About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life.Always had cats and just love them so much. I am taking care of dogs and cats from family and friends regularly and enjoy every second of it. I am a very clean and organized person, I will follow your instructions on taking care of your pet, because I understand how important they are to you and your pet. I will make sure to spend quality time with your pet and send pictures regularly. I’m working 4 days a week, and I am off every second weekend and an additional day during the week. I will update my availability regularly. I would even be able to visit the cat after work in the evening, and on my days off I can do morning and evenings whatever suits the best. I have a cat-friendly home for my cat, the windows are protected and I always make sure the windows are close and the place is safe for the cat. I love cuddling and playing with cats and just spending time with them.

About: I’m currently working 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. I do prefer pet sits on the weekend so I can attend to your pets needs on their time. Otherwise I usually do early morning visits (6-7am) or later evenings (7-10pm). I would definitely describe myself as an anxious person so ensuring that doors and windows are closed as needed, enduring nobody escapes during my visits / stays.

“Danii is an amazing dog sitter! I was nervous about leaving my dog with someone for 3.5 weeks, especially since shepherd dogs can be quite dramatic. But Danii exceeded all my expectations! She handled Woland’s singing during our meet and greet with such calmness, kept me updated daily, and took Woland on so many fun cow and sheep watching walks :D I couldn’t recommend her more. Both Woland and I are looking forward to having her care for him again.”

We left her with Natalia for 8 nights while we went on holiday, and she had such a fun time between daily walks, cuddles, playtimes, and even a day trip to Glendalough! We received daily updates of Molly through videos and pictures which made us feel very much at ease as we could see she was getting on great. We highly recommend Natalia for any service as she was incredibly caring and loving towards our Molly during her stay :) We will definitely be using Natalia the next time we need Molly minded!”

About: I grew up in Texas and we always had pets in our house. I would mind dogs for the families on our road and I loved it! Neighbours would describe me as honest, trustworthy, responsible, respectful and fun! I still mind pets occasionally for my friends but I miss doing it and would love the opportunity to mind your pet for you. I'm off work on Mondays and I work from home on Tuesday and Friday. I have a lot of flexibility with my job so there's no problem bringing fur babies for a walk or run if you prefer! Depending on my schedule, I'm open to boarding at the weekends. I am happy to have your pet indoors with me and my 5 year old son. My son is good with animals. I can crate train or I have a big, fenced back garden for your pet to run around in!

About: Growing up I have always owned dogs. My best friend (Ben) was the best doggo for 15 years. Sadly before I moved to Vancouver I had to let him go to doggy heaven. He was a beautiful Samoyed Husky with the most caring nature. Moved back from Vancouver now and was always pet sitting while living there ! I currently work monday-friday 8:30- 4:30 in a school so I mostly can look after your pet on the weekends but that can often be flexible due to school holidays I think it is important to remember that a pet is also someone's family member and they deserve lots of love and attention. We all love to get out and not be locked up and the same goes for our furry friends!(I think we know this after covid) . I would make sure they are given the correct food and hydrated aswell as some cuddles and play time ! It is important to keep our pets minds active.

About: I’ve always taken care of dogs for family and friends so why not help out in my community. I’ve always had dogs growing up and can’t imagine a home without one.I love dogs so much when I moved to Australia and unexpectedly recused a staffy that I ended up flying home with me when I moved back to Ireland. After he passed a few years later I got another staffy mix I just think they are the most loyal dogs and great company. Our family dog is a Shih Tzu Maisie and my George and Maisie are besties, little and large. I’ve been experience with a lot of breeds and treat them all with so much love. I’m currently on maternity leave so have time to mind dogs in my home and we do a lot of walks everyday, we love getting out and about and getting the steps in. I have a fenced garden and a big cuddly staffy who loves company too. I can keep separated if its what you prefer. If I’m minding your pet they are part of our home. We allow dogs cuddle beside us on the sofa and plenty of playtime and big walks.

Upon first meeting Jhonathan, Zoe took to him which was extraordinary because she is usually wary of men. She was Instantly comfortable with him allowing body contact. We were permitted access to Jhonathan's family home to allow Zoe to become familiar with what would be new surroundings for a few days. While I was away Jhonathan sent daily photos of Zoe's activity and comfort. She was very well cared for and enjoyed by Jhonathan and family.

FAQs for Dog Boarding - Trim

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Dog Boarding in Trim on Rover is {{median_grand_total_num.as_currency}} per night (as of {{date}}). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Dog Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Dog Boarding.

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.

Finding the right boarding environment is all about peace of mind. Boarding with a sitter on Rover helps you find a cosy experience in a real home for your dog.

When searching for a host, look for a sitter who:

  • Offers a secure, home-like environment that is clean and welcoming
  • Adheres to your dog’s established routine for meals, activity, and rest
  • Possesses relevant experience with your pet’s specific breed, size, and personality
  • Maintains clear communication regarding the frequency of photo and message updates

Don’t skip the Meet & Greet! The free Meet & Greet is the best way to see where your dog will sleep and who they might play with.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up to date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in Meath ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis (Adenovirus), and Leptospirosis.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Some boarding sitters stay with the dogs in their care for most of the day, while others may step out for work, errands or other commitments. Each sitter’s schedule and the amount of time your dog may be left alone will vary, so it is important to agree expectations before the stay begins.

Before booking, tell the sitter how long your dog can comfortably be left alone and confirm their typical schedule during the stay. Adding the maximum number of hours your dog can be left alone to their profile can also help sitters decide whether they are the right match.

Boarding does not automatically include round-the-clock supervision. If your dog needs someone present at all times, ask whether the sitter offers constant care or 24/7 care. This may require a separate arrangement and may not be included in the sitter’s standard boarding rate.

Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.

Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.

For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three- or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
