Currently doing a couple different odd jobs (this totally being one of them). I always try to spend a lot of time with the animal I’m caring for, sitting with them and allowing them to relax with me in the home. I always stay over with the animals.

A typical day
I’ve always been an early riser, as are most animals, so we’ll always begin out with morning chores and an activity. We’ll have an indoor activity, like a kong or a puzzle, in the afternoon, and another quick walk in the evening to settle everyone down.

Pet care experience
I began housesitting during the pandemic, just for a change of environment, but over time I’ve really come to enjoy it. I’ve previously worked in a pet boarding facility, so I have lots of experience in getting animals to eat, administering medications, and cleaning up after them! I’ve seen quite a bit.
