About: Hi! I’m a dog-loving mom in my mid-30s living with my young family of four in a peaceful countryside setting. We’re lucky to have five acres of land, including two and a half acres that are fully fenced—perfect for safe, supervised play and exploring. We’re also just a short distance from the beach (less than 2km away), where I walk daily with our dog. Your dog will enjoy plenty of fresh air, exercise, and stimulation as part of our routine. We have a friendly, young Golden Retriever Rough Collie cross who is playful, gentle, and gets along really well with other dogs. Our home is very much a dog-loving environment, and any visiting dog will be treated like part of the family. I also have several years of experience volunteering with assistance dogs, where I trained three puppies who went on to support families. This has given me a strong understanding of dog behaviour, training, and care. Your dog will be in safe, caring, and experienced hands with us. Both myself and my husband, Ciaran, work from home so someone will always be around to care for your pet. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well looked after. Our home has a consistent and flexible routine, with plenty of company throughout the week. I work from home three days a week, and my husband works from home on the other two, so there is always someone around to supervise, care for, and spend time with the dogs. We’re very active day-to-day. I take our dog out for one to two walks daily, often including trips to the nearby beach, as well as time exploring our private land. At home, dogs have access to over two and a half acres of fully fenced garden and an attached field, giving them lots of safe space to run, play, and relax. Between walks, outdoor time, and being part of family life indoors, dogs staying with us enjoy a balanced routine of exercise, stimulation, and rest. Dogs staying with us are welcomed as one of our own, sharing our home and daily life. They can relax indoors with the family or enjoy plenty of time outside playing and exploring at their own pace.

One of my favourite photos was of the dogs curled up on the couch beside Alberto while he watched football, which told me everything I needed to know about how comfortable and happy they were. As a dog owner, there’s nothing better than being able to travel without worrying, and that’s exactly how I felt. Piper and Zeke came home relaxed, happy, and clearly very well cared for. I would absolutely trust Alberto and his family with my dogs again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and genuinely dog-loving sitters.”
