About: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life and have always had a natural connection with them. I have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, including caring for my own dog for 13 years. I’m also trained in dog grooming and have experience with senior pets and their individual needs. I’m caring, patient and reliable, and I’ll always treat your pet as one of my own. 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule outside of my working hours and enjoy spending my free time with animals. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting throughout the week, and I can also provide longer stays when owners are away. I always prioritise safety, comfort and trust. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality and individual needs, and I follow their usual feeding, walking and medication routines where required. I provide a calm, clean and secure environment and always make sure pets are supervised and cared for with patience and attention. Whether caring for them in my home or theirs, I want them to feel safe, comfortable and loved while their owners are away. 🐾

About: Hi there! I’m a certified veterinarian from Mexico who recently moved to Ireland in June 2026. Back home, my life always revolved around animals—from dogs and cats to rabbits and fish. Right now, my beloved cat is staying with my parents, and because I miss her and the daily joy that pets bring into a home, I decided to join Pawshake. For me, this is not just a job; it is a way to fill my heart while providing the absolute best care for your best friend. 🩺 Professional Veterinary Background I have always been deeply committed to animal welfare, which led me to study Veterinary Medicine. I graduated in 2020, and since then, I have worked continuously in veterinary hospitals and clinics. What this means for your pet: I have extensive experience in animal health, monitoring behavior, and recognizing subtle signs of stress or discomfort. Specialized Care: If your pet is a senior, has chronic medical conditions, or requires specific medication (oral, injections, etc.), they will be in the safest hands possible. I am fully trained to handle medical needs with the utmost gentleness and precision. 🕊️ My Lifelong Bond with Dogs Throughout my life, I have given my heart to four beautiful dogs, most of whom were rescued from the streets. They taught me everything I know about unconditional love, patience, and senior pet care: Pirata: A beautiful French Poodle mix who was gifted to me by my grandfather when I was just 3 years old; he lived a long, happy life until the age of 18. Buba: A sweet Labrador who was with us until she was 12. Dokho: A brave companion who lived to be 15, whom I lovingly cared for through his heart and liver failure. Pam: A Labrador who completely changed my life and passed away two years ago at age 12 due to chronic kidney disease. Losing Pam was heartbreaking, and because I knew I wanted to travel and explore the world, I chose not to get another dog of my own until I fully settle down. Caring for your pet will truly bring that missing joy back into my life. 🏡 What I Offer I will treat your pet exactly as if they were my own—with unconditional love, respect, and deep professional attention. Whether it is a high-energy walk, keeping up with their strict feeding schedules, or simply providing a calm, affectionate presence so they don't feel lonely, I am here for them. Since I am highly organized and communicative, you can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your furry family member is being looked after by a professional who genuinely cares. I can't wait to meet your pet and give them a home away from home! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or special requirements. 🐕✨ My weekly routine is highly structured and predictable, making it easy to provide consistent, quality care. I study in the mornings, which keeps my schedule very stable. Once my classes are over, I organize my time so that I have my afternoons completely free to be at home, relaxing and keeping the pets company. Since I love exercising and going for daily walks, I absolutely enjoy incorporating dog walks into my active routine—it's the perfect match! This way, I can ensure the dogs get plenty of outdoor exercise and fun, while still enjoying a calm, attentive, and cozy environment once we are back home. In my home: I live in a cozy, smaller apartment, so I make sure to compensate for the space by keeping the dogs active outdoors. If your pet stays with me, I will adjust my schedule to take them out for more frequent walks and exercise. This way, they can burn off their energy outside and enjoy a calm, relaxed, and comfortable environment once we are back home. In the owner's home: If you prefer me to care for your pet in their own home, my absolute priority is to respect and maintain their exact daily routine. I know how important stability is for pets, so I will strictly follow their usual feeding, walking, and playtime schedules. This ensures they feel completely comfortable, safe, and happy in their familiar environment, making your time away as stress-free as possible for them.

About: I have grown up surrounded by animals from a very young age, and they have always been a very important part of my life. I have had pets throughout my life and have many years of experience caring for my own dog, understanding their needs, routines, personality and, most importantly, the love and attention they deserve. I am a caring, patient and responsible person, and I genuinely adore animals. I enjoy spending time with them, giving them plenty of affection and making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. I welcome small and medium-sized dogs and can offer them a calm, loving home environment, with plenty of green spaces and open areas nearby for walks and outdoor enjoyment. For me, caring for a dog is not simply a responsibility — it is a privilege and something I truly enjoy. 🐾❤️ I am flexible and available for dog care during the week and at weekends. I can adapt to your dog’s usual routine, including walks, feeding, playtime and rest, and I am happy to accommodate their individual needs.🐾🐾 I have experience administering medication and caring for dogs with special needs, including eye care. My little Durri was part of my family for almost 16 years. During his final year, he became completely blind and deaf, and I cared for him with love and dedication until his last days. He passed away six months ago and left a huge space in my heart. Caring for other animals now gives me the opportunity to share all the love and care I still have to give. Your dog will be treated with patience, kindness and genuine affection, in a safe and loving environment.❤️🐾

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’ve been around dogs practically my entire life — starting at age 4 with my first Labrador, followed by a Chihuahua, as well as mixed breeds with Bull and Boxer traits. I especially enjoy energetic dogs and understand how important it is to meet their physical and emotional needs. Through caring for my own dogs, I’ve also gained experience handling reactivity and learning how to stay calm, patient, and attentive in different situations. I believe every dog deserves a balance of mental stimulation, physical exercise, playtime, affection, and proper care. I truly enjoy building trust with each dog and understanding their unique personality and rhythm. Every dog is different, and I’ll always adapt to your dog’s specific needs to make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m naturally observant, patient, punctual, and very caring with animals. Beyond dogs, I genuinely love animals in general and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is always to provide reliable, loving, and attentive care so both you and your dog can feel completely at ease. I currently attend school from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, which gives me flexibility during afternoons and evenings for pet care. I also work remotely online in the afternoons, so I’m able to stay attentive and present while caring for pets. Because of this schedule, I can dedicate quality time to walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, and making sure dogs feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I’m organized and reliable, and I always make sure pets receive the attention, exercise, and routine they need. I’m always free on weekends. currently offer dog walking and pet care in the owner’s home only. I believe many dogs feel more comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment, so I focus on maintaining their normal routine and giving them personalized attention. During walks and visits, I make sure dogs get the right balance of exercise, mental stimulation, playtime, affection, food, water, and rest depending on their needs and energy level. I’m also very attentive to their behavior and body language to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy at all times. I’m responsible, patient, punctual, and caring, and I always treat every dog with the same love and respect I would give my own pets.

About: I truly love dogs. Taking care of them, giving them love, and making sure they feel safe and happy is something that brings me a lot of joy. In my home country, I had two dogs that I raised and cared for since they were puppies. I also offered pet-sitting services for other dogs, always with the highest level of professionalism and affection. Yes, taking care of pets fits perfectly into my daily routine because I haven’t found a job yet. That’s why I see this as a great opportunity: I’m fully available and committed to giving my best. I would be very happy to make this my job. I provide pet care services exclusively at the owner's home, as I believe dogs feel much safer and more relaxed in their familiar environment. I always adapt to each dog's needs and emotional state to ensure their well-being. If a dog is anxious or shy, I create a calm atmosphere, give them space, and build trust with patience and gentle care. If they are energetic and playful, I focus on physical activity, interactive games, and mental stimulation. If the dog is calm and affectionate, I spend quality time offering companionship, cuddles, and attention. I also make sure they always have fresh water, follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, and maintain their usual routine as closely as possible. Every dog is unique, which is why my care is always personalized, professional, and full of love.

About: I have particular experience caring for pets with special needs (anxiety and attachment issues, physical limitations, allergies, and specific dietary requirements, etc). My own dog lives with patellar luxation, so I understand firsthand how much it means to owners to know their sitter understands their furbaby’s needs. My home is surrounded by beautiful nature and many dog parks are present nearby. Every animal can move freely between the house and the fenced garden. Indoors, animals are free to relax on the couch, nap where they like. If your dog wants to play along, I offer plenty of opportunities for play, games for mental stimulation and I can provide enrichments. If your pet is crate trained, there’s plenty of space for their own crate or bed. Flexible drop off / Pick up Hours WhatsApp/sms updates with pictures and videos An ideal day dog sitting would involve walking along Dublin’s canal and paying a visit at the dog park in Dublin 1, behind Dublin’s Basin Park.

About: We are a family that loves dogs! We have two dogs: Donut (Corgi) and Passoca (Golden Retriever). We have a house with a good structure to receive dogs and provide fun holidays for them while they are away from their owners. In addition to fun, we also give attention and love, which is the most important thing so that the dogs feel comfortable and at home! I am currently at home, some freelance activities but mostly at home. My wife work from home most of the days and will support on care. Our house is spacious and has a large backgarden where the dogs play most of the time being a safe place and without access to the outside.

About: Hi! I’m Minji, and I’ve been living with my two dogs for over 6 years. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities and energy levels. I have two very different dogs of my own — one is active and loves long walks and adventures, while the other prefers a calmer lifestyle. They are both friendly, well-socialised and used to meeting new dogs while respecting their space, helping create a calm and relaxed environment for visiting dogs. We live in a house with a fully enclosed back garden, and dogs staying with us can freely enjoy the house (except our bedroom) and garden. We’re close to several parks and go for two walks every day. On weekends, with your permission, we can also enjoy longer walks, beach trips or hikes. We only care for one family’s dog(s) at a time, so I can give each dog plenty of individual attention and care. I’ll follow your dog’s usual feeding, walking and medication routines as closely as possible, and send daily photos and activity updates so you know how they’re doing. Meet & Greets are always welcome! I want both you and your dog to feel comfortable before their stay. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved and at home while you’re away Our daily routine includes two walks; morning and evening. On weekends, if the weather allows, I usually take the dogs to hiking for 1-2hours, and go to nearby cafe for puppuchino. I live in a house with a fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely relax and play. My two dogs are friendly, calm and well-socialised around other dogs. I only care for one family at a time so your dog receives personalised attention and care.

About: Providing flexible and regular dog walking and sitting (dogs from one family only per walk and stay ❤️) in Donabate and surrounding area. New to this app (profile approved as of Aug 14 2026), but have nice reviews in the Donabate Facebook Group. Life long love of dogs. I'm full time at home and my three children are in school so I have plenty of time to provide one one one attention to your dog. I can walk doggies solo between 9am and 1pm or so midweek, and also at flexible times at the weekends. After school midweek the children may be walking with me 🤗. I provide stays in my home in a family environment also. I have a medium sized well fenced back garden with grass. We don't own a pet of our own yet, but am well experienced with dogs, and I grew up in a house with a champion trained dog who did Kennel Club competitions! Your dog will become a part of our family during their stay. Sleeping arrangements depend on what the dog is used to, and they are welcome upstairs in our house. Dogs are also allowed on the couches if that is what they are used to. Our estate is adjacent to an estuary park so there will always be plenty of walks.

From start to end, fantastic! First time leaving my pup with someone other than family and first time pup sleeping over with someone else (and other dogs). Great communication throughout even without Cooper in her care and lovely wee updates. Put me at ease. Cooper home safe & well and EXHAUSTED from all the playing!! Not to mention Cooper runs into her home without saying goodbye to me haha… and that’s only after 1 stay. Already booked another slot :)

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of September 2026, there are 361 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Drogheda. Enter your Eircode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your working day. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalised environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-to-one attention, and same-day collection and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose 'can host' section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socialising needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters 'Doesn't own a dog' and 'Only accepts one pet at a time' to find the right care.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every pet sitter, walker, and boarding sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they 'Accept multiple clients' or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

Many sitters on Rover can help with collection and drop-off! You can find the cost of collection and drop-off in their profile under 'See additional rates'.

If you found a day care close to your home in Drogheda, you can also explore dog walking as an add-on service, which allows your sitter to collect or drop off your dog from their home to yours. Add your location to the search field to find sitters near you and message them directly about transport alternatives.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cut-off time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will apply. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
