Ashleigh was so so good with our 8 month old cockapoo Ernie! Ernie can often be unsure about new people but she was extremely professional with him and treated him like her own pup. Ernie also had a great time playing with Ashleigh’s two dogs. I couldn’t recommend Ashleigh enough and we will definitely be using her again!

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. I’ve provided both short- and long-term pet sitting services, including daily walks, feeding, administering medication, and offering plenty of affection and playtime. What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine love for animals and my calm, intuitive approach, especially with pets who are shy, anxious, or need extra attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own, always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m reliable, observant, and communicative, keeping owners updated regularly with photos and notes to provide peace of mind. I am currently working from home so I have plenty of time to take care of your dog and play with them outside when the weather is good :) I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment, follow routines closely, give plenty of playtime, cuddles, and updates, always ensuring pets feel secure and happy

About: I have 9 years of experience pet sitting and making sure my furry clients go home happy and pleasantly tired. What sets me apart is my ability to manage high-energy dogs in a positive way—structuring walks, socializing them safely, and keeping them mentally stimulated with games. Nine years in this field have taught me how to be proactive and anticipate street distractions (like loud noises or other dogs) to guarantee a 100% safe outing. Your pet won't just be supervised; they will enjoy an active, fun routine tailored to their specific energy level. My schedule is completely flexible, so I am happy to accommodate whatever timing works best for you and your pet! I am always available to step in, keep them safe, and shower them with all the love, attention, and cuddles they deserve Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced, secure yard where pups can safely run and play. I also have two incredibly friendly dogs of my own who love making new friends and will keep your fur baby excellent company! If your dog prefers their own space or is used to a specific routine, I can easily crate them or set up a quiet, private area for meals and rest.

My dog Hogan had the best time with Adaline. The fact that he dragged me to Adaline’s house and went running in to them says it all. Very happy with Adeline’s care. I can tell he was very well looked after. Can highly recommend Adeline.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’ve been around dogs practically my entire life — starting at age 4 with my first Labrador, followed by a Chihuahua, as well as mixed breeds with Bull and Boxer traits. I especially enjoy energetic dogs and understand how important it is to meet their physical and emotional needs. Through caring for my own dogs, I’ve also gained experience handling reactivity and learning how to stay calm, patient, and attentive in different situations. I believe every dog deserves a balance of mental stimulation, physical exercise, playtime, affection, and proper care. I truly enjoy building trust with each dog and understanding their unique personality and rhythm. Every dog is different, and I’ll always adapt to your dog’s specific needs to make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m naturally observant, patient, punctual, and very caring with animals. Beyond dogs, I genuinely love animals in general and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is always to provide reliable, loving, and attentive care so both you and your dog can feel completely at ease. I currently attend school from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, which gives me flexibility during afternoons and evenings for pet care. I also work remotely online in the afternoons, so I’m able to stay attentive and present while caring for pets. Because of this schedule, I can dedicate quality time to walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, and making sure dogs feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I’m organized and reliable, and I always make sure pets receive the attention, exercise, and routine they need. I’m always free on weekends. currently offer dog walking and pet care in the owner’s home only. I believe many dogs feel more comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment, so I focus on maintaining their normal routine and giving them personalized attention. During walks and visits, I make sure dogs get the right balance of exercise, mental stimulation, playtime, affection, food, water, and rest depending on their needs and energy level. I’m also very attentive to their behavior and body language to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy at all times. I’m responsible, patient, punctual, and caring, and I always treat every dog with the same love and respect I would give my own pets.

About: Hi there! I’m a certified veterinarian from Mexico who recently moved to Ireland in June 2026. Back home, my life always revolved around animals—from dogs and cats to rabbits and fish. Right now, my beloved cat is staying with my parents, and because I miss her and the daily joy that pets bring into a home, I decided to join Pawshake. For me, this is not just a job; it is a way to fill my heart while providing the absolute best care for your best friend. 🩺 Professional Veterinary Background I have always been deeply committed to animal welfare, which led me to study Veterinary Medicine. I graduated in 2020, and since then, I have worked continuously in veterinary hospitals and clinics. What this means for your pet: I have extensive experience in animal health, monitoring behavior, and recognizing subtle signs of stress or discomfort. Specialized Care: If your pet is a senior, has chronic medical conditions, or requires specific medication (oral, injections, etc.), they will be in the safest hands possible. I am fully trained to handle medical needs with the utmost gentleness and precision. 🕊️ My Lifelong Bond with Dogs Throughout my life, I have given my heart to four beautiful dogs, most of whom were rescued from the streets. They taught me everything I know about unconditional love, patience, and senior pet care: Pirata: A beautiful French Poodle mix who was gifted to me by my grandfather when I was just 3 years old; he lived a long, happy life until the age of 18. Buba: A sweet Labrador who was with us until she was 12. Dokho: A brave companion who lived to be 15, whom I lovingly cared for through his heart and liver failure. Pam: A Labrador who completely changed my life and passed away two years ago at age 12 due to chronic kidney disease. Losing Pam was heartbreaking, and because I knew I wanted to travel and explore the world, I chose not to get another dog of my own until I fully settle down. Caring for your pet will truly bring that missing joy back into my life. 🏡 What I Offer I will treat your pet exactly as if they were my own—with unconditional love, respect, and deep professional attention. Whether it is a high-energy walk, keeping up with their strict feeding schedules, or simply providing a calm, affectionate presence so they don't feel lonely, I am here for them. Since I am highly organized and communicative, you can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your furry family member is being looked after by a professional who genuinely cares. I can't wait to meet your pet and give them a home away from home! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or special requirements. 🐕✨ My weekly routine is highly structured and predictable, making it easy to provide consistent, quality care. I study in the mornings, which keeps my schedule very stable. Once my classes are over, I organize my time so that I have my afternoons completely free to be at home, relaxing and keeping the pets company. Since I love exercising and going for daily walks, I absolutely enjoy incorporating dog walks into my active routine—it's the perfect match! This way, I can ensure the dogs get plenty of outdoor exercise and fun, while still enjoying a calm, attentive, and cozy environment once we are back home. In my home: I live in a cozy, smaller apartment, so I make sure to compensate for the space by keeping the dogs active outdoors. If your pet stays with me, I will adjust my schedule to take them out for more frequent walks and exercise. This way, they can burn off their energy outside and enjoy a calm, relaxed, and comfortable environment once we are back home. In the owner's home: If you prefer me to care for your pet in their own home, my absolute priority is to respect and maintain their exact daily routine. I know how important stability is for pets, so I will strictly follow their usual feeding, walking, and playtime schedules. This ensures they feel completely comfortable, safe, and happy in their familiar environment, making your time away as stress-free as possible for them.

We left our 4 month old puppy with Anastasiia for one day care day while we were going out for the whole day. He loved it and Anastasiia sent lots of pics to reassure us that he was doing OK. They brought him out walking and he had great fun playing with some other dogs in their garden. Will definitely be there again!

About: Providing flexible and regular dog walking and sitting (dogs from one family only per walk and stay ❤️) in Donabate and surrounding area. New to this app (profile approved as of Aug 14 2026), but have nice reviews in the Donabate Facebook Group. Life long love of dogs. I'm full time at home and my three children are in school. I can walk doggies solo between 9am and 1pm or so midweek, and also at flexible times at the weekends. After school midweek the children would be walking with me 🤗. I provide stays in my home in a family environment also. I have a medium sized well fenced back garden with grass. We don't own a pet of our own yet, but am well experienced with dogs, and I grew up in a house with a champion trained dog who did Kennel Club competitions! Dogs own crate/bed would be in our open plan kitchen/sittingroom if staying.

Riley had the best 2 days with Caroline. She is the best dogsitter we have used on this website. She looked after him so well and she sent updates and photos during the day. Riley came home exhausted both days after playing with all of his buddies. She has a huge garden which is enclosed and loads of toys for the dogs. Riley had the best time playing ball in the garden. I would highly recommend Caroline for dogsitting. She is very friendly and it is obvious that she really loves dogs as they are all treated like one of her own.

From start to end, fantastic! First time leaving my pup with someone other than family and first time pup sleeping over with someone else (and other dogs). Great communication throughout even without Cooper in her care and lovely wee updates. Put me at ease. Cooper home safe & well and EXHAUSTED from all the playing!! Not to mention Cooper runs into her home without saying goodbye to me haha… and that’s only after 1 stay. Already booked another slot :)

As of August 2026, there are 341 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Drogheda. Enter your Eircode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your working day. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalised environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-to-one attention, and same-day collection and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose 'can host' section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socialising needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters 'Doesn't own a dog' and 'Only accepts one pet at a time' to find the right care.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every pet sitter, walker, and boarding sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they 'Accept multiple clients' or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

Many sitters on Rover can help with collection and drop-off! You can find the cost of collection and drop-off in their profile under 'See additional rates'.

If you found a day care close to your home in Drogheda, you can also explore dog walking as an add-on service, which allows your sitter to collect or drop off your dog from their home to yours. Add your location to the search field to find sitters near you and message them directly about transport alternatives.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cut-off time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will apply. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
