I have a great passion for pet care and personally understand what its like wanting to make sure they are safe, doing well and have everything they need while you are away. I would love to assist with taking them for walks, feeding them or cleaning the litter box. I'm also okay with cleaning up behind them if they should have an accident. In addition, I would be more than happy to give them some playtime while creating a new friendship. About: I recently moved to the Gorge from Asheville, NC, and I am so excited to meet you and your pups! My deep love for animals began at a very young age. Growing up, I was surrounded by pets of all shapes and sizes -from dogs and cats to farm animals, reptiles, and birds. That lifelong passion led me into a rewarding career in animal care. I have been a full-time professional dog groomer and daycare/boarding specialist for the past 20 years. I also have experience at a veterinary emergency center. In my free time, I would volunteer to walk shelter dogs. I understand that every dog is unique. We love going to the Bingen point “ dog park,”walking around the neighborhood near Daubenspeck park, Catherine creek, North Western, b.z falls, and the klickitat trail!

About: I have a big heart for animals (especially cats and dogs). I am very passionate and driven, i’ll make sure your pets have their needs (and wants) full filled! I work Monday-Thursday from 7-3ish normally. This being said I have most of my afternoons open and weekends and nights available to stay overnight or just walk your pets! I am very gentle and caring with animals, but I can be stern if needed. I don’t accept overnights in my own home due to allergies etc. But I will make sure your dog/cat has everything they need and gets love and attention in their home. I know how to handle big and small dogs, and most of the time I can keep them contained on a lead too.

About: I currently have a pup of my own who I have been training. She still has work to do. I have spent years prior to that being the house/animal sitter back home in West Virginia. I work part time. I am a teacher during the school year. In the summer I just work 5 hours 2 days a week at a local winery. I usually walk/bike my dog every morning before work. On days I do not, I try to get her out on a longer walk or swim when the weather is really hot. I have a very flexible schedule in the summer to fit in other animals. I am pretty vigilant when it comes to my own dog. I try to make sure she gets plenty of exercise. She needs it. I love getting her socialized with older and younger dogs. I have even taken my pup to school with me to socialize best with my students are blind. I would follow the care needs set forth by the dog/cat parents. Please be sure to give special instructions if needed.

About: Growing up, my family always had cats, dogs, Guinea pigs, ferrets, fish, and more. Being around animals is nothing new to me and is a huge part of why I have a huge heart for animals now. I currently live in BZ Corner in a house with a fenced yard with my two cats, Archie and Oliver, and my golden retriever named Seager. Archie is 4 years old, Oliver is 6 years old, and Seager is a year old. I do work two part time jobs, but I am available most days in the afternoon. Just send me a message and I’ll let you know if I am available! I love all animals! My cats are my babies and I shower them with love. They have lots of toys and even have harnesses for me to take them on walks and two cat trees to climb on. Seager, the newest baby to the family, is my pride and joy. He is crazy but so loving. He gets to go on multiple walks a day and even gets to go down to the waterfront on the weekends. After a walk with your pet, I will make sure your pet has water and place them back where they were before I took them on our walk. I will of course make sure they get their energy out with toys, give them a ton of pets, and make sure they go potty on our walk as well. I do have a large yard, and it is newly fenced! I live far away from the main road and do not have many neighbors.

About: I have had pups all my life, of many different shapes and sizes. I have lots of experience caring for elderly pups as well training puppies. I am comfortable with big dogs as much as I am little ones. I recently lost my dog of 20 long, happy puppy years, and am eager to put all the extra love I have to give into your pup. I have trained countless dogs to walk well on leash, if that’s something you need help with. I am also comfortable with big off leash (or on) hikes, if that’s what your pup prefers. I have a 90 lb bernedoodle puppy at home who delights in off leash adventures. If your dog needs socializing, we could all go together! I work part time and attend graduate school remotely, so I’m able to spend ample time with your beloved pets! My husband stays home with our dogs when I’m pet sitting, so not much need to leave once I’m there. I am very cognizant of escape artists and all sorts of mischievous puppies and kitties. I am very communicative with all of my clients; I’ll send pics and texts or calls if you prefer several times a day (unless you’d rather be left alone!)

About: I can administer medications, give your pet a bath, clean up yard poop, and be able to spend time with your pets with lots of love! About: I’ve cared for a lot of animals, including pets with special needs and exotic animals, through my pet care business and across a variety of pet care apps. I don’t have any animal phobias, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of species. Schedule and availability: I’m available Monday through Sunday to care for your pets. I offer boarding, daycare, house sitting, drop-in visits, dog walks, and bathing and brushing services. Policies and requirements: I’m unable to care for pets that are aggressive, destructive, or pose a safety risk to people or other animals. I accept pets that aren’t spayed or neutered, though my rates will be double my standard rate for boarding or daycare. Female dogs who are expected to be in heat during their stay are charged triple my standard rate. All pets must be up to date on routine veterinary care care, including vaccinations and flea/tick prevention, to be eligible for any services. All pets must not be sick or showing signs of illness at the time of service to be eligible for any services. Multiple pets and pet profiles: Each pet must be individually listed on the booking request and have their own profile. Multiple pets may not be booked as a single pet. If all pets aren’t accurately listed, I reserve the right to modify the booking request to reflect the correct number of pets or refuse service. Pet pictures and updates: I typically send one update and picture of your pets per day. I generally don’t send messages after 7:00 PM Pacific Time. However, you’re welcome to message me after 7:00 PM, and I’ll get back to you when I’m available. Meet and greets: Meet and greets are optional but recommended for first-time clients. If you’re skipping the meet and greet, I require detailed care instructions for your pets. Your first meet and greet is free. If you want additional meet and greets, I require them to be booked as drop-in visits. Boarding and daycare: I board pets from multiple families at the same time. Pets from different families are kept separate and are never allowed to interact with each other. Dogs will receive one last potty break before bed around 9:00 PM Pacific Time before being crated overnight. Fresh water is always available throughout my home and in the crates. I use spacious, heavy-duty, 48-inch crates because your pets’ safety and comfort are my top priority. These crates are suitable for tiny dogs and XXL dogs alike. For owners interested in boarding their pets for more than three days, I require a 24-hour trial stay before I’ll consider accepting a longer boarding request. However, I don’t require a 24-hour trial stay for boardings that are three days or less. For daycare, I provide a safe, stress-free environment where your dogs can relax and have fun. Dogs will receive playtime, walks, and plenty of attention during their stay. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, energy level, and individual needs to ensure a positive daycare experience. For boarding and daycare services, I require owners to complete an online questionnaire that contains screening questions about their pets. This questionnaire helps me determine whether my home is a good fit for everyone involved. I also offer solo boarding and daycare. Solo care means that there will be no other animals in my home during your booking, allowing your pets to receive my full, undivided attention. I require a minimum of six month’s advance notice for solo care. Solo boarding starts at $300/night for the first pet, +$10/night for each additional dog, and +$5/night for each additional cat. Solo daycare starts at $200/night for the first dog and +$5/night for each additional dog. These services must be paid within two weeks of your initial inquiry in order to secure your requested dates. If payment is not received within that time, the dates will no longer be held and the reservation will be forfeited. All payments are non-refundable once received, even if you decide to cancel your reservation. Pet pick up and drop off: If you would like me to provide pick up and drop off services, you must provide secure, appropriately sized carriers for your pets. An additional $30 will be charged for pick ups that are 30-39 minutes late. An additional $40 will be charged for picks up that are 40-49 minutes late. An additional day of boarding/daycare will be charged for picks up that are 50+ minutes late. House sitting: When I’m house sitting, I’ll stay overnight and sleep in your home each night. I won’t invite other people over, and I won’t allow other animals into your home. If I leave your home, I’ll only be gone for a maximum of four hours at a time, unless an emergency or an unexpected delay prevents me from doing so. Watering plants is free for any plants on an automatic watering system, such as a sprinkler or irrigation system. For plants that require manual watering, watering is free for up to ten plants, with a charge of +$1 for every two additional plants if eleven or more plants require manual watering. I also offer 24-hour constant care for house sitting, starting at $600/night for the first pet, +$10/night for each additional dog, and +$5/night for each additional cat. With constant care, I remain in your home for the entire stay and won’t leave at any point unless there’s an emergency. My constant care rates apply to pets that can only be left alone for 3.9 hours or less at a time. Drop-in visits: A standard drop-in visit in 30 minutes, with the option to extend it to 60 minutes. I’ll provide your pets with personalized care based on the instructions you give me, and I’ll give them as much attention as they feel comfortable with. Dog walks: A standard dog walk is 30 minutes, with the option to extend it to 60 minutes. Your dogs will receive a safe and enjoyable walk tailored to their energy level. Whether they prefer a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk, I’ll make sure they get the amount of exercise that’s right for them. Bathing and brushing: Bathing and brushing is an optional service that can be added to your booking for an additional fee. All bathing and brushing services include a bath with dog shampoo, towel drying, and brushing. Prices vary based on several factors, including the dog’s weight, coat type, and coat condition.
