotions as I’ve had a dog since I was 10 years old. I’m reliable and committed to understanding pet care. I notice different body language and routines and especially health needs. I’m very patient and attentive and I love animals and would love to do it as a job At the moment I do two days in college which are Thursday 9:30-1:30 and Friday 9:30-11:30am. I work doing events and it varies with hours a lot but I would like to do this job and fit it into my daily routine as it’s something more suited to my personality. I’ve been caring for my dog, a 14 year old parson russel terrier since I was 10 years old. Over the years ive handled everything from daily walks and feeding to understanding their changing needs as they’ve gotten older. I make sure he gets plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and love while keeping up with health concerns and vet visits. Caring for my dog Teddy who is now senior has taught me how to adapt to different routines and patience. I spend all of my time with my dog when I’m home and treat him like my bestfriend
About: When your dog stays with us, they're getting two dedicated carers rather than one. My sister Bridget and I live together and are lifelong dog lovers with over 15 years' experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. We have experience with puppies, senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, and we're comfortable administering medication when required. We share our home with our own dog, Louie, and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with a beloved family member. Because there are two of us involved in your dog's care, they'll benefit from plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout their stay. We know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, so we'll care for them as if they were one of our own: keeping them safe, happy, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. My sister Bridget and I live together and both help care for the dogs staying with us, with flexible work schedules, there is almost always one of us home during the day. Your dog's safety and comfort are always our top priorities. We live in a quiet area with easy access outside and are fortunate to have several great parks and walking routes nearby. We never let dogs off lead unless we've discussed it with the owner and are completely confident in their recall. We're happy to follow your dog's existing routine and accommodate any preferences, quirks, dietary requirements, or medical needs to help them feel comfortable and secure while you're away.
About: I’ve had pets all my life, and that has taught me to treat them as my best friends. I've worked as a pet sitter in Brazil and I’ve been working with, in Dublin for 2 years. I speak English fluently and I've got all the skills to make sure pet owners have a smooth and easy-going experience. I think the most important thing for a good pet sitter is to love animals and understand their individual needs. They need our care and attention, and should be treated as our best friends. Over the last 2 years working as a pet sitter in Dublin, most of the animals I looked after were cats. I get on very well with them and know how to respect each one’s temperament and personality; I believe this is important when it comes to cats. I'm pretty flexible, so we can figure out the best timetable and payment methods that work for you. I’m sure I can be your next permanent pet sitter, making your life as a tutor easier. Roberta I’m pretty flexible, so I prefer to talk about time and everything in advance, to make sure the tutors have a smooth, easygoing experience. I always heard the tutors instructions carefully and adapt all to the needs of each pet. I reckon that each pet has very specific needs, so it’s more important to me to heard the tutor so I can adapt myself to provide an easy and trustworthy experience.

The average cost for Dog Walking in Trim on Rover is {{median_grand_total_num.as_currency}} per walk (as of {{date}}). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of Dog Walking easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Dog Walking.
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-to-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Trim. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighbourhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
Tip: Keep in mind that many cities require your dog walker to have a permit or licence for group walks.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poo breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Trim after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.
Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the walker is the right fit before booking.
For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
Yes, you can find sitters who can respond to your messages in under 5 minutes. To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent 'calendar last updated' notice on their profiles.
Walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three- or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
