About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life and am well equipped to manage and take care of your pets! I'm very active, so I can handle high energy dogs that need longer walks, runs, or hikes. I'm currently not working, so I have a very flexible schedule. I can do early mornings to late afternoons. I can work around your dog or cats schedule to make sure their needs are met. As of right now I am not open to host pets at my house. If I am staying over at your house I am polite and leave the place cleaner than I found it.

“Alison helped us out during my wedding in Hood River and she did an excellent job. She’s prompt and trustworthy and took great care of my dogs!”

About: I’m a single, remote worker with no pets of my own that’s got many pets in my life who I love! I’ve done pet sitting on both coasts ranging from elderly pets like dogs and cats to your non traditional like birds, goats, chickens, and pigs. I offer personalized services for your beloved family members like reading out loud, tucking them in for bed, taking them on hikes, out for a pup cup, play time, dressing them, to watching their favorite shows. Let me love your babies and I’ll show you a happy loved one! I’m single, a work from home school counselor, and have no pets of my own so I’m flexible to come to your space to do let your pet out, do long check-ins, walks, play, to overnight or extended stays. During the school year (August to Mid-May), I take a break from 12:30pm to 1:30pm and finish by 4 to 4:30pm. If you have wireless internet, I can bring my work with me so you have peace of mind your loved one can stay in their own space and not have any stress of being moved around. In my home, I do my best to make them feel at home and comfortable. I can bring their beds, toys, etc into my space and have a great, walkable area for them to explore all the smells. I am above a garage with a small porch that I can block off and hang outside with them. I love to love on your babies and introduce them to my local family and friends, especially my online students. My place is not huge, but I’ve hosted small to larger pets like labradors. For my clients, I have dropped in for a period of time, done overnights, extended stays, and even traveled and taken care of multiple pets and some farm animals to help them feel at ease knowing their babies are being taken care of like plant watering, egg harvesting, to mail and package pickup. I love to be around animals and work hard to ensure they feel loved, cared for, and a bit spoiled!

About: I have trained puppies to be mobility service dogs from when they were eight weeks old to two years old. I have also lived with dogs for the past 17 years. I am highly proficient in training basic skills (sit, down, stay, heel) and well-versed in positive reinforcement and praise-based training methods. I also have experience with exercising dogs both physically and through mental enrichment. I am currently working a Wednesday to Sunday schedule and am generally available after 5 pm on those days. I have much more daytime availability Mondays and Tuesdays. I am happy to find appropriate walks for your pets of all ages and abilities in the area. I will make sure to meet your pet's physical and mental needs and communicate clearly and effectively.

“I cannot begin to sing Rosie’s praises enough. I came home to a less stressed dog, and it’s a testimony to how well Rosie works with my dog (and I’m sure any pets she’s taking care of). She goes above and beyond always. Rosie is my go-to sitter hands down. Trustworthy, caring, communicative.”

She was more than willing to communicate through text or the app and sent plenty of photos to keep me updated. ☆☆☆☆☆”

About: I am very responsible and treat the animals as if they were my own. As an anxious pet owner myself, I know leaving them can be very hard. With me they’re in good hands. I am currently working part time 3 days a week but I live with my mom and she is retired so she fills in for me when needed to ensure that your pup is never left alone for very long :) I have a large fenced in backyard. I have experience with reactive dogs and dogs with separation anxiety. I can provide anything from walks to boarding to hang out time and have experience with giving medicine.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was in college. I have formed many trusting and genuine relationships with pet owners and have a true passion for animal-care. I have provided pet care in many states including Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Oregon. I am extremely reliable and take great care in my interactions with all animals I work with. I also have experience working at “Paws and Claws” for 2 years as a support staff in the kennels, during grooming appointments, and doggy-group playtime. I absolutely love animals, and would be overjoyed to spend quality time with your beloved furry friend! I am available on all weekdays, as well as the weekends! I am very flexible with my time and am more than happy to be flexible with your schedule. About: I love pets!!! If there is any training you are working on with your pup, I will do my best to follow any guidelines given. I need to be taken on walks just as much as your dog does, so you can count on them getting exercise every day :) I love taking them outside to play! I’m home a lot, but I also love hiking and other various outdoor activities. Your dog will come home very happy! I have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. No pets or kids, no rat poison and an electric lid on the trashcan. I can crate them as long as you provide the crate, and if they’re well behaved I can leave them out at night/ if I leave the house.

About: For the past 3 years, neighbors, roommates & friends have relied on me to feed, exercise and care for their dogs. If you have an athletic or active dog, I am the sitter for you! Walks, trips to the park, hiking, running the trails or playing at the spit, I will make sure your pup is happy. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity to where your dog is most comfortable. I have experience with dogs of all different sizes and breeds. I can accommodate any special needs your pup requires besides injections or advanced medical care. I’m currently working a hybrid position and have two days a week at home! I’m located in downtown Hood River and could stop by in the mornings or evenings My partner and I are the owners of two adorable cats that are not used to having a dog in their home so I would need to care for your pup at your place. We would love nothing more to adopt our own pup, but is not the right timing for us. If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks, walking around town, running the trails, or swimming at the spit, your dog will be happy. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most comfortable.
