Pet care experience

Dog sitting/boarding: Bingen/WS/HR

I'm an experienced dog sitter and former dog mom just returning to Rover and accepting new and returning clients! I have decades of experience taking care of dogs, including my own, friends', and dogs in rescues and shelters. I was the dog-walking coordinator for a dog rescue and a dog-walking volunteer for a public shelter for years. I actually grew up afraid of dogs and it was a big deal for me to start volunteering to walk strange dogs; it helped build my confidence, and I was -- and still am -- very attuned to what's going on with the creature at the other end of the leash. I believe every dog has unique needs and temperament and honor these while they're in my care to ensure they feel as secure and safe as possible.

House Sitting • Aug 14, 2026

Cory was fantastic. We had recently adopted our 8 month old puppy, Penny, and had to leave for a week long trip while she was still very much in the middle of potty training, learning her name, and settling into our home. From the start, Cory was thoughtful, professional, communicative, and clearly very experienced with dogs. She went above and beyond while we were gone by continuing Penny’s training, sending photos and videos, and taking great care of our house and plants. Penny didn’t have a single accident the entire week, and we came home to a house that was as clean as we left it, if not cleaner. We were incredibly impressed with Cory and would absolutely trust her with Penny and our home again. We’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and experienced sitter.

Cory was prompt and accommodating during her check-in on my dog. She was very thorough in asking questions prior to the visit to learn about him. He was well cared for and happy!

Doggy Day Care • Jun 29, 2026

Cory was a lifesaver for me. I was in town for a wedding and frantic and she picked Franklin up and dropped him off for me at my hotel. She was super flexible about my time leaving since I wasn’t exactly sure when I’d be back. She sent me photos and updates the whole day. I’m so grateful she was available.

Schedule

DOG SITTING AND BOARDING: I work from home, so your dog will get lots of attention and potty breaks. Your dog is welcome to join me on the couch or lie at my feet for regular pets, or chill in another room in or out of a crate. Whatever will make your dog feel most at ease while you're away. I recently lost my own 15-year-old dog, so your pup will be my sole focus (and will get lots of love and care).

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fully fenced yard at my home for potty breaks (separate from walks/hikes). If you don't have a fully fenced yard at your home, it's no problem to take your dog for leashed potty walks as frequently as necessary.

A typical day

When my dog was alive, I walked him twice every workday at the Bingen marina or NW Lake park, with longer Gorge hikes and swims together on my days off. I'm happy to tailor an exercise schedule to your dog's needs.

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Takes only 1 client at a time
Cory can host up to 1 pet per night
I'll want to know about your dog's personality and any quirks, and anything else you feel is important for me to know before taking care of your furchild in my home or yours.
